Buying a 2010 car is always going to be a bit of an adventure. There is only so much you and the dealer can figure out. Carfax provided some comfort.
But we identified 2 issues and the folks at Stellar acknowledged both and agreed to fix. First is a TPMS issue and the second was a missing physical key. Only other surprise was a stripped oil drain bolt. Now way to know is this was known.
They assured us they would take care of both. First week, they asked for more time. Then they asked us to check back. A few weeks later, they stopped responding. After 6 weeks, we spent the additional time and money to resolve both issues. They're not complex but $500 more.
Would have been fine if they simply said they wouldn't resolve. But you should expect that they will not do what they say they will do. So you need to decide if that's who you want to do business with.

I recently purchased a 2005 Mercedes from Stellar Auto and the price was very fair considering the condition of the car. I made an appointment before arriving, and the car was washed and ready for me to test drive.
After deciding to buy the car from Jay, I was in and out in just one hour, from negotiation to signing the papers. Jay did not haggle about the price and gave me his trust.
After having the car for 2 days, a small warning light appeared.(Very common with old Mercedes cars ) Vlad and Olek helped me to fix the issue. As soon as I informed them about the warning light, they asked me to bring the car back to the shop and repaired it. I am very happy with my purchase and will recommend Stellar Auto to friends and family.

Would give a zero if I could. I had my own financing and agreed to buy a car. They then wasted my time for over a week dodging calls from me and my loan agent as well as ignoring texts. Lied about speaking to my agent, lied about sending them a copy of the license and bond which are 2 of the 3 documents required by the credit union. Standard documents to legally operate in CA. After finally getting hold of them the dude acted like they were going to get their act together and send my loan officer the documents. He then lied and said he did, and then said he didn't a few minutes later. They then said nothing for 2 days and then ignored my texts and calls for another 2 days after that. Ultimately they refused to send the documents thus refusing to sell me the car. Idk if they don't have the legal documents required to operate or if they're so lazy that they rather have 2 weeks of hassle for both parties rather then send 2 scanned documents electronically, which should take 5 minutes. I work for the DOD now, but every job before this has been at a car dealership and I've never seen them delay even 10 minutes when selling a car. Something very shady going on here!

Stellar Auto is incredible! I bought a car as a gift from out-of-state, sight unseen, and am beyond impressed. There are no words to express how much Jay helped me (and kept it a secret from my boyfriend who was also inquiring). He was honest, and reliable, and answered my hundreds of questions without getting annoyed. lol. He set up an inspection for me at an auto shop of my choice. He made sure it got there and everything was taken care of. He walked me through every step and it was a very easy process. Stellar Auto worked with me on completing the sale and finding a great price on shipping. The car arrived 2 days later (CA to CO). The car was exactly as their team and post described. I am more than happy with the car and I've never had better customer service, especially from a distance. I would HIGHLY recommend them, and honestly if we were to buy another car, we would look at Stellar Auto first because it was such a wonderful experience. THANK YOU, JAY!! And Ted and everyone at Stellar Auto!

Great experience test driving a car! I came to test drive a car and Jay assured me that I could take my time and not feel bad. I didn't even have an appointment but he made sure he was available. I am still early in my car buying process, so I'm not sure which car I want yet, but I am so grateful to have the time to think with all the information I need and without feeling rushed or pressured. I would feel very comfortable buying a car here if it meets my needs!!

I recommend to bring a mechanic with you if considering purchasing a car here. Don’t expect these guys to disclose issues with the cars they sell. It’s one thing if normal wear and tear items are needed. Luckily, they replaced the hood arms and gave me a few hundred bucks towards a knot in a front tire after I brought that to their attention. Yet, the 2016 Porsche Cayenne I bought here needed an exhaust leak repair, which was a complete shock to me. The Porsche dealership wanted $14,000 to rehaul the system and there were not many other options available. I can’t help but to feel cheated.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL business! Got in touch with Jay, made it VERY CLEAR I would be driving 40 miles to look at one of his vehicles advertised. Got the "are you coming to just look at the car or to buy?" treatment, which I promply reponded by stating the obvious: I'm not driving 40 miles "just to look". Made an appointment for the next Sunday. ON MY WAY, Jay cancelled the appointment due to rain (???) - what decent salesperson avoid a sale due to rain? Contacted Jay the following Friday, confirmed availability and set appointment for Sunday again. Sent message early in the morning informing I was on my way - no response. Sent my ETA as few minutes later - no response. Finally sent a message when I was halfway there asking to confirm and finally responds saying that the car was sold the day before. When I asked why he didn't contact me or even responded, replied by saying that "we don't contact customers late", yet, no response on why he didn't contact me by 11:00 am the next day when I sent the text that I was on my way, followed by another text telling my ETA. No apologies either (until I called to complain about the lack of professionalism). No wonder used car salespeople have a bad rep.

My used car friend Alex is quite the salesman. This is a used car dealer worth shopping at. They have a good selection of used cars and will work out what ever details are needed to get you your car. Great job my friend. Thank from Gary G.

Alex at Stellar Auto helped me get an amazing deal on my new Honda CR-V lease. I saved thousands compared to what my local Honda dealer was trying to charge me. Thank you Alex!

Car was good, am happy with the vehicle.
But before you go, BEWARE their sales tactic. They will FORCE you to buy anti theft insurance which I got quoted up to $800 including taxes, and will sneakily add it on the price of the contract before you sign. There is no need to buy anti theft insurance as you will be driving it off the lot anyway.
If you find out about it and don't want to buy it, they will make you wait at their store, and not respond to you, until you wait so much time you are forced to buy it to prevent wasting more time.
So before you go to their shop, add on $500-1000 on the selling price as the price online is not the true selling price.
Their sales are also not very responsive. So take that into precaution.

The prices are false, don't buy here, when you tell the guy, he says why did the price change? He charges insurance that he put on the car throughout the year in case it was stolen, but it doesn't work for you, it comes with expenses. paperwork

These guys are absolutely fantastic! I bought a 2000 Jaguar XKR from them. They made sure that it was in great running condition, including new tires. I highly recommend getting your next vehicle from them!

Bought a 2005 Nissan Xterra. Right off the bat had an issue with fueling (prior owner would have know but dealer wouldn't as they aren't filling the tank) and couldn't find any parts to fix. Stellar went out of their way to call a parts dealer to find it for me. Low rating as when I bought the car I had a beautiful looking black paint job which on the hood has completely been ruined because it was done improperly and only held up for 3 to 4 months after I bought the car, once I put the correct cap on my radiator I ended up getting a pretty bad coolant leak compared to the minor one that was there from basically day one which was not disclosed to me, and my radio unit wasn't actually bad every single tweaker and speaker was blown so instead of replacing the radio like I always planned I had to get every single speaker replaced.

I bought a car from Stellar Auto back in March and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! I'm really loving my VW Tiguan. The car was super clean, and well maintained. It drives and runs excellent! They have great cars at great prices, but do your due diligence when purchasing a car. Oleg and Jay helped me out with my car purchase and financing went through my credit union. Super seamless and easy! I would recommend checking out their inventory. On a bonus note, there was only 1 set of keys when I bought the car, but I received two additional keys in the mail this past week so im super stoked about this ! Thanks y'all !
