I hosted a baby shower here back in November. I have been meaning to post a review of this venue for some time but ofc we quickly got busy after the baby shower!! LOL. First i would like to mention that we live in Nevada. We needed to find a venue in California for our baby shower because most of our family is from there. We STRUGGLED to find a venue in California that wasn't overpriced and that had all the amenities we needed (i.e. a kitchen, a bar, and tables/chairs). We searched for weeks (months in advance) for a venue that could accommodate us for a reasonable price. We stumbled upon this venue on a google review for venues in southern California on one of the very last pages. This place far exceeded our expectations for a venue!!! When we contacted the owner (John) he answered his phone, and not only was he extremely nice, he was very informative. The venue was reasonably priced, he had tables & chairs (included in venue price), there was a bar inside the venue but secluded from party area, they offer open bar (for a price) or self pay bar, and they had a HUGE kitchen where they allow you to cater your own food. This place was AMAZING. The best part of the venue was that they offer you 2 hours the day prior to the venue to come set things up, and an hour prior for caterers and vendors to come into the event to complete ur set up; this was unheard of at any other venue. Not to mention, most places require you to use their catering service for an astronomical unreasonable price per person.I do not want to mention the venue price because that may vary depending on your requests, however, i will say that it was significantly less than any of the other venues that we checked out in the area for everything that was included. Its definitely worth your effort of a quick call. The pictures on the website and on the online reviews really dont do it justice. The venue is located in a very nice area of Buena Park and placed in a quiet cul-de-sac in an overpass. Do yourself a favor a drive by if you get a chance.By some stroke of luck, the venue was available for the date of our baby shower! John, his wife, and another gentleman were available on site for anything we needed. They were also serving drinks at the bar.The day before the event John was there to let us in and set up he kindly helped us set up tables for 125 people. He also offered white table linens, for which he charges a cleaner fee, but it is worth it for the convenience alone. The day of the event he allowed all my vendors in an hour before and my family and I finished our set up. During the event he helped manage the temperature in the venue and checked in on us constantly to ensure we had everything we needed.Ever since the baby shower I have not stopped thinking about how magical the day was for us. Also about how i NEED to post a review for them. Our day was way better than we had anticipated....and I attribute the success of my event to John, his wife, and the venue overall. I wish i would have taken a picture with them =/. Regardless, I hope you can reference my attached pictures to get an idea of what the venue looks like.

Staff was friendly and helpful!Great venue. Small parking lot, but street parking is available.

I feel so lucky and blessed that I found the Christopher club to host my dad's celebration of life party. John went above and beyond in helping me and my family to ensure everything ran smoothly. This location has everything you need to host any party and with the price they charge I feel was very reasonable considering everything you get. It's also in a very easy convenient location just off the 5 freeway with plenty of parking. Love that you can also have a catering service that can set up outside, even though we didn't. Hope to have another big celebration to use this space again. Thank you John.

A true hidden gem. If you need an affordable and quality venue, you've found it. John was an excellent host, setting up the tables and chairs we needed. My favorite part is the kitchen, its organized in a way so that your guest can order "subway style" without them breathing on food. I like the fact he takes alcohol safety seriously by managing how much is sold. While this might sound inconvenient, I truly appreciate the fact that to him, safety is #1 priority.When guests have unlimited access to it, it usually leads to feuds or unruly behavior. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. Including a wheel chair accessible one. I was so busy overlooking the party that I didn't get a chance to take photos. I only have pictures from the night before we set up. Thank you so much for making my sisters Quincenera magical. For reference, we didn't invite a lot of people but planned for 16 tables of 8 seats and added one more table in case a family felt squished or didn't want to share. We ended up not needing it but better safe to be prepared than not! Again tysm! Definitely recommendAlso, this place has AC!

The bartender was ridiculously rude to the other, lady bartender. Unnecessarily so. It's a Knight's of Columbus bar, so this was very shocking to see. We were here for an event. Security was great, and the venue was nice. I don't have the name of the bartender, but I regret every tip that I gave him. Upgrading to a more appropriate 4 stars after receiving feedback from the club. It's clear that they care!

Our club reserved this venue for a Sat eve. Feb 2022 Dinner dance. From my first inquiry at about 10 pm in Aug 2021, John spent about 25 min. patiently answering my questions and on subsequent calls. . We met John on several occasions visiting the venue along w our volunteer event committee. We had our questions and concerns addressed and proceeded with our function. John and his team set up tables and chairs,, we arranged the room to our needs.. We had food brought in, arranged our live band,, pre arranged the alcohol supply w John's suggestions. We had adequate time to decorate and clean up. During our event, John and his team had their work out and were available for questions and assistance . It seems they enjoyed our party as much as we did! I've received many compliments from our attendees on our party and have been asked if I'll plan our next one. Many thanks to John and his crew for making my job easier and helping us create a memorable evening.

I visited this place during a clothing exhibition on a Sunday. The men's restroom was not properly maintained. There were no toilet seat covers in the restroom. The administration was informed but no action was taken.
