We bought a couch at Macy's and within months, the cushions started to sink in badly. We brought them to Isabel to have them fixed and boy did she deliver!The cushions are so much better now!Can definitely recommend Gamino Decor and will be going back here ourselves in case we ever need work done on pillows or chairs!

I have had two upholstery projects handled by Isabel at Gamino Decor and they were eleven years apart from each other. In both instances Isabel intuitively understood exactly what I wanted and then made it for me. The workmanship was not just good, not just great, but perfect! "I highly recommend Gamino Upholstery! They did an amazing job on three chairs for us, including two that were extremely challenging and no one else would take on. The end result was fantastic and they showed great attention to detail. They also took special care of my wife's father's favorite chair from the 1980s, which holds sentimental value, and brought it back to life. Thank you, Isabel, for the fantastic work!"

Walked to the store to see what fabric I like to reupholster my furniture, the lady literally dumped samples and walked away while I was asking her a question.Lady, all it takes is just one google search for me to walk away to next upholstery store.

I was looking for someone to help me and I found some one who cause me to loose money!I wouldn’t recommend this people I thought that I was dealing with honest and reliable people due to the fact that is family business go to your one risk.

Called Gamino and left message. Gal called me back pretty quickly. I told her what I needed and sent photos. She said she'd call me back with an estimate and I never heard from her again. I don't chase businesses to give them my money. If they don't want new customers, just say so! I'm not sure if this was their practice prior to the pandemic but I'm noticing more and more that there is some really poor customer service happening. Since this is LA and not a small isolated mountain town...I know there are numerous choices of places to take my business. I want to do business with those that know that without customers, they won't be open very long. Good luck to this business!

Upon walking to the shop already felt unwelcome. I was greeted by a lady named Isabel who seemed having a bad day since she was on the phone talking agitated. She literally shut me down after the second question about the fabric and walked away. I stood in confusion for a minute and realizing she had no intention to come back left the store. I am glad I did, went to another store had the most pleasant lady to work with. Congratulations you just lost $500 business because of your luck of customer service.

Spoke with a lady name Isabel on the phone and explained that we need to upholster 5 counter chairs. Loaded the chairs and drove all the way to the location just to be greeted by the most rudest person ever, mind that I myself work with customers and serves is make or break deal for me. Didn't hesitate to walk out and take my service somewhere else. PS you are not only one in the business and there are multiple shops near by to have stock up attitude. By the way I am glad you lost my business, had the most professional personal to work with at the George's Upholstery.

I had a great experience here where they did the upholstery on 6 dining chair mid century style. They have a great fabric collection and the owner also helped me picking the right one. I told her I have kids and a dog and immediately she knew what was the best kind of fabric for the dining chairs. The job was very well made and done fast. My chairs look amazing!

30+ years ago, I was gifted some beautiful fabrics from a friend. I've used them over the years for various projects. One piece, I've saved, waiting for the right purpose since it was so exquisite. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give Gamino Decor. Isabelle told me she treats her clients like family and I can attest that is true! In December, our Ashley Furniture couch sprung it's springs! When Isabelle looked into it she said we were lucky it didn't catch fire! She showed me the fabric around the springs had brown spots from friction of us sitting on them. Who knew?? She was able to put new firm cushions in with no springs. It was done to perfection and in the time frame I needed to have it back. Fast forward to today, I just picked up my four reupholstered dining chairs that look stunning! Isabelle did an amazing job, beautiful craftsmanship, lovely fabric and the chairs which I bought at a consignment shop over 15 years ago, look brand new. I couldn't be happier to have found Gamino Decor, Isabelle is a treasure and I am a client for life! Thank you!!

Excellent experience all-around. From communication to care taken with my chair, not to mention patience with me picking it up after having COVID for over a month. Never once was I made to feel guilty: only wishes to get well soon, and to come in once I was recovered at my own leisure.

Once again, OUTSTANDING workmanship!! ....Isabel is an absolute treasure!! A couple years ago she expertly repaired the leather cushions of my beautiful (and very expensive) couch after my new puppy chewed the corners. I could not have been any happier with the outcome.. blew me away!! And recently, she reupholstered a dining room chair for me, using a favorite Ballard Design animal print fabric that I had. Turned out FABULOUS, and she got it back to me so quickly! I'm now taking the rest my dining room chairs to her to be reupholstered as well. I highly recommend Gamino Decor!!
