I honestly have so much fun going to my appointments with Dr Ella. She's great to chat with, is practical and down to earth, and helps me find the perfect glasses to make sure I love them. I really appreciate the attention and care she gives me every visit I have with her!Yes, she utilizes texts over call which was odd at first but knowing that's how she communicates, it works great for me!

Dr. Ella is hands down the best optometrist I've ever had!! Starting off, her office is a cute, small space and great for 1-on-1 interaction. Texting her to schedule an appointment was also quick and easy. Masks on, which I also appreciated.She walked me through every test and procedure even though I've done it all before, but she was extremely communicative not only about what the test measured but also why, and how that related to the health of my own eyes - something I've never considered before. My typical experience is a routine eye exam with the doctor just telling me what to do and not explaining anything they found. I've never had a doctor take the time to explain things like eye dominance, eye shape differences, and even gauging aspects of my body's health by looking at my eyes. I'm of the mindset that the more knowledge I have, the better. I realized that, having worn glasses for over 20 years, my ability to see is something I tend to take for granted, and I have a new appreciation for optometrists now!Additionally, Dr. Ella has GREAT customer service and was so easy to chat with. She carefully selected SO many frames for me to try on based on what I was looking for and never pushed me towards the more expensive ones, just stressing that the fit and joy I had wearing it should be the deciding factors. She let me try on the glasses outside without masks so that I could see how the glasses looked on me, and held the mirror up for me while I did so (because I couldn't see without prescription). She is so genuine, patient, and upfront about every part of the process, from the exam to choosing glasses to payment. Also a very kind and sweet person!! I want to tell all my friends (glasses and non-glasses wearing) to go to her :) Thank you, Dr. Ella!!

When I reached out to make an eye exam appointment through text (which I LOVE) I got a response quickly and an appointment two days later. I appreciate communicating through text and found the exchange friendly. It turns out that it was Dr. Harootoonian I was texting with! I had just assumed I had been texting with a receptionist. I like that she's hands-on in all aspects of her business.Today was my exam and I have to say it was such a positive experience from the moment I walked through her door! Dr. Harootoonian is very knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, patient, and has all modern equipment (goodbye air puff to the eye!). I never felt pressured into buying anything and I appreciated that she was conscientious about the different price points on the glasses we looked at. I say we because she took another 30 minutes after my exam to let me try on a ton of different styles and offered opinions and suggestions. Again, I never felt pressured to buy anything during my visit and that's awesome since a lot of optometry businesses do try and strong-arm you into buying glasses from them.Finally, I just have to say how nice it was to chat with her. Dr. Harootoonian is very down to earth and real. Looks like I've got a new optometrist for life!
