This place is so fun! The cabins are very comfortable and cute. The cabins have a propane fire pit which was awesome because then you don't smell like campfire or have to purchase wood. The creek running by the cabins is so relaxing and surreal. As far as the restaurant goes it's great as well. I had a steak and it came out just as I ordered it. Everyone working was so friendly and accommodating. We only stayed one night which wasn't our plan but due to roads being closed we lost a day/night due to this. We will defiantly be going back in the near future.

Had dinner here after a long ski day. The owners were so nice, and the food was reasonably priced for the massive portions they give you. So glad we found this place driving along, because it wasn't listed as a restaurant on Google maps! Highly recommend for anyone passing along the 395.

Amazing little stop near Bridgeport! Rooms are amazingly rustic while still being updated with plenty of cable stations, mini fridge, excellent heating. Exceedingly comfortable beds. The restaurant is phenomenal, with a delicious menu of Italian and burgers. Garlic bread was great! They have a little back deck and multiple chairs & lounge rockers near the creek. Really cool spot, just kinda isolated. I am stopping on the way to Tahoe. Would recommend to anyone and I'm sure the fishing and creek access is much better during summer

Swap rooms for food as we enjoyed the restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who seemed like he might own the place. There was definitely something about him that said " it makes me happy to serve you and I want your experience to be positive". The food we ordered was very good and that may have caused us to eat nore than we should have. But hey when you're on vacation you're supposed to splurge a bit. Go give this cute little restaurant a try and I promise you won't be disappointed.

This is a magical place. Old-school rustic cabins with a homey clean comfortable feel. The owners make you feel like family. Virginia Creek is amazing with trout and specs of gold. I’m pretty sure we found a piece of gold! The restaurant is fun and the food is delicious. There’s so much to do in the area, hiking, hot springs etc. The eastern Sierra Nevada is a special place and a hidden gem.Rooms: are perfect and homey and clean. Minimalistic and enough. The best part is the little gift bag with Smore’s, coffee and bag of food to feed the trout.Food & drinks: A wide range, including gluten-free and healthy salads.Noteworthy details: Lots of fun details, pictures, antiques, things to make you laugh, games, makes you feel like you’re back in the gold rush era.

What a cute western themed motel. We were driving down from Reno to LA on the 395 and found this gem along the way. Reasonable prices for the night, the room was like a snug log cabin, with a bear themed quilt and John Wayne pictures gracing every wall. The bed was surprisingly comfortable with a pillow top. There is some noise from the street, but not unexpected given that it is a motel along the highway. The restaurant was quaint as well, covered in signs with nuggets of wisdom like “no woman ever shot a man while he was doing the dishes”. We had a beer the night we got in and chatted with some fly fisherman. In the morning we got the breakfast which I would fully recommend. Chorizo and eggs and country potatoes. I would definitely stay again should I be passing through. Thanks!

We visited the restaurant for dinner, had a yummy steak dinner & a huge chicken cesar salad. Decided to go for breakfast the next morning, it was super busy, yet the service was great & coffee was kept full so the wait was no problem & the banana bourbon pancakes were enough for 2 & fantastic. We ended up there by chance the next night & had a pizza with such good crust, just overall fantastic tasting pizza & again great service! Made our Bridgeport stay that much better:)

Very nice and clean rooms. Beautiful setting with the stream behind the lodging. A bit loud with it being next to the highway though. Food was great and the staff were all super friendly. Definitely would recommend.

This place was amazing. The room as clean and stocked with plenty of towels and toiletries. The gift bag that we were given at check-in had coffee, s’mores, and fish food. Feeding the fish was fun. The food at restaurant was 5 star and staff was friendly and efficient. We had easy access to all the fishing holes we wanted and to the town. Our room looked exactly like the pictures on the website. I would definitely go back.

I will start by saying I've stayed here off and on for 5 years with no real problems. Love the location. But we showed up to stay in hotel room #3 and oh my goshhh it smelled so horrible in the room... like something was rotten or mold (the people in the next room were asked and also said their room was "musty/moldy smelling"). Maybe the carpet needs replacing? Idk. But when we contacted the office and let them know that there was a horrible smell we were met with a response saying "what do you want me to do about it?" Very poor customer service. Sad to have had this experience. We left and didn't even stay the night. Thankfully there was a room open down the road.

A very cute little restaurant with great service. I had the breakfast quesadilla and it was basically a flat burrito but pretty good. The bathroom was clean but unfortunately they do not have a diaper changing station available. Overall a really nice little spot to stop. Patio is dog friendly.

Such a delicious meal of spaghetti and ravioli with a tender leafed salad. Everything is homemade. The brownie sundae was out of this world with a homemade brownie !!
