Being that I am super paranoid of hair stylists cutting my hair too short. I made a great decision in booking with Wwoogie! He made me feel heard, yet still created the vision he had for my hair while staying within my comfort zone. I was initially skeptical since my hair is very thick, curly, and long. Wwoogie proved to be highly adept with any hair type! He got the color exactly as I wanted it and cut my hair better than I had envisioned. Highly recommend him! I know i will definitely be back.

Men's Haircut & Perm: Pro: Woogie did a good job with the cut and made the perm look very natural. Also, shout out to the person who washed my hair! Very gentle and nice (didn't catch his name). Con: Very quick and rough with my hair, head, and ears (in an unpleasant way). I realized on my way out that my helix earring had been knocked out during the haircut. They found the backing, but lost my jewelry. I left my phone number, but I have not received any follow up, nor have they taken responsibility in any way. Consultation Experience: Pro: ... Con: I was expecting more insight and feedback from Woogie based on reviews I read, but he did not say much and seemed annoyed. Possibly due to English not being his preferred language?

wwoogie is amazing! He knew exactly how to cut my hair and styled it beautifully. I really appreciated how he shared his expertise on the style I wanted and what he thought would compliment my face. My hair still looks good even as it is growing out. I won't trust anyone else to cut my hair anymore!

I came here today (June 9th) for a haircut and had called for an appointment at 5:00 pm. I came in about ten minutes early and waited. I got my hair washed around 5:05 and they forgot about me, and I wasn't seen until 5:40. I showed the stylist four pictures of a similar hairstyle. She looked at them and asked me a few questions, and I answered. This lady did not know how to cut men's hair and proceeded to give me a bow cut style set of bags and completely ruined the part in my hair. I was extremely frustrated with the entire process and asked her to stop cutting. This was not my first time here and I'm pretty sure it'll be my last. For a $50 haircut, I expect someone to actually know how to cut men's hair. I also felt completely disrespected because she made no attempt to apologize or even fix what I asked her to.

LOVE MARIE !!! I came in with an inspo picture and she matched the color to the tea. She is super friendly and a fun person to chat with! The whole team at Jeunesse is lovely & the music taste is pristine (throwback pop & k-pop). Must go !!

first time at this salon with wwoogie! he really pays attention to the haircut you want and will make suggestions throughout the process depending on the state of your hair. would love to go back to get another cut from him when i'm in the area!

I wanted to get a mullet perm(more on the curly side) both people working on me acknowledged that this service would be provided. They confirmed that It could be done and I asked for confirmation several times. (Through the phone, at the front desk, and even on the chair multiple times). I had shown reference photos too. The lady (one of the older ones) quickly glanced at the photo and said okay. Before I could even get a breath in to speak, the back of my head was shaved off. I also wanted my hair to land at my eyebrows post-perm like the reference photos, but she also took too much off(currently it is sitting above my eyebrows). I expected to get some hair trimmed off but she took too much off. Getting into perming my hair it did not turn out how the reference photos were. I currently have wavy hair and it is nowhere near being curly. Both hair stylists' looks were not comforting too as in (oh I messed up). I was genuinely upset afterward. Left this establishment with a mop and a bowl hybrid at the end. The environment in there is okay at best just modern. But music is good. Along with this they had quoted me $120 on the phone but charged me $150. I believe if you want something specific they cannot do it. But if you want something standard such as wavy hair with a down perm they could do that.

5/5 Had a hair cut with Wwoogie after looking through some Reddit posts for someone who can handle Asian hair and contemporary hair cuts for women. He gave me real feedback on the hair cut I wanted me - that it wouldn't look like I wanted because the texture and thickness of my hair - and I appreciate a hair stylist that can give me feedback like that. He ended up giving me long layers and keeping the length of hair I wanted - not an inch shorter (which several hair stylists tend to do...). He's experienced and I feel comfortable going back to him in the future. The -1 star comes from the salon itself. The music is blasting inside and feels a bit like a club. At one point, I had to take out my ear plugs (disclaimer: I am sensitive to loud noises and the electric music with bass playing at a louder than average level did not help ). The space inside is on the smaller side and a bit cramped so the center waiting area had several people bumping into me. tldr: Wwoogie is good, especially for contemporary and asian hair styles, but hair salon vibes are very loud and busy.

This was my second time getting my haircut by Wwoogie and I love it! The way he cuts it is very meticulous. I love the way it looks as it's growing out too which is why I came back~ I added a conditioning treatment this time and I would recommend it! My hair had been so dry lately, but it looks and feels amazing~

Amy did my hair and they are very busy on the weekends, but they were able to get me in for an early afternoon appointment. I called to schedule just the Friday before and they accommodated me. I have very thick hair and she did a really nice layered haircut and style. Will definitely be going back again but will for sure call much earlier to schedule.

This review is long overdue for Wwoogie, but he really is the best when it comes to hair. As a guy, I've been to many salons over the years and Wwoogie is without a doubt the best hairstylist I've ever been to. I'm super picky about my hair and constantly trying new things because I have naturally straight hair that you can't do much with without styling. From new styles, perms, and even bleaching my hair, Wwoogie has really helped to accommodate every style that I've asked for in a way that really complements my appearance and also provides really helpful recommendations and suggestions on what would fit best. He also really takes his time even when he's super busy and makes sure to get everything right which I really appreciate. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fresh look or wanting to try something different. Also, all the staff are super friendly and really take care of you even when it's crowded!

Special shoutout to Jaime! I called in today last minute because I was getting sick and tired of my hair, and I got in anyway. Jaime was very skilled and knowledgeable; she definitely knows what she's doing. I showed her the hairstyle I wanted, and she copied it so well. I was so impressed. I also liked my color too; I had a lot of compliments on my hair. I would definitely come back. Woogie washed my hair, and I enjoyed the massage . The salon had great taste in music, and it was very bright inside. I really liked the vibe.

Marie washed, cut and styled my hair all within 35 minutes She did a great job and was very friendly My hair was uneven and she listened to what I wanted, my hair looked so much healthier when I left! 10/10 would recommend her :)
