Would have loved to give this place 5 stars but the attendant left wax paper all over my candy apple. I was unable to enjoy the sweet treat.

Kara your employee is very nice! Yes they give samples, we got Rocky Road, strawberry shortcake fudge. If you buy four pieces you get two free!

staff is friendly, variety of candy, price is somewhat reasonable, candy needs to be rotated. I know when candy is stale (worked at sees candies for 13 years during high school and college).

The options were unbelievable. Some of the items were freshly made, and unfortunately I wasn't able to try them since I didn't have enough cash for the item & that there wasn't really a cash to card machine close by, but they smelled good. (Just take my word for it) I say a 4 since the prices aren't really that good and there isn't really a machine closeby, from what I remember. Knott's, if possible, install more cash to card machines at convenient places so none of us have to walk that far!

Of all the shootouts in the Ol' West, none were more memorable, none were more historic, than the Calico fudge shootout of 2021. Purveyor of freshly-made fudge & fudge-dipped products, Ghost Town Candy Store caters to all types of sweet tooth. Bulk candy, taffy & freshly glazed nuts (pecan, cashew, almond) available, too. Fudge-dipped items are apples (caramel being another option), marshmallows, Oreos & licorice. Being a s***** for fudge, I couldn't help myself and not order a piece. Regular fudge is $4+, Special fudge $5. Ghost Town Candy Store has a great deal of "Buy 4/Get 2 free", for those looking for more. After a thorough deliberation, I went with the Special "Rocky Road" fudge. It was delightful. Dense, creamy fudge, with marshmallows & nuts interspersed throughout. Oh yeah! Service was good. The staff was friendly & swift with recommendations. The entire Knott's theme park is cashless (aside from parking). Ghost Town Candy Store is located across Calico Saloon. I must say, eating freshly made fudge outside Ghost Town Candy Store, snow falling all around, gave imaginative thoughts to a festive Holiday season, outside a lodge, somewhere in the mountains. Contentment sums up my state of mind, at the time. Highly recommend!

We got FUDGE! It's very good and we kept it and ate it over the next several days. We bought Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Oreo, Butterfinger, Cotton Candy, Chocolate Mint. Seriously good fudge! They have a lot of other items, but we had a one track mind.

[Review #431] 2019 Yelp 100 Challenge (83/100) Not that I need any more candy, but I like Ghost Town Candy because this location usually have shorter lines & it's on my way out so I can pick-up some last minute munchies when I leave. The shop is clean & well-stocked... easy pickings if you know what you want. Buy them by the pack or pound, this candy here is not cheap but it's Knott's-themed, boysenberry & other berry flavors. Service is friendly & fast! My latest purchase was their boysenberry punch... overly sweet that you don't need much to make a good cup of punch, a little splurge for the kiddos. I like to drizzle a little over vanilla ice cream like it's fudge. Yum, yum, yum! Recommended: Boysenberry Punch Concentrate.

This is a good place for bulk candy inside the Ghost Town section of the Knotts park. The pricing tends to be the same. It is by the quarter pound, pricing. I'm pretty sure that we bought more candy here too. (We were snacking throughout our two-day visit in January). The clerks were wearing old-fashioned costumes. The inventory varies for each candy store inside the park.

Cool little spot to grab a handful of sugary treats to give a nice sugar boost. Ladies were sweet and not too badly priced. Wanted a butterfingers candy apple but still a little full from lunch so I passed and got some candy. I did try some salted nut roll fudge that my kid's friend had and it tasted exactly like an Abba-Zabala. They also sell a few cold beverages.
