I was in an accident on the corner and a member of the staff came out and was very helpful. They have video and were happy to provide it to me. They asked if I needed anything. I have not been a customer in the past but they have earned my business going forward. they may be a bit more expensive than the stations in the area but that kind of assistance it worth it. Thank you!

This store has so much improved since the pandemic! Self-checkouts installed so we can bypass the lines that were difficult in the beginning of the pandemic. Some hot buffet items have been replaced by the packed for takeouts foods that are even better! Superb Plain Chicken Rotisserie you can add your own seasoning to and Turkey w/orange juice, olive oil and apricot preserves I haven't seen or tasted elsewhere. Prices for most foods are reasonable, some better than in local supermarkets. The atmosphere is no longer like in a sports bar but serene and quiet.

I bought a watermelon here and when I cut it open it exploded! It was basically completely sour and decomposed. The worse part was that the smell was awful to clean and I almost vomited cleaning it up. I am so disappointed considering their high prices and commitment to quality. Sorry but there has to be a way a better way for you guys to keep track of produce.

Reason I'm here writing this review. Is the excellent service I got from Antonio at the service deli. When you go to other grocery stores a lot of the people working in the deli have little enthusiasm I get it. Working service deli is ehh. But Antonio was willing to help and made a great great sandwich. God bless his soul. Thank you Whole Foods for having such great food and choices. Also got good service at the smoothie section. I forgot his name but I think it's Luis. He was a great help and made a awesome açaí bowl. Shouts out to him Thank you I will be coming back again. Loveee

Yelp censored my original review with their ridiculous guidelines. I guess they don't know what the First amendment is. They take offense at the stupidest things. I keep forgetting they're based in San Francisco...

This has become my go-to Whole Foods during pandemic coming from Bronson Canyon. Even though West Hollywood is technically closer, this location is WAAAAY better and I can actually get here faster without traffic on the freeway. If you order store pickup from Amazon, even though it says they don't do curbside that is not true. You check in when you are "on your way" and they come out to meet you in the parking lot. I'm not sure how quickly they come - I just know that I hit "on my way" when I am about 12 minutes away and they are always there waiting when I arrive. There has never been a line here as far as I can tell, and it's never too crowded inside. The aisles are wide and there is a much better selection overall (better fruits, produce, meats, etc) than some of the other Whole Foods locations (like West Hollywood).

The Service: Staff making sure social distancing at the parking lot entrance. Well organized. At self check-out kiosks, staffs are standby to help as well. The store is very clean & organized. The Food: Tried their Japanese prep food.Sushi is a little bit expensive, over $18. Need more soy sauce for sure. Mochi balls are absolutely yummy. They are chewy & soft. Lots of fillings. The Parking: Parking structure. Easy parking (free)

Came back today to pick up a specific product. When I called to see if it was in stock I spoke to Rob. He was really nice and helpful. He went to check the shelf to see if what I wanted was there...and it was :-) yay! (clap clap clap) I asked of he could hold some aside for me and he did. I was coming from Porter Ranch area so that was nice that he did that. Thank you Rob! So far the staff that I've encountered here have been nice. I like this location :-)

This Whole Foods deserves more than 5 stars strictly for their meat department and their vitamin department!! My friend and I visited this location to do some grocery shopping and I really wanted salmon. I wanted to be healthy and needed something marinated. Fiona or Flora (I'm not exactly sure how her name was spelled) went out of her way to walk me over steps to marinate my salmon and helped me buy everything i needed. She even wrote down all the steps for me to make my fish taste AMAZING! We also went to the vitamin section because my best friend needed some vitamins for her mom and this young armenian guy (didn't get his name) was SOOOO helpful. He knew all of his information and made sure to provide us with his time effectively. Will definitely be back just because of these two individuals!! I love Whole Foods

This is my go to Whole Foods even though I live in Glendale. I believe they opened about a year ago. The parking is two stories so I never have to wait to park my car. Security is always walking around and the staff is super friendly.

This is one of the nicest Whole Foods I have ever been too but that doesn't matter if the customer service is not good. I went to get a sandwich and the gentleman helping me out (Dana) at the sandwich bar had an attitude. I asked him for olive ciabatta and his response was "nah we don't carry that here". I asked for a pastrami sandwich and he didn't even ask if I wanted it hot/cold, then when I tell him he gives a sigh. I asked him if he was new here and he just walked away. The only thing I wanted was the sandwich and he just killed the mood for me with his poor attitude.

There are two female dark-haired cashiers today around noon, I had to be the recipient of their unhappy treatment twice on different occasions before, and they're rude and dismissive. Once, it might be a terribly bad, sad day. Twice, I'd say they have arrogant personalities and it's normal behavior for them. Not sure why they're employed here, which means WF is enabling their behavior. Doesn't belong in a upscale shopping environment. Next time, I'll submit their names to the manager and ask for their dismissal. Hiring practices seem all over the board. The remainder of their employees is comparable to other grocery stores. The guy manning the pizza section is awesome. It's puzzling to me how Trader Joe's consistently has such friendly, make-you-feel-at-home staff. Amazon needs to learn from the TJ HR department. Later.... Replying to the customer care comment below, I will advise upon my next visit to the Alameda WF to see if an overall improvement with said cashiers has developed. An improvement would be: acknowledgement that customer has stepped up to the counter instead of ignoring him (or her, when I see it happen to my GF). Doesn't have to be a pasted-on smile or corporate inspired greeting, eye contact or a nod would do. Then, instead of a tired sigh when I ask to submit my Prime phone #, pushing me to "use the app", (why not say "Sure!, you're the customer, what's the phone number?") Then, when she finally acquiesces that I can indeed use my ph# with a frown, she looks absolutely shocked that my ph# registers and gives me the discount. Crazy thing is she did this the last time as well. That'd be a start. Take note that there was no line in the parking lot. 5 or 6 carts waiting in line for check out. WF was lightly populated.

I literally just created a yelp for this experience..While leaving whole foods last week, I went onto the escalator with my shopping cart, as I was slowly coming down the escalator ... all of sudden the cart became loose from the magnetic grip of the escalator and started flying down ... As it was about to tilt over , I reached out to grab the cart before it was to late and it gripped to the moving floor again, and slammed down hard on my foot! ...I looked around and saw one of the employees wiping down the carts looking at me and the security guard just staring at me...I said.. wow wtheck did you see that?! it crushed my foot..security guard said yeah that happens sometimes.. .. I took my shoe off to see if I was bleeding and I literally limped back to my car ..Not one employee came and checked on me.. I sat in my car for 15 mins.. called the store , spoke to a manager - he said he'd check the video and call me back.. not even apologetic about it , haven't heard from him at all.. even called the store twice asked to speak to a manager regarding this and , left a number ..Really unprofessional .. wouldn't think a market like this cares so little about the well being of frequent and good customers..Be careful on that escalator , very sketch and obviously management doesn't care much of what happens if you get hurt due to malfunction.

During these trying times it's nice to see some people remain so positive. We were almost to the front of the line to enter the store today and we were greated warmly by Moe. Poor Moe was then verbally harassed by a woman who was very cranky about waiting in line. Moe handled the interaction with grace and kindness. Even though she refused to listen he patiently explained to her the process of letting people in. Five stars for exceptional employees like Moe.
