Unlike many other Korean hair salons, Queens Hair is different because the master stylist does an amazing job leading her team and giving every client a warm experience. Usually you walk into a salon, find your stylist, and everyone else is just minding their own business. Inside it's not the Ritz-Carlton but it's neat, comfortable, and very clean. But the haircuts are TOP NOTCH! From the shampoo scalp massage experience to the gentle blowdrying, and the way she takes her time and is hyper focused on you, my goodness this place is a freaking hidden gem. I wish she would open a salon in LA too she would do incredibly well but she is only one person. Absolutely worth going to her where ever you are. My hair grows out beautifully every time. Even when I'm out of state I wait until I get back to SoCal to only have her cut my hair. Yes she is that good!

I mean, Shelly! She is THE most skillful hairstylist with a taste of style I’ve met in Orange County in 7 years. I first cut my bang and liked it so much that I came back for beach wavy perm that blown me away(and a few moms who I encountered in playgrounds). Can’t recommend her enough!!! ?

I came here with my partner's mom to get my first ever perm. I have pretty typical male Asian hair: thick, straight, and not very pliable. I've tried different stylists and products, but have never been super happy with how to present my hair. My stylist did a fantastic job with contouring my hair to curl the top (so that it wouldn't just stick straight) and down-perming my sides to prevent an unflattering mushroom/bowl effect. She then provided me a helpful idea/schedule of how often I should come back for a trim, and how often I'd want to get another perm. I feel like I've unlocked a new level of confidence thanks to the fantastic job she did with my hair. I will definitely come back!

Ok, I am very picky when it comes to my hair. I was looking for a premium Korean salon quality perm and cut that doesn't damage your hair and is natural-looking. Shelly absolutely nailed it and I was asked where I got my hair done everywhere(especially in playgrounds by moms). I can't recommend her enough but at the same time, I don't want her getting too popular so it'd be hard for me to get a reservation Honestly though, if you are looking for a korean hair stylist, I personally think Shelly is THE best!

I had the privilege to have Megan work on my hair, and she is extremely talented and very thoughtful. She is also super nice and went the extra miles to help me obtain the look I've wanted with guaranteed satisfaction at the end. Will be coming back to her again!

I wouldn't recommend coming in for a men's perm since they unfortunately didn't follow several of the instructions I gave them. I provided the person doing my hair several reference photos that clearly showed the length I wanted. I made points on how I would like to keep the front long enough for the hair to be just below my eyes but it ended up being above my eyebrows. She asked if I wanted my ear to be shown or covered and although I told her I would like it covered, it ended up being shown. She also cut my hair before the perm which confused me. With my past experiences, my hair would be cut after the perm as a way of adjusting to the wanted look. It almost felt as if the woman was styling my hair the way she wanted. I came in with my hair being fairly long with the intention of it not being cut too short but it is a shame that plans did not go accordingly. The workers are nice people and they are very welcoming but it's unfortunate that my experience did not go as well.

Had a great experience with Shelly - she speaks English and as someone who doesn't speak Korean - she may have been my only option. But she really delivered! She listened to what I wanted and used her professional experience to fill in the gaps and make recommendations that really worked for me! My regular perm and haircut cost $150 pre-tip and they even gave me this styling product free. Like where can you find this kind of price and quality of service nowadays in a Korean salon? I think only at Queen's Hair

I got my hair done by Shelly for the 7th time here and it was amazing. Every aspects were professional and smooth. She was so kind with explaining tips and techniques of taking good care of my hair. Recommend it to everyone to take the cut from Shelly!

I went to a hair care salon here, and the people working were all friendly and good at their work, and I liked it. The person who takes care of my scalp has been in the neighborhood for a long time, so many people told me to go to this place because they were good at it, so I went there, and maybe because they have a lot of experience, they did a good job that was different from other places. I thought I should introduce it to other acquaintances. I made a reservation for the next time.

I was thinking of getting a haircut and my coworker referred me Queen's Hair(Shelly). I sent her pictures of what I want my hair to be, and she made it look very nice! I think this will be my new go-to hair salon :)
