The hair service I received was excellent, but the pricing from my stylist was far from transparent and in the end I just felt scammed. It was not made clear what add-ons would cost more: (I was not asked if I wanted toner for __ more dollars, my stylist simply said she was going to apply toner). I expected to pay about 200 for highlights in my short hair and was billed 450 dollars at the end of my appointment. I was mortified but had no choice but to pay. I won’t be returning.

I've lived a few blocks from Krimson for about 10 years. I'm super leery about going into hair salons due to costs and I always feel like they never listen to me. I've cut my own hair at home my entire life. I'm 46.
I walked in to talk with someone and I immediately felt welcome. I asked about a perm and Holly came out. She asked numerous questions and asked for pictures of what I was looking for. They set me up for an appointment that next weekend. Holly again asked what I was looking for and they did such an excellent job.
The prices are good. They take excellent care of you and come back to check if everything is going good and if you're comfortable. Holly never make feel as if I was taking up seat time. The last salon I went to in Burbank really made me feel like they were waiting for the next client.
I will continue to go here. I feel like everyone there likes what they do and wanted to meet my expectations. They didn't try and push hair products in me (even though they have a wonderful selection.)
Basically, I didn't like I was a sale. I was a person.

Hi. I went to Krimson a couple of weeks ago. Good reviews etc. My regular stylist was on vacation. Just wanted a trim, some layers on the ends. This stylist (I wont name her cause she was lovely and needs to make a living). Everyone was lovely. She flipped up my ends and it looked great! Paid $110+tip for this. I normally straighten my wavy hair but I hadn't straightened it til today. And this is what it looks like. I am so confused as it looked great on the day. I've always had haircuts that look good no matter how it is cut - it's always about the cut! Straighten, flipped, wavy. But this is on a whole other level! I have great hair, very easy to cut and style so this is very, very surprising. This particular stylist told me that each stylist works independently, they rent chairs so the stylists do not represent the salon name. I would like to go back and get it fixed for free but I am very scared it will just be worse. My son had his hair done by another stylist and his seems to be working out. So my recommendation is to only go here if you have a very personal recommendation.

This salon is a cute gem in Burbank. I have been going to Susie for over 20 years now. She does amazing color and cut. I literally drive over 40 miles just so she can do my hair every other month.

Love my haircut by Kasie! She asked me what I wanted and cut just the right amount off the top like I asked. Very reasonable pricing and great location. I am definitely coming back to Krimson again!

Great place! Been going there since I moved to Cali 3 years ago. Norma has always done my hair and does a fantastic job. It just feels like family when I go there.

I've been coming here for a while to get styled by Natasha. Great vibes, almost spa-like, with a Moroccan theme (I think). Small parking lot in the back but also always street parking or in the neighborhood. Easy to book an appointment too online on their website!

I came to Kasie looking for a much-needed hair change. Not only did she exceed my expectations, but her kind and funny demeanor made my experience at Krimson even more enjoyable. She spent valuable time with me understanding my vision for my hair and she talked me through everything she was doing. My 12 year old daughter has gone to Kasie a few times and walked out loving her hair! Kasie has been kind and thoughtful when it comes to listening to what my daughter wants...her prices are good and she is very accommodating. The best hair studio in Burbank!! I have naturally curly hair and having had nightmare haircuts throughout my life, I know that if you find someone who can cut your curls the right way...you stay. Owner Amanda is literally the only one I'll see for my hair. The studio is always so clean and personally, I think..very affordable.
