Extremely disappointed with this place. Inaccurate, expensive, unprofessional and sloppy. I recently ordered 3 different doors for our office, several weeks apart from each other. Door #1 I ordered door #1. Douglas fir, unfinished, 30" x 80" with 5 clear windows, pre-hung with paint-ready jambs, with a left hand in-swing. It arrived weeks late, but was correct, with no other issues. Door #2 I ordered door #2 on another visit. Douglas fir, unfinished. 30" x 80" with 5, frosted windows, pre-hung with paint-ready jambs, with a right hand in-swing. -The door arrived weeks late -I was not alerted that it had arrived, rather, I had to keep calling them for weeks, until they finally confirmed it. -The swing on the door was wrong -The shop agreed to pickup the door to fix the swing. I asked if the pickup could be done during business hours, I was told no. -I had to come down to the office in the middle of the day on a Saturday for the pickup, shooting my weekend to hell. -They picked up the door to fix the swing. I was told 4-6 days to fix the swing. -After 13 days, I'd received no updates of any kind. I texted back to check the status, and was told the following Friday or Monday it would be delivered. -Day 17 Monday, I get a text message saying the door's ready. He'll get back to me with delivery date. Likely on Wednesday. -Day 19. Thursday, Radio silence. No updates on delivery. -Day 24. The door is finally delivered. 3 weeks after promised, for a problem they caused. -It took several MONTHS to purchase this simple door and get the correct version delivered. Door #3 I ordered door #3 just a few days after originally ordering door #2. Douglas fir, unfinished. 42" x 80" with no windows, pre-hung with paint-ready jambs, with a right-hand out-swing. -The door that arrived was perfect in all ways, except it was 30" wide, not 42" wide. -I swear I gave the correct specs, however the door matched the written order, which I had not verified. My bad for not checking it...though I could still *swear* I gave the correct dimensions verbally. -I asked if they could give me any credit for this pristine, new, $500+ slab door that I couldn't use. Perhaps they could sell it to another customer for a discount? Nope. They couldn't give me any credit for a brand-new, unused door. WTF? -They said they'd give me 5% discount on my re-order. Door #3 Re-Order -I told them I wanted an estimate for a re-ordered door. I said I wanted everything exactly the same as the previous order, but that the width needed to be 42" wide instead of 30" wide. That was the only change. -They texted me an estimate for a replacement door with 5 windows (wrong), white laminate (nope), with a right hand in-swing (wrong). -This botched estimate gave me ZERO confidence in their competence, and further convinced me that they had indeed written the original order for this door wrong, and cost me huge construction delays and over $500 for a door I couldn't use. -To make matters even more hilarious, the estimate for this re-order door was 4x the cost of the original door. Over $2,200!!! Even including their 5% discount. -Reading other reviews here, I can see I'm not the only one whose gotten dinged with a bad order by these folks. No mas. -I made a quick call to another local door company, whose quote was accurate and was very clear about the dimensions, swing, delivery date, etc. This new estimate was less than half what the "discount" price was from Door & Moulding. Enough said. I went with the new guys. Before posting on Yelp, I went to Door & Mouldings company website and filled out a form for someone to contact me. [crickets chirping] That was weeks ago. Just like the rest of their customer service...crappy. I'll never use these folks again on any future construction projects. And you can bet your boots that all of my construction friends are going to hear about this too.
