I dropped of my printer to have a hinge repaired. I was told it would cost about 150.00 and that would include a tune up and cleaning. A friend told me that was steep especially when the part only costs 20 bucks and would take a few minutes to repair. So I inquired about their labor charges and they said it was 115 bucks per hour. I'm not saying they were trying to rip me off, but I got the hinge online for $10.00 -$21.00 including shipping and I fixed the printer MYSELF in ten minutes, and I'm far from a technician. Also, when I went to pick my printer up, there was no one there to help me, but an employee did see me through a glass window, but he never acknowledge me, never even gave me a finger in the air-univerasal sign for ONE SEC PLEASE. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. And I'm not saying any of this because I'm disgruntled, I'm actually glad that I did my own investigation and didn't give in to their outrageous quote. ANd if you decide to go in anyway, check their certificates on the left wall, as I waited for them to bring my printer I had a lot of time to read them. I found one that expired August 2010.

I would be very careful using this company. I took a printer to them for repair and not only did it not get repaired, but after six attempts they told me it couldn't be fixed. Over $200 was spent to be told they couldn't fix my printer! They will require money up-front, which isn't unusual, but the lack of knowledge of their technicians is astounding, so it's lost money. When I went to pick up the "fixed" printer the first time, I asked what the problem was with the printer. "Oh it just needed one of our technician's magic touch" was the answer. Of course, a day later I was returning it to be fixed because there were now additional problems with the printer and the original problem HAD NOT been fixed! After five more attempts at trying to get it fixed, they wore me out. After several months, I had the printer checked by a different company and they fixed it in 20 minutes! You will be charged for their incompetence, so consider yourself warned!

I agree with the previous poster. While I was waiting to pick up my computer, everyone in the waiting room seemed to be disgruntled. They also were forgetting to give back all the items people dropped off. One person had to wait 15 minutes for them to find her power cord. The people working here did not seem genuinely interested in giving proper customer service. Their operation was a little on the laxidazical side. They did not properly fix my machine correctly, in which, I had to go elswere to have the work done.

I originally reviewed Computer Works Technologies based on an experience I had with a sales person there, which was not great. Since this occurred the business has taken great steps to go out of their way and make sure they corrected the matter for me, and thus changed my mind about the company. They fixed my expensive Epson printer free of charge, and have proven themselves an honorable company. I have great respect for Mike who is not only a nice guy, but a smart businessman. I truly appreciate the work CWT has put into remedying the original negative situation, and resolving the issue with my printer. I can finally get my artwork printed again. Yay! Thanks again Mike-- much appreciated.
