Never been to this particular Shell but having read the reviews, I'll be sure to steer clear. Seems Shell really dropped the ball on training employees.

Do not go to this gas station for gas or wash...Ever!Today, January 6th, the Year of Our lord 2024, I was officially blacklisted from getting a car wash (not necessarily my fault). There was an old early 1900s Ford car that got a car wash before me a few hours ago. I paid through the digital kiosk and kindly waited my turn. When the old Ford was finished, I dutifully awaited the "Green Light" to go in. But, you see - There was no "Green Light." Instead, the prompting light kept flashing "Blue," telling me to pay. I backed out of the car wash driveway and got the attention of the lead attendant. I asked her if she can get me authorized for a car wash. She told me to go inside the store and get a refund from her assistant. And, so, I went into the store to see if I can get my wash authorized. The assistant gave me a refund. I asked again if I can get a car wash for all my troubles. The lead attendant condescendingly yelled at me "No, you're getting a refund."I said, "I don't understand. Am I blacklisted?" To which the lead attendant didn't reply and eventually told me, "No, you're not getting a car wash. Go somewhere else!"So disgusting! I'm never getting gas and car wash from this store again (as I've been blacklisted through an action NOT my fault). Instead, from here on out, I'm going to the 76 and Express Car Wash right across the intersection of Magnolia and Victoria. To all future patrons and all other fellow lifelong patrons of this stations like myself (throughout the years), steer clear of this place. That's an order!

Car wash is broken and there is no refund. Lady at the station says it’s not her problem that I paid for a car wash I couldn’t get.

The older man who works here at night (the one pictured in another person's review) is unbelievably rude and not personable at all. The machine wasn't reading credit cards properly so I had to go inside to pay. He acted like this was the biggest inconvenience he had ever seen, grumbling the whole time he had to ring me up and then making a big AUDIBLE SIGH when I asked if I could please use my rewards points as well. Dude was so put out for just having to do his job. (I was polite the whole time FYI) If the card reader machine happens to be working at the pump, then you can just go here and do self service and it'll probably be fine.

Somebody has made a little too much money over the years I guess. Gone are the days of customer service and friendly conversation. My debit card is a little bit damaged. I asked the cashier for a piece of because my strip is peeling off. I was told that I can't put my chip in his machine because it might ruin it even though it worked at Burger King and 7-Eleven a couple hours ago. He literally told me to go to 7-Eleven and buy my gas. Because he's afraid his machine will break because of a loose piece of tape on my card. Sunday night. Empty gas tank. He clearly doesn't know how to enter the numbers manually. Everyone stay away from this gas the poor man inside is too stressed out.

Date: 08/25/2023, around 10:30 PMI visited this gas station last night, and I want to share my experience. There's a communication window with a money box at waist level, but there are no holes in the glass or an intercom. The strange thing is, I couldn't hear anything at all. All the customers were bending over like fools, trying to hear something, and the attendant wasn't making any effort to be heard.I handed him $60 ($20 x 3) and said it was for $60 worth of gas. He counted it quite demonstratively. I fueled up for $30. He gave me back $20 in the money box. I explained that he was mistaken and that I should get $30 in change. He said, "You gave me $50." I insisted that it was $60, not $50. He reached to the table, took my money (3x $20 bills), and again said, "You gave me $50." I corrected him, explaining that it was $60. He remained stubborn.I started getting frustrated. He finally said, "Okay, you gave me $60, and that's it." I told him, "Give me my change then. You put in $20, but I should get $30." He responded, "No, you fueled up for $30," and showed me the receipt. I explained to him that $60 - $30 equals $30, and he reluctantly went to get the change. He took out $20 from the money box, hesitated, and went back for more. He put in two $5 bills and told me that he had given me the right change. I insisted, "You put in $10; you still owe me $20." He replied, "No, I already gave it to you." He pointed at my bag. I hadn't even reached for the money box once. At that point, I couldn't take it anymore. I started yelling across the gas station, calling him a scammer, mentioning the security cameras, and threatening to call the police. I told him that there were cameras inside and outside, and everything would be clear on the footage.Suddenly, he started saying, "Maybe it fell down, look outside." He had just pointed out that I put the money in my bag, and now he was claiming the money fell out of the box onto the street. He looked around, bent down, and exclaimed, "Oops, look, $20 fell ." He showed me the money, but he didn't give it to me. He seemed flustered and confused, holding onto the $20 bill. Then he puts these $20 into the box, but doesn't place them inside and holds onto them. I can't reach it...Shell, I've always considered you the best gas station in the world. You used to provide excellent service in Russia and sold good quality gasoline. However, this experience shattered my perception. Please conduct a thorough investigation based on the camera footage; everything will be clear.

The only person with whom you can deal does not speak or understand English. This in an area that is 99% English-speaking. Go figure! Needless to say, I did not patronize that station but drove away and found one that, had an English speaking clerk.

Terrible customer service and rude over-the-top unhappy male employee, Shaheem or something if there was a way in there actually but I am voice texting. getting fuel at the gas station I decided to get a car wash when I got done fueling there was three cars at the car wash the front one was stuck in there with the car wash person trying to get it working in the car free Front desk male shell employee 8/26 Terribly unhappy, unfriendly and WORST of all Not willing to do their job and help customers. Giving customer a refund ,in general, should be easy. Given the circumstance, this human made this a very unpleasant experience. Going in now 8/28 to get refund. Good luck to me xoxo

Horrible customer service. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. The women working there will treat you horribly when you ask a question, also they don't answer the phone. They close before they time they say. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING YOU NEED

This place employees are very impolite and also rude, it seems because of religion and attitude that they have trying to revenge. We are living in America and must respect everyone, here is not third world country. I m sorry for tell that but it’s true. I will not go to this place anymore even if the price is lower and distance is close to my home.

Attendant never knows how to resolve issues with gas pump credit card malfunctions, or how to refund a car wash charge when the car wash is broken but no notices are posted. Always have problems here so I've stopped going.

At about 8:00 pm on 4/12/2023, my new driver made an error when entering fuel rewards and payment at the pump, so called me from the car to ask why gas wasn’t pumping. The display was on the receipt option, so I thought perhaps the gas had started to flow then been cutoff, however the value pumped was $51.66, which seemed high for someone not thinking they pumped gas yet. I went inside to ask for help. The man working at the counter interrupted me as I was explaining what happened to tell me to pay inside because he could fix it. This happened twice, so I fetched my new driver who had my debit and Ralph’s cards to come inside. The man at the counter insisted that he could recover the 40c off per gallon that was due at the pump and that the $51.66 displaying at the pump was from the previous customer. When attempting to swipe the Ralph’s card, the transaction was declined and the man insisted that there were no fuel points available to use, even though we had not used them yet. When I attempted to gain clarification, he interrupted me again to reiterate that there were no rewards. It was clear that I was wasting my time trying to reach resolution because he was not going to listen to what I was asking, so I walked out and went to another local Shell station, where the fuel price was 14c less per gallon AND the pump accepted my card for 40c off per gallon.Several months ago, I was ant this same station and asked to use the restroom. NOTE: I would not choose to use a gas station restroom unless I really had to go right then as they are often unclean. I really had to go. I purchased my gas and kindly asked to borrow the restroom key. The man who was working that day told me that they didn’t have a restroom. The door has the restroom symbols on it (or it did then anyway) and I knew it was there because had used it before. If he had told me the restroom was for employees only, that would have been more acceptable than being blatantly lied to when the restroom is marked. I let it go in the moment, but having been dismissed and lied to stuck with me. After 24 years and tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars spent at this gas station, I will take my business elsewhere.

I understand gas stations don’t have to provide a restroom and I’m all for that. However, some do and that’s where I like to drop my $90 for gas. This gas station has a restroom sign outside yet they don’t let the customers use it. I asked the cashier, and explained how I felt, and I think the restroom sign should be taken down because it’s misleading. She said she knew. Figure that..
