I brought my 75 year old and here, and he really took her for a ride. She had bought a used car, and rather than telling her it was a money pit, her told her there were minors leaks. After spending over $2,000 with Sarkis (the owner), he told her to take the cAr and sell it to CarMax, because there were too many issues for her to keep it. If this were the case he should have told her that prior to charging her, and taking her for a ride. In my opinion, stay away.

I've been coming here for years on the recommendation of another mechanic. Sarkis really does a great job and for fair prices. He always explains the issues and options so I can decide what's best. A good, honest mechanic is rare; I never go anywhere else and now all my friends are going too.

I lost 1400$ for basic things, Dishonest mechanic. The price he charged me was 45% more than the original quote. At the end he advised me to do more work than what was necessary, I ask him 3 times to write me down the breakdown of the work to do labor/piece.

I lost 1400$ at this place because the owner is a dishonest mechanic, with a very big experience in lies and taking advantage of situation. He will tell you your car needs a control arm bushing change, an axle change , once he had my car he was working on wheel alignment for a qoted price of 90$ then he called me to ask if i wanted a full alignment for 135$ ... Imagine my situation .. If i say no it means my wheels are not aligned? If i say yes he is ripping me off ? Thats so dishonest . I decided after having huge doubt on the owner , to bring the bill to two other shop to have an opinion .. They confirmed my doubts. This place is a big NO NO.

PRICE WILL GO UP. Price will change once they have your car. They will going to call you almost everyday with raised price for many many reasons. Trust me, it is LA. There are honest shops out there, skillful enough to tell more accurate price from the beginning.

Good little spot. But either hang out and watch what goes on, or take a few pictures before hand. Gotten my vehicle back scratched before.I was then told by *sarcus*(the owner of shop) was already there.( He did buff it out, and then talk a little bit behind my back like I was crazy) The owner and on site mechanic *sarcus* is an overall good mechanic, and person. Get's the job done right, just is a little overwhelmed sometimes, and tries to help everyone almost to a fault. Would give him five stars but he recently in stalled some electrical equipment, and scratched up the interior. Also a little fun fact they use the shop as a set in the T.V. series **Animal Kingdom**

Dropped the car to change air valves. I bought brand new rims and my old air valves didn't fit. Provided the air valves for the mechanic name Sarkis. At the beginning he said that he has problems taking the wheel off. ( I have nice, sport, big tires on my camaro ss) then he said: let me try it again. I already was hesitant, but I knew the the valve was damaged and it has to be replace. Once air was out, cannot be pumped in. I was there for 3.5h and then went to eat something. Once I returned, he said: "I did only one. I do not have time to do the second." I got close to see his work. The whole rim was scratched and he tried to cover it up by painting it. This guy did not have any intention to tell me that he damage it. I told him that I will come back with estimate for fixing it. The next day I got back. Gave him estimate. This guy was arguing with me. Saying: "I can fix it, I do better job than your people." Very nervous and unpleasant. He gave me $250 for refurbishing. The parts I gave him he destroyed. Same valves I had provided to Sarkis and he damaged them, guys from Western Tires where able to replace it and fix it. They are the best! This guy is not trust wordy, does a bad job, and overestimates his abilities.

Have been a customer for over 18 years. My 1999 Subaru still runs like a gem, and i think I owe it all to G & H. Other than the dealer, G&H has been the only repair place we have ever taken our "Sue" to. Trust them implicitly and without reservation. As good as it gets.

We have taken our BMW 545i twice to Sarkis and he will be our mechanic for all future repairs. He's extremely honest and does exactly what is needed unlike others places that try replace parts that don't to be replaced. He's very prompt inI getting back to you with a quote and reasonably priced. I highly recommend G & H for all auto repairs and maintenance.

Sarkis has been there for me with all of my vehicles. He is a great man and very honest. I have never had an issue with him or his service. It is hard to find a mechanic you can trust. When you find one, keep them. Sarkis is mine. I won't take my car anywhere else.

This was worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic. He quoted one price well knowing the scope of work. He took a day and a half longer then what he said it would take. When I went to pick up the car he gave me a different price then what was first quoted. He was complaining about the scope of work he already looked at, and he mentioned that because I brought the part to him he complained that he didn't make any money on that end of the quote. After all the drama he caused he still didn't install the part correctly, he didn't connect a house properly which caused all the transmission fluid to empty out of the car. I had to spend more money for another mechanic to do the job properly.

I came in due to a low tire pressure. I was really taken care of and was treated really well. Their prices are very reasonable and they are super friendly. I would highly recommend using them for your car repair.
