I absolutely LOVED my time staying at the Tangerine. I stayed for solo for one night and felt absolutely safe and cared for. Walking distance to amazing food, the bed was cozy, and the room was clean.

Had the best stay! Staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. Rooms were mid century modern, great aesthetic and chic! Free parking and wonderful brunch place just across the street! Would Definitely stay again!!

Nice, clean and comfortable place with friendly staff and 24 hour front desk. Very nice and respectable. The location (Burbank) is very central, yet it is quiet and out of the rat-race and riffraff. Most of the rooms have a splendid view of the Hollywood hills. The complimentary pastries in the morning were excellent. And, not only is there a coffee maker in the room with fresh coffee and tea everyday, but at the front desk they have coffee, tea and hot chocolate complimentary! This classy little hotel has a lot of heart! Why pay double the nightly rate somewhere else? Also, there are lots of restaurants within walking distance, and even a full supermarket that is only a short walk. I got a smile on my face when I noticed that the credit union across the street is called the SAG Aftra Federal Credit Union! (Sag Aftra is the labor union that represents actors and writers.) But what else would you expect in Burbank California? ??

Structure in classic American style, room quite spacious and clean. A plus point is the breakfast, which although limited to croissants and various sweets is not to be underestimated in Los Angeles. Coffee machine, tea, cappuccino etc. always available to guests. Courteous and helpful staff. Excellent location, close to Universal Studios and Warner Bros Studios (the latter within walking distance)

Simple hotel at a good price compared to the rest of the city.Upon arrival, the room was very clean and organized.I stayed for 7 days and was very well looked after by the staff.The location is good and very close to Warner and Universal but far from other tourist attractions.The area is very quiet and had several restaurant options.The only negative point is that the heater in the room was very noisy and it was not possible to sleep with it on.Overall, it's a great hotel and has parking, which in my case I didn't use as I preferred not to rent a car during my stay.

We stayed here a few weeks ago and we absolutely love it. The morning pastries were yummy. The rooms were super clean and tidy. They came everyday to clean them. Absolutely no complaints. Only downside was that the pool was drained when we went. However they did let us know months in advance. We all enjoyed. I completely recommend it. ❤️

Very nice area to stay, clean and safe. Rooms are neat and clean with complimentary coffee (also available at reception). The rooms also have a fridge. Parking is ample for all cars. Staff is also very friendly. One note may be the lack of insulation around windows and doors so sound and cold air may leak in.

Kamal, the manager is a very welcoming and kind host. He was very informative upon our arrival and was quick to jump onto requests placed by guests. Housekeeping is very well done, the room was incredibly clean and orderly, including the tub. However, the website is misleading about the breakfast, being no more than some pastries. There was also no website notice placed on the pool being closed for maintenance which was a primary reason for me booking the hotel. The location doesn't have much to offer apart from a few restaurants so be sure to have transportation in mind when booking. Overall, very well pleased and beyond satisfied with the hotel and would return again.

Stood here a few years ago. This place is great. Each room had its own unique theme. The rooms were very clean and nicely stocked. The staff was very nice and in the mornings there was a nice assortment of complimentary pastries and such in the lobby from Porto's which is an insanely popular bakery chain in that part of Southern California. Parking is conveniently located in their own lot and the pool was clean and well maintained. Overall not bad place to stay and was reasonably priced. Staying here made the trip to Southern California even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.Rooms: Each room had its own unique theme. Just finished a short trip to visit six flags and Hollywood area with my preteen. Booked directly through their website to save them third party fees. Nowhere on their website, nor is there a notice when you pay, that their pool is completely dug out and unusable until March. That needs to change immediately. Usually when I book directly, I know I'll get a better room. Not this time. The location was one of the worst. The bathroom fan didn't work so it was a swamp. The bathroom needs to have the chipped walls and paint fixed. They didn't enforce their parking on Saturday night so I couldn't park in their lot. I had to park 2 blocks away. So that's the gripes. Now the good. The staff are all very polite and helpful. The location is great. Convenient to highway, restaurants. Because you (usually) are parked steps from your car, you can zip in and out quickly. And it is stylishly appointed and clean throughout. Housekeeping was spotless. I booked on a busy weekend so the value was not great particularly given the broken pool. But when it's fixed, if you get a good price, this is a great kitzy motel to stay.

Let's start with the positives first: both front desk agents I spoke with were wonderful. The room appeared to be clean and had a mini fridge, which was a nice touch. There's a coffee machine, a water refill station and a microwave in the lobby that's available 24 hours a day, and a beverage vending machine outside of the lobby. It's walking distance to restaurants and a gas station. Now for the not so great: you can hear everything on the floor above you, at all hours of the night, and I was right next to the stairs on the ground level so it made me feel nervous hearing activity outside my door. Had I been staying longer, I would've asked to move to another room.
