Great location near the airport feasible to hang out up the coast or south of bay. The service was very friendly and the food and drinks at the bar were tastey! Would stay here again when I'm in town for business or pleasure! Thank you for the wonderful service ( thanks to the front desk service - an african american lady, sorry I forgot her name, extremely nice) Thanks again!Nearby activities: Suggest renting a car , super convenient to drive up the coast or down the coast.Food & drinks: Great restaurant and bar at the hotel, but also many additional options nearby.”

495 Jefferson St, San Francisco“Great hotel and great location. Tenzin and the staff were great. Our server Juan Carlos (aka JC) was amazing and our bartender Jason was great. The food was outstanding as were the views.
Rooms: Well maintained and great views.
Food & drinks: You will want to start your day with JC at the Blue Mermaid and end your day with Jason at the bar.”
“A faultless one. Very good stay, the hotel is very clean, the bed is comfortable, really wonderful and luxurious pillows, spacious room with street view but well soundproofed. The service is very professional. Cleaning done every day, or not at your request. Very good location right next to a tram station leading to Powell Street metro station which connects to the airport. In the middle of Union Square with all its restaurants and shops (Nike etc.). Breakfast is available on the ground floor, coffee and tea with very good homemade cookies, free of charge and unlimited. This is completely sufficient.”
“Stayed for two nights. Great location that is walking distance to most of the key places to visit in San Francisco. Property is well maintained, rooms are great with a comfy bed and convenient kitchenette. Will definitely be back!”

Rooms are small , but who wants to stay inside in SF? Beds are great . No parking, but we found a space a block away , just be sure to move your car before you get a ticket.
Rooms: Bed is very comfy”

We stayed for 3 nights to visit the city.We arrived before check in time but our room was ready and we were let in!The room was fantastic, it was huge, plenty of floor space and storage. Equally, the bathroom was big too. The bed was very comfortable.Location wise, it was great, felt safe in this area. Easy to walk around locally there were a good selection of bars and restaurants.”

501 Post St, San Francisco“It was my first time in San Francisco and booked The Donatello thru timeshare! Pictures on timeshare needs to be updated because rooms were spacious, beautiful and did not expect kitchenette! Location, staff service & rooms were excellent and would stay again or recommend. My only negative comment is to have 2 queen or 2 double bed options!”

340 Stockton St, San Francisco“Was it a solid hotel? Yes. But I expected more given the following of Taj & this being a 5 star hotel. The restaurant is under maintenance so it’s room service only. The bed was very comfortable but the room wasn’t anything extraordinary. They have minimal snacks (chocolate croissants) put out in the morning time. The door staff and housekeeping was incredible — probably the best part of the service! They went above and beyond to delight. So overall, a good place to stay but nothing that’ll blow you away.”

1075 Columbus Ave, San Francisco“One of the best stays at a hotel I've ever had. All 3 shifts of the front desk were top notch. I have never had front desk agents treat my friend and I the way they did. 3 separate times we came back in the evening and there were no 1st level parking spots, all 3 times the 2nd shift front desk guy came out and moved HIS car so we could park, dude even walked up to the 2nd level garage and stopped me just to let me have his spot. These guys need raises ! Great location, great price, and clean.”

520 Church St, San Francisco“I had the most wonderful stay at Parker Guest House in May 24. The stunning property is straight out of ‘Tales of the City’ and my room was spacious, bright, and looked out over the beautiful gardens. Having a lovely continental breakfast each day was fuelling for a day of exploring. From the Parker it’s an easy 10-minute walk up to the Castro and the Muni station which takes you everywhere you’ll want to go. This stay was recommended to me by friends who had stayed there in the past and I’m now passing it on.”

1500 Sutter St, San Francisco“This really is somewhere that you would enjoy spending more than one night. We were sad to leave! Each member of staff we encountered was lovely, the decor was beautiful (the lobby and lift were very cool) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great, too.We particularly enjoyed our conversations with the lovely Manoj on reception, who gave us such a warm welcome on arrival and kindly assisted with an early check-in, a surprise room upgrade (beautiful room) and helped us arrange a taxi when we were in a rush to get to our pre-arranged tour on Alcatraz. Thank you so much - you made our stay so special and we will remember your kind hospitality.”

2026 Lombard St, San Francisco“Had to book this motel last minute and the gentleman running the desk was extremely helpful. At one point during my stay I forgot to put my parking pass in the window, and he prevented my car from getting towed just because he remembered what car I came in. The price was very reasonable for something so central, especially since off-street parking was free. The building might seem a bit dated, but the room was immaculately clean and the beds comfortable. A good value stay in the city!”

2700 Junipero Serra Blvd, Daly City“I'm a pretty tough critic so here we go:
My friends and I were coming here to see Zedd at Bill Graham but since some of us were driving in I wanted to find somewhere with free parking and, if possible, free breakfast. This place had both and it was near enough to where we wanted to be so I said sure, let's try it.
Check-in was easy and the front desk was always helpful throughout my stay. For instance, since some of my friends were driving up Saturday I asked if their room could be as close to us as possible, which they did do for us. Yes there is free coffee and tea 24/7, and there's a station at the water fountain to refill a water bottle as well which is always nice and environmentally friendly. Love that.
First thing I noticed when I walked into the room was that there was an actual door to the bathroom, and not one of those sliding ones which I HATE and everyone seems to have nowadays. But, upon exploring, there are also bathrooms elsewhere in the hotel to use if yours is occupied by a friend who takes long showers. Love that. The TV did have Live TV as well as some streaming options -- Netflix and YouTube were the only two we used. There wasn't any options for like HBOMax or Paramount+ or Disney+ ... I wish we could access all our streaming accounts but those worked well enough for us.
The gym downstairs -- one of the larger gyms for sure that I've seen in a hotel. My friend and I worked out in there, watched some TV while working out. Loved all of that.
When I was hungry I wanted to just walk somewhere to grab some food and right downstairs was a sandwich shop which I thought was good. The next day we walked to the In-N-Out which was maybe a 5-7 minute walk, along with a Krispy Kreme and then we walked to the CVS a little further away. All so close and convenient. Loved all that.
I mean, other than that, the only downside I saw was that the water pressure was a little light but I can live with that. So glad I decided to try out this hotel bc now when I come to SF I will consider this as one of my top options.”

601 Eddy St, San Francisco“I have no complaints about the front desk service. The staff were very nice, welcoming, and accommodating to my occasion. However, aside from the service, the hotel is not perfect. It was not super clean, especially my room’s restroom. There were loose hairs on most surfaces, see photos. I also want to warn others that this hotel is in a very noisy area, which can’t be helped, but I think it is fair to point out. Lots of traffic noise, honking, and loud music throughout the day and night. I would say this hotel isn’t the best for a restful night’s sleep.”

190 El Camino Real, San Bruno“I work in the airline industry, which requires taxing conditions such as laboring long hours on the backside of the clock. The conditions we are exposed to challenge a person’s physiology. People in this industry are not looking for opulence, just simply a retreat to relax and recharge. Hotel Aura possesses all of the creature comforts that we utilize in a clean, comfortable environment. Operated by a friendly staff and all topped off with a fair price, what more could you ask for?”

Amazing staff, amazing housekeeping. Property is in the midst of upgrades and will be an absolutely stunning 3 star hotel in my opinion. Electric chargers in all parking spots. I highly recommend this hotel for its rate to quality ratio, this is a great stay for anyone long term or short. Rooms are very clean and modern! WiFi available and plenty within walking distance!
Rooms: Very clean
Walkability: Very close to everything”

“SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO TUAN THE BELLMAN, AND ALL THREE MEN (AND A WOMAN) AT THE FRONT DESK! THEY ALL DID THEIR BEST TO MAKE SURE I WAS HAPPY AND ACCOMMODATED!YOU CAN TELL TUAN AND THE VALET (I believe from El Salvador), ON THE NIGHT SHIFT OF MARCH 15th, TRULY LOVE TO SERVE FROM THEIR HEARTS! And the WOMAN TENDING THE BAR FROM POLAND!!!! I’M SO SORRY I DIDN’T CATCH YOUR NAME! YOU WERE SOOO FRIENDLY AND HAD REALLY GOOD TASTE IN FOOD! SHE WAS SOOOO GENUINELY CARING! THE YOUNG WOMAN WAITRESS AT ELLIOTT’S ON MARCH 16th (sorry IDK your name but she wears glasses), SHE WAS SUPER NICE TO ME JUST A SWEET SPIRIT! I HAVE TO SAY EVERYONE WAS EXCEPTIONALLY NICE AND HAD GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND I KNOW GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.THIS HOTEL ALSO RECOGNIZES AND ACKNOWLEDGES YOUR MARRIOTT REWARDS STATUS, AND THEY HAVE SUPER GOOD PERKS LIKE CREDITS FOR BREAKFAST OR MARRIOTT POINTS JUST TO SAY ‘WELCOME’ & ‘THANK YOU’! (Cookies and champagne ?).The staff never treated me poorly or looked down on me… I’m so grateful and would recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting SF. ?!I stayed at Hotel Adagio for the second time Today! I also stayed here back in December 2023. It was a beautiful hotel with all the Christmas decorations and holiday cheer. There were no homeless people to step over as I had read about in other reviews. To be fair, in Dec 2023 the city had just rid the streets of all the homeless secondary to the state of arrival of the Chinese president. This second time, around 3 months later, there STILL were no homeless people in site (may The Lord Bless them and keep them safe).I felt completely safe walking around outside to get in Lyfts or find the valet. (Single female here). This was a staycation for me, however, when I am out of town I like resorts or hotels that have a luxurious feel, or close to that anyway. This Hotel, while it isn’t a resort, is more than sufficient. They keep the inside looking well kept and clean. It doesn’t feel like, let’s say, you’re staying at a “Residence Inn” (NO SHADE TO RESIDENCE IN, THERE’s a time for that type of hotel). I needed a break from kids, and to relax. I also booked a massage at Burke Williams which is only 5 mins away via Lyft. If you need R&R, I highly recommend this hotel and that spa!Thank you again Hotel Adagio, I can’t wait to visit you all again! May The Lord Jesus bless you all abundantly for your service!????????????”
“Great stay everything was very clean and all staff that interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not great though so do not pay the extra $20 per day we didn't use it at all.Walkability: Very close to Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf and shopping.”

411 San Bruno Ave E, San Bruno“Small, very practical hotel, very clean and comfortable, with an excellent welcome. Unpretentious breakfast but there is everything, the coffee is very good. 10 minutes walk from BART where you buy a ClipperCard and which connects with the airport, the center of SF (Powell), among others. Regency Inn is therefore very close to the Airport. It's well soundproofed and quieter than in the center of SF. Very good value for money!!! Excellent bedding!”
“Pristine, elegant hotel with excellent service at an unbeatable location. The Presidio is a National Park so federal police patrols this area as apposed to city police. Self parking is easy ($13 per night behind the hotel). There are a million things to do at the Presidio and there’s a free Presidio Go shuttle that takes you downtown and back. The rooms are modern and large compared to others in SF. Continental breakfast (no eggs or bacon) is included. There is no bar which didn’t matter to me. There is gym access at the Presidio YMCA (5 minute walk). The staff is very nice and service is excellent especially since the hotel is owned by the Presidio Trust, not a big hotel chain (Hyatt/Marriott,etc). Pricey but worth it especially if you are traveling with kids. We felt safe and taken care of.”

The staff is awesome, Cece helped with short notice tour to Muir Woods, and Jason was always spot on with dining locations and transportation options! Overall a great visit and I look forward to returning.Rooms: The rooms are one bedroom 2 baths, great if you have company.”
“Front Desk staff are great especially Alex, thank you for being so friendly and accommodating our requests. We also requested maintenance to come to fix a squeaky door and they resolved very quickly. As well as the confusing TV remotes, they were very helpful with that too.
This hotel has great potential and the suites are suitable for small families with the pull out sofa. They do not have an airport shuttle at all, breakfast was basic eggs, meat, waffles etc. But coffee/tea station was available all day which we appreciated.
The only improvements that they could do was more on the housekeeping and cleanliness. We found an empty chips wrapper while pulling out the sofa bed. All the dishes and cutlery were in the dishwasher when we came in, not sure if that is the norm here. The tub has some pink mold around the edges and the water didn't drain that well. Overall minor things which can be fixed easily.
Thanks again for taking care of us before our long flights out of SFO!”
