H&R Block made it super easy to get my taxes done even though I procrastinate and wait until the very last minute to do them. They made a last minute appointment to drop my taxes off, and Dan got them done. Thanks Dan.

It may be hard to believe but I actually love tax season! And, no, not because I always owe (truth!), but because my Tax Preparer, "Dan", @ H&R Block on Alameda in Burbank is the best in the biz! He is professional, intelligent, efficient, kind, thorough, patient, conscientious, and funny! Dan uses giant computer monitors so you can follow along and he explains everything, inc. the option to stop him at any time if you don't understand something. Another great thing is that HRB offers a secure virtual document upload portal so the preparer can review your items in advance, thus speeding up the process once you arrive for your appt! It's a win-win! They also take 'Walk-Ins' and 'Drop-Offs' and maybe even 'Mail Ins'! (Call to confirm.) They also send you non-invasive email & phone reminders in advance of tax season which I love because I always conveniently forget. Is paying taxes painful? Yes! But, H&R Block takes the sting out. Oh, and they also mail you super-convenient, custom made HRB envelopes that are perfectly designed to gather your tax documents (with tips & reminders written right on front). What's not to love? Finally, if you owe the gov't (and who doesn't?!), HRB will process your fee straight to the IRS through their dedicated online portal which saves you time & trouble PLUS helping the environment by NOT using an envelope or expending the fuel emissions required to send a check via shipping. But, the choice is yours! I highly recommend H&R Block. They truly are your local neighborhood store! ???????

MARY SHAW. She is my savior every year- complicated taxes, w2, and 1099, and 1040, half a dozen states, investments, small business, self employed, etc....she takes all of those things and makes it so easy for me. Worth every penny, and she puts in the extra work to make sure it gets in (and I am always last-minute!). Cannot recommend her enough!
