Nonexistent customer service. The store’s policies seem to change depending on who you talk to. One lady refused to give me the holiday discount and mislead me into believing that there wasn’t one. I had to call another aritaum store and when I came back to get the discount, they refused to refund the difference and gave me conditional store credit that could only be used at this specific store. They make returning or exchanging a product an absolute nightmare. Oh wait, there is no return policy! Be very thoughtful before you make a purchase here. There is no corporate phone number so if you have a problem with a certain store, you have no recourse. If you want Sulwhasoo, go to Nordstrom. They offer 25% off during Black Friday and have free returns.

Come here to check out the store! They have a lot of Korean make up and skin care. I was there to check out some facial masks and they have some good deal (buy 10 get 10 free)! I paid about 16 dollars for 20 masks; that's very good deal! The staff here are friendly and professional.

The lovely lady at the skincare counter is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There are products for a wide variety of skincare concerns. The Korean skincare products they have are top of the line and often sold out elsewhere, including online. Definitely worth the trip every 6-8 weeks.

They carry the usual Asian meats and vegetables to make traditional dishes. The meat selection is great they are fresh and can be bought in different sizes. The higher quality chunks of meat are more expensive, but it tastes better when cooked. This is my go-to place for when we decide to cook shabu-shabu as they have everything we need. The preferred meat for shabu-shabu (they have chicken, beef, and shrimp) is soft and you get a lot in one serving. The leftovers can be refrigerated or stored in the freezer for a couple days. They have endless of noodles to use for both stir fry and soups. Some of the noodles comes with sauce packets which is great if you need an extra kick of flavor. The have many Asian vegetables - all fresh with no discoloration and wilting on any of them. When certain Asian fruits are in season they always carry them and I suggests to check this place first for the best selection. Both fruits and vegetables are cheaper here than most American supermarkets. If you are looking for a quick sushi fix, they have great options here both fresh and delicious. They have samples of just about anything from potato chips to grilled meats. They sell small kitchen appliances such as hot pots, rice cookers, and grill sets. They are all a bit on the pricey side. There is no need to sign-up for a membership to pay for the deals, they do offer a club card which if you accumulate enough points you get special deals. The parking spaces here are horrible - they are tight and the lines are so narrow. If you drive a huge truck good luck in fitting into these spaces. You have to drive a few times to find a spot on a busy Sunday morning when everyone is doing there grocery shopping for the week. This is located in a plaza with other Asian stores and it is not visible when you are driving by. It is towards the back further away from street veiw. The inside is clean and organize, you can easily find items on the shelves with every item categorized correctly.

Disappointed and scared to get cancer from eating the food. Now they served super hot tofu soup with plastic spoon. I will never come here again.

-My fiancé and myself usually go to a 99 Rach but a friend of his recommended this store instead. We decided to try it out since we needed to buy a few items only found in Asian markets. -Parking lot can be a little hectic since there are other stores and restaurants surrounding the store. As soon as you walk inside the store you can see that it is very well kept and clean. There are a tons of options for all your cooking needs. Their prepared food to go looks great with a lot of options to choose from. There are sample tables that offer products they sell in case you want to try before you buy. -Prices are okay. We have been coming here once a month and it has been great ever since.

I love H Mart. It's clean and there's always new produce. They also have some kind of fruit on sale every week. Last week, I got a bunch of huge mangoes that were about a dollar each. The food court is the best. I love having the sikhye drinks on a hot day. My favorite things to eat at H-Mart are dolsot bibimbap and tteokkochi.

This is my favorite H Mart that I've ever been to! I somehow always end up here when I come to LA, and it never disappoints. For one, it's a huge store so there's lots and lots of things to look at, and the prepared food section is bomb! I love coming here after a long day at Disneyland or late at night for a snack.

"It's an H-Mart... What more do you want from me?" Despite being located in CA and with cheaper access to foreign goods, this H-Mart was just ok. Pros: + Access to asian food and food courts + Fresh local seafood and imported seafood + Looks fairly clean Cons: - Not one time did I see sliced pork feet on my way in and out several times - Food court is subpar (The H-Mart in Austin, TX has live music bands, fresh decor, and even offer bars there) - Pricey compared to other local asian supermarkets Overall: Not a bad place to kill time while waiting to get into Sup Noodle Bar. Save your money at the other asian markets.

I am a frequent customer of this H-Mart I like to buy my seafood from here because it is usually fresh. Today they had small clams and from what I've read your supposed to make sure the clams are closed or give them a light tap to see if they close to make sure they are alive and fresh. So I look at the clams and only pick up the closed ones and I give them a tap to double check. Mind you I'm picking up only the ones I'm going to buy. I suddenly feel a tap on my right shoulder and it's this Korean older woman maybe 60'ish and she tells me don't touch the clams with your hands, your hands are dirty! I tell her excuse me my hands are not dirty. Now I've been taught to respect my elders so I just turn around and speak to the man behind the seafood counter I ask him is he has anymore clams, so this lady won't leave my side and proceeds to repeat herself to which I reply look I heard you the first time no need to repeat yourself and she won't budge she stands right next to me and I finally just lose it I tell her you can go now I've heard you all three times! She moves further down and she's complaining that I'm touching the clams which I am not since the first time she mentioned it. I then tell her you need to learn how to talk to people your attitude is horrible to which she tells me....DONT COME HERE! GO TO YOUR STORES! DONT COME HERE ANYMORE! THIS ISNT MEXICO! By then I'm just in shock that someone would say that to anyone. So I inform her that I am an American citizen and asked her if she was an American citizen. She completely ignored the question before I left I told her that she was a RACIST and to never speak to me or anyone else that way ever! Now we have Koreans telling people this isn't Mexico? Well this sure as Hell isnt Korea either! I will be calling corporate tomorrow as I approached the manager of the store and showed her the woman who was telling me not to come back to the store and as soon as she approached the woman they started speaking in Korean and the manager did nothing.

I've been shopping at Hmart stores for over 15 years and they were one of my favorite places to buy fresh fish. Being the cleanest Asian markets around, I would never thought I would find parasites in their fish. I bought this fish and had planned on serving it for dinner the same day. When I got home and prepared to clean the mackerel, its' gut was filled with roundworms. I couldn't believe my eyes. I have trusted this store for years. Part of me understand that to some level, these kind of things are out of their control but a well organized business like this should have better quality control. This could have made my family very sick. They need to check their vendors and look into how their fishes are being handled. In this case, mishandled.
