A lovely small town bakery, way overpriced for the location and for the quality and quantity served. We arrived at 7:55 AM for breakfast, and the blond lady at the counter was overwhelmed and almost swamped with work. She kept saying that help will arrive at eight. A helper indeed arrived at 8:01. Nevertheless she was extremely courteous and helpful in preparing the order. She warmed our food. Lots of locals in line including the town’s sheriff who purchased three croissants and a box of eight donuts. We thought that seeing the sheriff was rather encouraging, and his presence convinced us to try the bakery rather than walk another block to Rhino’s for a more traditional breakfast. Pros: cosy feeling of a small town bakery. The lady worked very hard. Cons: food not so great and way too overpriced. We ordered two croissants, two slices of a feta quiche, and two coffees for a total of $39. One would wonder how locals can afford this kind of Los Angeles prices, even at times with high inflation. Quiche servings were minuscule. You had to eat 70% of the croissant before getting to the filling, which was over in one bite. Very doughy and tasteless. Skip the croissants as they were a tasteless lump of dough.

Stopped at this place twice passing through the Owens Valley. The bakery is lovely- they make their own bread and sweets- and they also make breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Their homemade BLT sandwiches on their own bread were tasty. The star of the show was their sweets. Excellent brownie and their coconut macaroons which they call haystacks. Definitely the best we've eaten. They mix dates and walnuts in with them, and it gives a whole other rich layer of flavors.

Wide selection of baked goods - homemade and made fresh daily. We had a homemade Strada with our pastry-yummy! What a find!

We were there just before closing time so the full range of products were not available. But I can report that the donuts were top notch. 5 stars! Attention to flavor and detail really showed. I will be back any time I am nearby!

Best apple fritter I've ever had. When I think of Bridgeport I think of apple fritters.

Tried coffee and donuts and they were good. The donuts had a very satisfying crunch to them. Coffee was strong and had good flavor!

Despite the sign that says Espresso there are no espresso drinks made here. The lady behind the counter made sure to exclaim that there are 'no latte machines in Bridgeport!' If you only want black drip coffee, this might be the place to go, but don't ask for decaf drip coffee cuz that will 'take a while'. I know people have bad days but the owners should update their sign.

Disrespectful to us because we had a service dog. She does not understand the law of the service dog. She was rude and unkind to us. What kind of people who ignores disability or life threatening issues just because we had a service dog. What a disappointment.

This bakery makes the best hobo bread in the Eastern High Sierras. Their jalapeño bread (fresh out of the oven) is 2 die 4. I mean it! Jalapeño, melted cheese, made in home made bread. Dang! My mouths drooling just thinking about this delicious bread.

Stopped for coffee and breakfast while passing through. The staff were so friendly and caring. Coffee was great. We had the egg strata, cinnamon glazed twist (gigantic!) and chocolate croissant. Yum!
