They will take advantage of you whenever possible! We brought in a Weedwhacker for a service in April For a $110 service, we brought it back in May for a $179 service and we brought it back again in June for a $200 service. Seems a bit excessive for a Weedwhacker. Maybe they could’ve noticed how many problems it had at the service in April and advised us to purchase a new Weedwhacker, the last time it was brought in it was brought under a different account name so they thought it was a brand new Weedwhacker to them seems a little sketchy.
It’s unfortunate. We’ve lived in the valley for 50 years. We will not be using this business again and we used to for a long time with the previous owners.

Brought my newer Westinghouse Generator that sat around too long and would not start. They flushed it out and educated me about California fuels have high alcohol content which causes a short short fuel life and condensation. They flushed the system and added no alcohol containing fuel for long term storage. Prompt professional and great communication. I highly recommend them for your small engine repairs.

These people have been straight up honest with me in every dealing I've had with them. I've bought equipment, bought parts, and had repairs to equipment I bought someplace else. Today, I didn't even buy anything but they gave me an excellent referral to another business that could do the job. The lady in charge at the front desk is a rock star and knows her beans! I love doing business with these people!

New mechanic not as good took cub cadet for service and belt and reverse wasn’t working got it back and reverse still don’t work and threw new belt after mowing my lawn 3 times I have to rent trailer both ways and it was $400. For repair and it’s 160 just to be I. Shop not worth it

Our Kawasaki Mule was barely running - Chris came and picked it up around 3pm, it was back by 10am the following day running smoothly and tuned up. Great experience. Thank you.

I have a vineyard in Solvang called Shoestring Vineyard and Chris and his team took on all my ranch equipment with complete professionalism . They pick up and deliver your equipment and pricing was low for what I asked them to do. The knowledge they have of many types of equipment is unmatched in CA. I am from multiple States and trust me you wont find this kind of small engine repair anywhere in the US. This was a great find for me and trust me you wont be disappointed , Shawn Craig

Not sure what you guys saw in this place, I dropped a Briggs and Stratton pressure washer off mid last year, I believe Chris was who I dealt with. it almost took two weeks longer then I was told, which I was fine stuff happens, but when I inquired about what was holding it up this guy upset and was completely unprofessional. add insult to injury, and I ended up having to take it to "Full throttle small engine repair" in Solvang, awesome place. Needless to say, I will not be going back and would recommend full throttle to anyone needing repairs.

Wonderful service! Answered my call promptly, picked up my riding mower and lawnmower a couple days later, and fixed them both within a day! Price was fair and Chris thoroughly explained what he did to both machines. Thanks!

Great to have Chris here in the valley! Took an old wood chopper that wouldn't run in to get it checked out. The carburetor was clogged up but instead of spending a bunch of time cleaning it out Chris decided to replace it and saved us some money. Very reasonable price on the repair. A few times in the last year I have stopped by and got very valuable and free advices on my golf cart. Always with a smile. Sure a great upgrade to the previous owner that we stopped taking our equipment to. We will be back! Good to have you here, Chris!

I inherited an old Montgomery Wards tractor that had fuel issues. I called and talked to Wayne. He walked me through steps to take to figure out my issues over the phone. He even provided me with another contact of a person who specializes in the older tractors. Maybe an upgrade to a newer Cub Cadet will be in the works when I figure out how to use this old tractor. Either way, JV Power Equipment is the place to go to. Friendly and professional. Thank you Wayne.
