Belongs to the Cache Creek Casino Resort.
Managed by Troon.
Surrounded by rolling hills.
Interesting and challenging course, long (silver 7.337, gold 6.907, white 6.449).
Fast greens.
Nice environment, nice views all along.
Nice clubhouse.
Quality of fairways and greens so-so, many dry spots, some bunkers could be in better shape as well.
Greenfee: $135 for resort guests

Yocha is the best golf course North of San Francisco all the way to just before Bandon Dunes. I love playing this course. It is both challenging and yet forgiving at the same time. The greens are well manicured, the entire course is well maintained, the carts are awesome, and the staff is top-notch. Have golfed here many times and will continue to make the long journey to play here as often as I can.

Yocha Dehe is a beautiful, very well maintained course. Prices are a bit high, but well worth the experience. Your clubs are placed on the cart at the front of the clubhouse and cleaned at the end of the round. Waters on ice provided in the cart mounted coolers. Course conditions are excellent. It is such a treat to play this course! The clubhouse food is good, as well!

Once you are on the course, I give it 5 star-golf. I wouldn't call it a great "value" since it was more expensive than Spanish, Harding Park, and Poppy around the same time/day of week.... but this one is in the same field as the other 3 (albeit at a higher price point). I only gave it 3 stars due to my experience with the sales manager/tournament manager: Tony. I run a golf league with 8 or so tournaments a year. We are casual and just trying to get 6-8 foursomes on the books on a weekend at any time.
Tony started out over a year ago fairly unresponsive to my mutliple emails requesting availability for outings, which is not unusual in my experience for a golf course. But as I followed up and got responses, he later became completely uncooperative in my request of trying to get 32 golfers out there on a Fri, Sat, or Sun. All I heard on multiple emails and a phone call were lessons on supply and demand and how busy the course is and how many tourneys they get a year... yet the next 4+ weekends are wide open for a group my size... Unfortunately, out of roughly 75 courses I have dealt with between California and Arizona, this course has been my worst experience from a tournament director point of view.
It really just felt as if he wanted no business at all. Just a very odd and unusual experience in my opinion.
Still... the course alone is worth a play if you can make a trip out of it. I just warn those trying to schedule a tourney with Tony.

A great dining experience for lunch. The views are incredible. Food is excellent and the service is superb. If you’re looking for a good lunch with a great atmosphere try the Yocha Dehe golf club.

Definitely not a 4.8 stars experience. It’s one of California’s best inland locations, but the course is poorly managed for resort prices. A 5:10 round with no active marshaling, and your golf cart screen tells you how far behind pace you are while you wait for the group ahead to clear before you can hit your next shot. Fringes that aren’t puttable, greens and greenside grasses in muni shape at best. The bent grass rough was expert tournament long. I watched average skilled golfers struggle with these conditions all day.

One of the best courses in the Bay Area. The course is challenging and is in great shape. Pro shop is well stocked and a very friendly staff. From the parking lot to the first tee is an excellent experience. Heading back next week!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Every staff member I interacted with was beyond professional and kind, especially the pro shop staff. The young lady in there went above and beyond. The course is fantastic. Conditions were about perfect and the pace of play was good as well. Highly recommend you play a round at Yocha Dehe
