My partner and I love World Market. Dawn and her team, *special shoutout to Justin for going above and beyond to help customers and his team*; they all really helped us with the purchase and loading of some key furniture pieces for our new move. Moving can be stressful and the Burbank team understands what customer service means. We will be back!

This lady Maryanne, right when she saw me walk in. Profiled me. She followed me around. Called security on the loud speaker to the Gourmet section I was heading to. Some people believe in karma & are good people. Just because you see me with tattoos & a big purse. That doesn't mean I'm a thief. Awful. I assured to show her how I was harmless by taking a cart from her & putting my bag in it. I even went to the front checker, whom was sweet, Danielle. Showed her my bag. It was off-putting. Didn't make me want to buy anything. I love World Market. Unfortunate that some people just don't have the instincts to judge a character by how they smile or feel. Than the appearance you've become the judge of.

You can't find anyone on the sales floor to help you out , and then when you go to find help at the registers it makes you wonder how someone so slow could have a job and I dont mean speed wise ... had to explain 7 times if I could by a product they had on the floor and it was like I was speaking French to her. So clueless , how does she have a job or survive is beyond me .

My sister and I came to world Market this morning and in a matter of 5 minutes we were followed/stared at. The regional manger was one of them. I watched from another aisle while another associate stared at my sister shop. That’s when I realized it was time to go. Nicole and the person with the short chopped up haircut just brushed it off like they weren’t following us. Don’t come if you’re a person of color/black. They will gaslight you. I’m highly upset and was made to feel very uncomfortable. BEWARE!!!!!!!

I was visiting the Burbank area this morning and decided to go into the store. Upon returning home I realized I was double charge for an item. I called the store and spoke with an Associate named Sophia explained to her the situation and she bluntly said, "we can't help you out over the phone." I understand it wasn't her fault or mine, but she had no manners whatsoever or even apologetic about the situation. I asked to speak to her superior and her response to me was, " she's shaking her head no to me." When I asked her again may I please speak to her she then responded, " you can begin speaking she's listening." I was so flabbergasted on how they treat customers over the phone. In all the years I've shopped at multiple world markets I've never been treated so poorly. Finally the manager named Dawn spoke to me I explained to her the situation and she assured me if I take my receipt to a different location they would be able to help me with a refund. I asked her if she needed to notate anything on her system or the transaction note. She just responded with no and hung up. Just with this interaction alone I will never be visiting the Burbank location.

Love this store! Employees are helpful and friendly! Easy to find parking since it's part of the Burbank Mall. They carry so manny unique items and really good teas!

World Market is a fun store to visit! They have such a large selection of merchandise to just browse! They have the most interesting foods, knick knacks, plant and home accessories from around the world. They even have apparel! I usually find something to purchase! Check it out!The store is huge and spacious! And the staff is very friendly!

Just finished shopping at the best World market all around, as you know products sold here are from different parts of the country. The fantastic selection and equally important is the customer service..OMG Dalia was amazing, very compassionate, was determined to find what I was looking for simply amazing also There was another employee there that helped me with my vanilla syrup selection, very helpful great attitude and may I add very beautiful. Not that that matters to anyone just wanted to add that as compliment. Joe
