The man at the counter was overly stoic, not very friendly. He was much friendlier to men than women, even after I tried to compliment him. After my oil change, they put a sticker in my car and didn't even fill it out. I'll attach a photo of it. I've never had a place not fill out the sticker they put in my car, I'm actually really shocked.

I had scheduled an appointment at Pep Boys on Burbank Blvd on March 25th due to recurring issues with two of my tires, which I suspected had holes. During my visit, I communicated this concern to the representatives. Initially, I was quoted a reasonable cost of around $20-$25 per tire for sealing the tires. However, upon inspection, I was informed that both tires had nails and required replacement, resulting in an unexpected expense of approximately $300. After reviewing the photos of the punctures, which were located on the tread rather than the sidewall or shoulder, it appeared feasible that they could have been adequately sealed. Nevertheless, despite my observations, the representatives insisted on the necessity of purchasing new tires. This unforeseen development left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I felt misled into investing in new tires when a more economical solution would have sufficed. Transparency and honesty could have prevented this outcome and instilled greater confidence in the representatives and services that I received, but unfortunately, that did not occur. Before my visit, I had full confidence in entrusting my vehicle to the representatives at this location. However, my recent experience has left me feeling apprehensive about future visits. To those planning to visit Pep Boys on Burbank Blvd, I strongly advise closely monitoring your vehicle during inspections if possible and asking thorough questions before any services are performed!

Worst place in America. Mechanics are terrible. Management is terrible. And they literally liars So you can repair something that isn't broken. I went for a windshield wipers inspection and I came out with out front lights. Unbelievable

Took my car in for an oil change and asked to have my brakes checked because I was driving to another state. When they called me they said I needed an oil change and all four of my brakes and rotors needed replacing, totaling $1,300. I was confident my brakes weren't that bad so I took my car home and inspected them myself, only to find that not a single brake or rotor needed replacing, confirmed by multiple other people. As a female, taking your car into a mechanic is always a cat and mouse game but they definitely take advantage of you here. Will never return, not just to this location but any Pep Boys ever again.

Don't do it!!!! Save your money and your time. I took my truck here to have a heater core replaced, which requires removing the dash board. One of the reasons I decided to go with them was that they offered a 1 year warranty on the parts and labor(for a price). When I went to pick up the truck and pay they informed me that they no longer could offer that warranty as they had to bring in an outside mechanic to do the work so they could only offer the regular 90 day parts and labor. They did the work, I picked up my truck and immediately heard a rattling under the dash, took it back they had forgotten to tighten something. There were also extra parts(screws) left in my cup holder that they had no idea where they went.Went to the gas station filled up only to find that now my gas guage was not working correctly. Called them to discuss the issue and they told me that it had nothing to do with the work they did. I explained that the guage worked when I dropped it off and they told me that it must be a coincidence and that they would not even look at it.Several days later my door locks stopped working due to a short in the wiring in the dash. I again took it back to have them try to resolve the matter. They again said it was not their fault, dismissed me and handed me a business card to a auto electrical guy but said that they were not responsible.I have owned this vehicle for 9 years and have never had any issues with it until these guys touched it.

Poor customer service. Shady manual adjusting of customer invoices to charge more.

I love my fresh set of 4 new tires! Made the ride feel so smooth. I completely forgot how it feels to turn the wheel on new tires, it's so easy.. feels like I got the car from the dealer again. Burbank location was really great, funny and kind front desk guy too. Had my car back in 1.5 hours. Going back in a month for the wheel alignment next. Thanks Pep Boys!

Romik at the Pep Boys in Burbank ( corner of Hollywood Way and Burbank Blvd ) is very helpful. I went in thinking I may need new brakes, after the inspection Romik told me that my brakes were at 50%. He also told me of an online coupon for a discount on an oil change. Super honest. Will be adding Pep Boys to my list of places to take my family's cars for service.

I had an excellent experience at this Pep Boys! I made an appointment online, and had gone in to purchase and have a new/used tire installed on my car. The service only took 45 minutes and the tire that the employee recommended for me was affordable. Highly recommend coming to this location for any vehicle repairs!

Horrible! Will NEVER go back. First off i been going here for years and every time there is always a new front desk clerk but this time whoever decide he was a great fit from the last one was mistaken his name IS ERIC. He is horrible not knowledgeable, seemed like he didn't want me there because I was interrupting his lunch. Then had the audacity to quote me 102.00 dollar oil change when every other time I have never spent more than 50 dollars. Asked me how many miles I didn't know but frankly every other time the front desk clerks has gone to my car and found out for me but this guy ERIC didn't care. No customer service what's so ever! I wish I knew the last guys name I dealt with because he was amazing very knowledgeable. ERIC is HORRIBLE. I will not be coming back to your establishment because of ERIC.

Horrible horrible don't go! I been going here for years and I just went and have the worst experience to deal with this boy named Eric. Horrible! Not knowledgeable at all. Every time in the past the front desk clerks know exactly what oil I have used in the past. This guy just tried to quote me 102.00 oil change when I never have spent more the 50 dollars. I asked him can you look at the past oil changes the other front desk guys have always let me know what to use and not to use and this guy ERIC! Did not know anything. Wouldn't trust coming here EVER again! You just lost a customer that has been coming here years because of ERIC!
