I love my WinCo! This is my go-to place for everything I'm not able to find at the Grocery Outlet (I go there for all my Keto needs). WinCo always has great prices, as well as huge produce selections, ready made sushi and chicken, large soda and drink selection... and very nice staff. Highly recommend :)

Whoever manages the store is doing a very poor job of training the cashiers. Every single time they put my raw chicken on top of bread. I don't know if California requires grocery stores to have food handler license but if they do they need to be revoked.

I had purchased 3 cartons of 18-eggs on Tuesday the 7th of Feb 2023. The next morning I boiled three of the eggs. The eggs were like rubber, and I only boil them for seven minutes. That evening of 8 February I brought them back to the store, demanding a refund. The lady in customer service told me they've never had a complaint about their eggs. not to mention the quality of the eggs the price was at over $11 for each pack of 18 eggs. They had to call a manager over not only did I had to argue with the lady and customer service but I had to argue with the manager eventually they did give me a refund. I went to the store the next day Raleys in Brentwood and purchase three cartons of eggs 18 each pack for only six dollars which were far better quality than anything. Any eggs at Winco in Brentwood California.

only review " Winco brand Croissant packing", I never like plastic but not much choices, markets now are full of products that switched from glass jars, containers, bottles... to "plastics" or " styrofoam". For food used, mostly will only consider plastic #2,4 & 5 not plastic #1, 3, 6, 7 & BPA free #7. Honestly Winco's 6 pack fair priced ($4.48 ) croissants are yummy good, but because it packed in a clear plastic bag with a black tray (hard to tell the material? plastic #6 SP {styrofoam plastic}? Truly hope more human recognized how STYROFOAM & PLASTIC can impacted to heath & to our Mother Earth + everything livening on it.

Thank you Jesus for WinCo! I do not know how our family could survive these gas prices and inflation without it. They have a huge selection of products and we really love the bulk items. I have been able to stock my pantry full of dried fruits, oats, flours, pasta, spices and many other staples. We use this as a base for so many of our meals and have been able to keep our grocery costs down. Plus, they have very reasonable sushi for when we want to have an order-in like experience. Far cheaper than DoorDash! My only complaint is the quality of produce is just fair (except for in-season times). But, the price does reflect this. Great job WinCo!

The cold pasta could be better. I picked up way too many & now I'm stuck with bland cheap meals I won't eat. The quality is no existing. Meatballs taste like fake meat. Mash potato bowl, dry chicken, lime patatos. If there is sauce they skip on it. Wish I could get my money back

This place is organized and they do restock their shelves. I have been there a couple of times and I have always been able to get what I need. There are employees restocking the entire time I am there and they are helpful when I approach them for directions. I took a star off because the meat were a little concerning. Most of the meat above are above the refrigerator line. Like half the chicken was not within the refrigerator on those open fridge.

The only place on earth that doesn't take a credit card. Need to post more visible signs on acceptable payment inside and out the store. They end up paying more in labor to put full baskets of groceries back then if they just paid the fee to have credit. This store is a joke. Depressing white light and not that great prices for the asylum like environment. Nothing organic so don't even look. Sales at Luckys are just as good.

This review is for preorder bulk items. This is the second year in a row that I've preordered 750 ice cream sandwiches several days in advance and they did not get processed. I get things happen, but call to notify us that the order didn't come in. This time the employee said that there was no order placed. So we cleared out the shelve of 2 kinds of ice cream sandwiches. Lesson learned, preorder through Safeway.

WINCO in Brentwood, is my preferred grocery store, to grocery shop at. I have been a retail grocery manager over 16 years and I must give this WINCO 5 Stars.. Winco is a large, employee owned & operated retail grocery store & I feel that makes all the difference . I'm my opinion, a customers shopping experience begins the very second the customer enters the parking lot & isn't over until the customer is leaving the parking lot. I believe Winco wants every customer 100% satisfied with their shopping experience every time . Depending on the time of day/evening/night you shop, your going to experience & encounter difference . This place gets BUSY & YES, there's lines, with people & shopping carts piled with food. Be patient, the cashiers on any shift are great & pretty fast oh and friendly. I generally shop late night, sometimes I'm there around 3am, that's when you'll find the most valuable part of the Winco team, THE LOAD CREW.. THE BACK BONE OF THE STIORE.. just do your shopping & don't get in there way.. WINCO BRENTWOOD - CLEAN- GOOD SELECTION IN EVERY DEPARTMENT- BIG PRODUCE DEPARTMENT-BULK SECTION -LOTS OF BIILK COOFFE -DELI-SUSHI- lPIZZA .. check these guys out oh and awesome prices & self checkout. I WILL POST PICTURES SHORTLY ...

I love this store and their prices. One BIG PROBLEM... every time I buy their meats and try to defrost them, the wrapping has holes every time. Allowing the water to seep in. Can we get a better meat wrapper or a more sturdy meat wrapping. Check the sealing before putting them on the shelves. Thanks.

If I could put a zero I would. Awful AWFUL experience and the customer service. I went to check out and my card was declined (no fault of mine I have over 1000 in my account) the cashier then had me try 3 more times for a grand total of 4 transactions. All where declined. I told her something has to be wrong on her end Becouse I have plenty of money in my account. She tells the supervisor on the floor who told me to finish bagging my groceries and come over to customer service when I was done. I finished and went over. I looked in my account while I was waiting and saw that I had 4 pending transactions from my account and I was charged each time from winco foods I showed this to her and said I have been charged four times for the same transaction can you please void the other three transactions. She told me that the three where declined on her end and gave me a paper to show the bank so they can reverse the transactions. I said okay thanks you. I then took my six year old daughter to the bathroom grabbed my groceries and was about to leave when three winco associates stoped me and said "you did pay for this you can leave" I turned around and said "what? I paid for them four times in fact." They said no it was declined and I said no it wasn't it was taken from my account. Then a women comes and asks for my receipt and I said "I don't have she dose (The customer service rep who helped me)" she said well you didn't pay for it then and I was just floored. The women was a winco security officer and told me that she was going to call the cops on me for trying to steal! I looked at her and said "are you kidding me?!" I then grabbed my phone to call my husband and while telling him what's going on she said "you need to get off the phone how do I know your not trying to call someone in the parking lot to come jump me" I looked at her and said "I'm on the phone with my husband and that comment was completely unnecessary" she said "okay well you need to get off the phone and come inside since now we're having an altercation and I have to document it" I was so taken aback by how I was getting treated that I started crying. I then told my husband I needed to go and I was going to leave without the groceries at this point. the security person then looks at me and she said "no if you do leave it's Becouse I'm LETING you leave" who the hell talks to someone like this?! Not only was this a HUGE MISUNDERSTANDING and could be avoided if the customer service rep told me that I couldn't take the groceries because it didn't show on there end and I had my six year old daughter with me for all of this. The assistant manager intervened and talked to me and said she understood what I was saying and she would like to help to solve the issue. She took me back to customer service and made some calls and I called my bank to see what could be done. I got everything I needed to have the transactions voided by my bank and left with my groceries. This was absolutely unexplainable behavior from a "security guard" she treated me like I ran in and stole a whole shopping cart worth of items and tried to run out. I understand people steal stuff I get that but she didn't know the situation and automatically tried to call the cops on me. I will never shop here again and I don't think anyone else should. Unbelievable.

Winco is my favorite store. Always open and cheap. You can find anything you are looking for.
