[email protected]. This is my story. My husband met with the owner (each club is run independently) and requested accommodations for our child. For example, we asked them to review the daily schedule with him. They said they would "try". They did not implement anything. In a meeting with my husband and my 7-year-old child their staff Malia said that my child was excluded indefinitely after she said he "accidentally hit" a child while playing soccer. That is not appropriate for children to hear nor was the exclusion merited, this was an excuse to not include a child with a disability in their program. I highly doubt that all the 7 year olds are being excluded indefinitely for pushing or accidentally hitting during contact sports games. The staff are unprofessional and do not have a basic understanding of best practices for children in general like, not having inappropriate conversations in front of children, the need of understanding the daily routine, game rules, structure, redirection, and positive reinforcement. This place can improve by training their staff, improving customer service, being more inclusive and implementing easy accommodations. This is why I am giving the Boys and Girls club a zero.

Both of my kids have gone here. Their staff is phenomenal. They are very experienced, compassionate, and make terrific mentors. The leadership and peer programs are also great for bonding.

My daughter Mia had great examples with the staff thats employed there at the Boys and Girls Club Buena Park she learned a lot of things which helped her to became an independent and strong leader through high school and I know its because of the great staff they have there at the Boys Girls Club of Buena Park, the Boys and Girls Club is a great stepping stone for young boys and girls to become great leaders of our community

My children went to the Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park when they were young, and I still try to support them through my company because I absolutely love what they do for the kids in our community. They have a rock climbing wall, a garden, a woodshop, ceramics room, teen club, smart girls and smart boys programs, computers ... you name it - they have it. The kids there make lasting friendships and have access to really great mentors. It really is the best place for kids.

Best boys and gIrls club! .. my son has attended a few.. I have to tell you the staff makes the environment here. So friendly.. always say hi and happy to help with any questions. . Complete opposite of la habra club. .. I stand the extra miles because my kids feel the difference. I absolutey love this place and the staff. Thank you !
