Had Birthday dinner with 4 people on 09/06 at Gauchos in Buena Park. Had a reservation and we were seated promptly. Ambiance was nice, food was amazing, I recommend the Ribeye Tomahawk and the Margarita flyte, worth it! Service by our waiter Allan was excellent. Allan was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. He was very proactive and anticipated our needs. Service with a smile! Thanks Allan for helping our Birthday celebration memorable! I highly recommend Gauchos in Buena Park!!!!

Foods are amazingly good. The server (Joshue Corona) made great recommendation of food and drink selection. We were there to celebrate my brother's birthday, and we had an unforgettable night.

The restaurant wasn't packed, but service was slow. We were a party of 5. Our waiter when he 1st sat us down explained the menu which was helpful. Service after was poor. We ordered a beer which took 15 min. Had to flag down another waiter to ask for the beer. Reordered a beer and same thing. It took a really long time. Throughout dinner our waiter was MIA. He never checked on us to refill waters. We had to ask 2 times for water. I had to ask for the dessert menu 2X cause they never came the 1st time I asked. I had to ask for the check. Food here is good and the ambiance is nice. I have been here before, but last night the service was terrible and it wasn't even busy.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and had a great time! The food is delicious, the meat was juice and tender, (We had entrania), We also try the shrimp empanadas and they were nothing but good. Gaston was our waiter and he was amazing, extremely polite, courteous and very friendly, he is a five star!!!!

They have a good variety of yerba mate and Argentine pastries, love this spot. The mate gourds sold here are so pretty and traditional

Service by Gaston was top notch. We had ordered our steaks and there was definite preparation issues in the kitchen. Gaston was super patient with this and did all he could to make our first dining visit positive.

Sadly poor service. Food came at different time, our drinks were missed, we had to ask someone else for them. We asked for butter for our bread and the waiter said they don't have butter just chimichri, the sauce the dipping sauce that comes with Argentine bread. Yea we know it comes with that sauce we are Argentine's, but I like butter on my bread. Food was ok. My milanesa looked like it was Fried in cold oil. Meat was a bit veiny and hard too. The other waiters were helpful who did check on us. They need to do better.

Food was great, got great value for what we paid. My relative was super happy since it was his birthday. The entire family had a great time. Our server even offered to take pictures for us.

Fathers Day, so it was busy. Asked to sit our family of 4 in a booth, but was told it was reserved for party of 6. Shortly after we were seated, by the restroom, they seated parties of 4 in the booths I asked to be seated in. Food arrived cold and it took a long time to get waiters attention for extra utensils and water. The food and drinks are usually really good, it was just miss on Father's Day.

Over rated, over priced, very disappointing. Did not understand why they are highly rated on yelp. Service was not great. Told the server it was our first time dining at the restaurant. Was celebrating Father's day and the food was mediocre. The high priced steak lacked seasoning and flavors. The server did not offer or bring water to us and had to ask for it. Would not come back.

I was looking for a new restaurant new experience close to home. The experience was okay. The table we sat at was confusing. It seemed like they were in the middle of a remodel. The table was ‘rustic' with pen scribbles and scratches all over and so was the wall next to where we sat. The rest of the restaurant with the exception of some of the table similar to ours seemed upscale. The bread was good, the rack off lamb was the bomb. I ordered the seabass. I didn't like it not sure if it was the sauce it was in. The lighting over the table was a little too bright for dinner and the live music was good but too loud.

Went to Gaucho last night with a couple of friends, after reading some reviews and watching some Instagram short videos. We got seated right away, but the waiter didn't come to greet us until like 10 minutes in. We ordered drinks (ranging from sangria, whiskey, wine and Gaucho drafts). The only pour worth the money was the red wine. Ordered 4 empanadas all different so we could try. Out of the 4, we only got one correct that we ordered. We received one with shrimp and thankfully, I didn't grab that one and bite it, since I'm allergic to shrimp. Anyways, I advised the waiter and he didn't seem pleased. So we didn't advise on the other 2 that weren't our order. He said he would replace it with the shrimp one with el pastor (which we did order). The cheese balls were overly cooked and hard to eat. Texas de Brazil has wayyyyyyyyy better cheese balls. When our meat arrived the ribeye was definitely not medium well. It was medium rare. I cut only on the sides (mostly fat) so I advised the waiter if we could get it back on the grill and he said it would take awhile, I said it was fine then he said he would be back. 10,15 minutes later nothing... so we waived him down again for more drinks and at the point the steak was already cold and I was over it since everyone was done with their meat. I liked the venue, service was not as other steakhouses and I would definitely ask for less ice on the drinks, so you get more drink than ice (somewhat like Starbucks).

Not great. Ordered the tomahawk and it was underwhelming. No flavor and poorly cooked. We ordered medium rare and got the whole spectrum (close to the bone was rare, outer parts were well done, medium well mostly) Staff could use more training too.

The atmosphere is great, servicer was pleasant but the quality of the Parrillada was very poor, overcooked and over priced. However, their Asado Al Asador, a 6hr fire cooked prime short rib, was amazing, but pricy.
