You may hire Harry and his team if you are OK to have splits, fissures, and cracks on your simple & basic pavers floor in patio; a little later 2 years of installation. Pavers is designed to last a lifetime or last for decades, they may develop cracks at some point, but shouldn't be happened two years later if properly installed. We hired Harry & his team after talking to him & confirmed his company was licensed as advertised. Harry seemed a professional & knowledgeable at that time (8/2018). In Jan 2021, we contacted Harry after we noticed more than multiples splits, fissures, & cracks on pavers floor. Harry's initial response was repairing them ourself by purchasing a 50 lbs bag of joint sand, spreading it over gaps and spraying water over. He did let us know that when the rain poured down too often (in the OC? Seriously?), cracking happens and unavoidable but it is not a major problem. Harry also advised us to compare our cracked pavers to the common community areas pavers floor because our cracked (pavers) gaps are really not that bad. After we asked Harry to stop by when he can to help/teach us how to repair those gaps before pavers shift or gaps get bigger & deeper. Harry completely stopped responding our calls, texts; what a bummer, shame, unprofessional, disrespectful guy! Recently, I found out that many reputable contractors offer to guarantee their work for at least two years, preferably five. Also, the paver and wall installation industry even recommends that contractors guarantee their work for at least two years. Pls, know that the GreenCali warranty is 6 months from installation.

Harry and his teams transformed my plain front yard to a new look with so much curb appeal. The team worked everyday and finished the project as promised. Very happy with the result and the cost is reasonable. Highly recommended.

I hired Harry and his team for our backyard remodel project after talking to him and he seems like honest guy and knowledgeable of concrete. I was wrong. On the day the concrete was planning to pour, it was raining like crazy. I told him to wait for a few days until the rain has stopped, but he didn't listen to me and rush through the pouring concrete process.A few days later, I have noticed discoloration on my concrete and voiced my concern to him. He reassured me my concrete will be dry and will be the same color in a few months. I waited for 6 months and 1 year but my concrete discoloration is still there. Not to mention there are concrete cracks too. I contacted him recently and show him his work. He told me he has no idea how is this happened and he will talk to his guys. 1 week passed by, nothing heard back from him. I followed up with him and he still couldn't tell me what his guys did wrong. He wanted to charge me $2k to paint my whole concrete to fix discoloration after I paid him almost $30k on this project. Harry lack of knowledge, lack of integrity and cutting corner manner is very despicable. To this day I am so disgusted and embarrassed by my concrete that I would not even bother to invite friends over.I would not hire him for any of future projects and I would recommend others to careful and not fall by his talk or his endless pictures of his works...

Harry and his crew did a fantastic job with our backyard. Even after the job was done, he would come back to make sure all the sprinkler system, grass, and lighting was working. He's a very hard working guy. Oversees the entire project, day in and day out, with his crew. Thanks Harry, we'll definitely keep in touch and recommend you to others

Just got my hardscaping, lighting, gas lines, irrigation, etc done with GreenCali and I am very happy. We purchased a new home and the backyard was dirt for months. Harry has been communicative and patient throughout the whole process. I got quotes from a couple of other landscapers. Some were more expensive, not informational, and some disappeared on us! Very interesting that companies just do not care about getting your business. Harry is very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all my questions. Harry is great and really listens and works with you on your budget and needs. The workers showed up everyday to work on the backyard. My backyard looks great! See the picts that I posted. I am waiting for the approval from HOA for the plants. Harry and his crew will be back to do the planting after HOA approves. I would definitely recommend GreenCali for your next landscape project. THANK YOU HARRY!! HAPPY LANDSCAPING!

Whoever answered the phone immediately sent the message that he wasn't interested in helping me. When he answered, he didn't say the business name, just a flat hello, followed by a long gap in silence. I asked if this was green Cali and he said ya, then nothing. I explained I needed general yard work help but I could barely understand him. He rushed me off the phone and hung up. Maybe I got him on a bad or busy day, but that was a poor example of business phone etiquette.

Just finished a backyard and driveway project with GreenCali. Great job guys! Harry is straightforward and honest. He gives suggestions on what he thinks is best and cost-efficient. Finished their work on time, cleaned up at the end of the project and picked up all the debris that needs to get thrown away. Gerry is a good Foreman making sure to consult with us before he makes any changes. All workers are well-mannered and hardworking. Great overall experience and would definitely use them again in future projects!

We hired Harry for our landscape remodeling project. To say the least, our experience had been very negative from A to Z. In a nut shell, it started out with a very sloppy demolition phase that they seemed to lack the required equipment and tools (they were going at it with sledgehammers). In spite of my repeated requests for them to be careful, they managed to cause undue damage. His crew is very inefficient and they have no respect for property of their clients as we found our BBQ pizza stone being used as a weight for sustaining a bender board stake without our permission. He insisted on using a fill material of dubious origin weeks before it was even needed falsely claiming that it was difficult to get the quantities required. We negotiated with him trusting that he will execute the tasks to the acceptable industry standards, only to find out he is all about taking short cuts and poor quality.

Harry Kim and his crew did an outstanding job transforming our front and back yard. Every morning Harry came to our house, answered our questions and informed us about the work to be expected each day. He promptly answered each phone call and text message. During the work process we added some landscaping items and we are thankful for Harry's ideas and input. He patiently helped us to come up with a great design. Harry started and finished the work on time. We are very happy with the outcome!

Absolute pleasure working with Harry and his crew. I thought the pricing was fair, and the finished product was amazing! Everything finished on time and he was even flexible to the changes I wanted throughout the process. Highly recommended as will use him again in the future...

Harry quoted my landscape project and started the work within a week. His quote was verbal. I was uncomfortable with a verbal quote so he wrote one on some blank paper and signed it. I wanted to be sure he did what I wanted and it did work out that way. His crew worked for 4 consecutive days except Sunday and finished the job in a timely fashion. Harry's cost was reasonable. There were no surprises. Harry was organized and the job went smoothly. He provided good paperwork at the conclusion for me to use for a rebate from the water district.

Greencali did a great job with our small yard (landscape, hardscape, irrigation, lighting). Harry communicates well, is punctual, responsive, and very thoughtful in his design suggestions and pricing. He was mindful of our design aesthetic and our low maintenance, low water usage preferences when drawing up our plans for our HOA. He and his foreman work one job at a time so he is able to oversee the job site to make sure everything goes according to plan.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!! I've had different contractors do different jobs at my house over the years and I could say that this company is the WORST! The owner, Harry Kim, is very rude and unprofessional. He insists on doing the job without the necessary permits from the city because he wants to do short cuts even if they do not meet code requirements. If there are problems encountered, he tries to blame it on you and tries to add on additional charges to the original contract. In my case, there was a power outage during 1 of the days his crew was scheduled to work. He tried to charge me later on for that day that he "lost". As if I have control over Southern California Edison?!!! He also tried to charge me for another extra day for hauling the construction debris. He already knew when he accepted the job that our community's HOA requires that no construction materials be left on the street, so Harry's crew had to clean up and haul all debris at the end of the day. Upon completion of the project, he asked me for more money because according to him, it cost him a extra day to haul the trash. He said it would have been easier if all the trash were collected at the end of the project. Why didn't he tell me this beforehand??? He also tried to add more charges to little things that should have been included in the contract. I had my backyard covered with cement. I'm pretty sure all honest contractors will include drainage in their quotes (who wants a paved but flooded backyard?!!). But not Harry. He waited until the 3rd day to tell me, "Oh by the way, we're gonna need to put drains or else your backyard will get flooded when it rains. And that's not included in the quote I gave you." I was so glad when the project finally got finished, so I could tell him what a scam he was. So please save yourself from a huge headache and stay away from this company and from its owner HARRY KIM.

We used Harry and his team for our back yard hardscape and landscape. His prices are very reasonable and he finished everything on time. He helped out with any problems and gave his recommendations and other ideas. We renovated our whole house last year and he was he only vendor that finished on time and stayed true to his price. I definitely recommend Greencalica.

GreenCali did a complete remodel of our front and back yard that exceeded our expectations. They replaced the driveway, added a walkway in the front, built a tiled patio, new patio cover, seating area, gates, water feature, sod, plants and irrigation. After talking to four other contractors, GreenCali was the only one willing to work within my budget. Harry provided a very clear quote with line item pricing. Harry met every timeline and commitment he made. He was on the job site everyday and kept us informed as to what would be done each day. We had the the same crew on the job every day. His crew was very professional and highly skilled. We provided a basic drawing of what we wanted but Harry and his team made several significant improvements to it. The only criticism I can make is that Harry does not work with drawings and minimal material samples. To some extent, you need to trust that he will be doing good work and paying attention to detail. The good news is that he came through in both quality design and good craftsmanship. Again, the outcome exceeded expectations. Rather than just getting a decent yard within our budget, we have truly beautiful front and back yards. I recommend GreenCali.
