CVS has been out of my meds several times recently. I am post chemo/radiation and need pain medication due to injury to an injury to my lower back following a specialized chemo injection in my bone marrow. Safeway received the rx from my dr and had it ready I just s few hrs after waiting for 3 days for cvs to finally tell me they didn't think they were going to get the meds anytime soon and it affected all of their stores. CVS could have told me days sooner. Thank you Safeway for helping me in my recovery journey with the big C. I'm on month 2 now with 24 hr service from them

Oh my God. Never have I ever had a more terrible experience. Long story short, CVS from across the street sent me to Safeway Pharmacy to receive my daughter's prescription since all local CVS pharmacies were out of my toddler's medication. There were two women working there, and the one I am focusing on is who I assume was the pharmacist. She was unfriendly, not professional and incredibly rude. I explained that CVS had called my prescription in and she barked that they didn't receive it yet and to come back in 20 minutes I'm too early. I ask when they close. As I walk away she yells asking if I have ever been there and I have not so I needed to come back and register with the other lady at the register. I then leave to go home to my other children as I'm exhausted and 8+ months pregnant. My MIL so graciously returns for me 20 minutes later and the same woman is so unprofessional and states, "Oh she sent you back for her didn't she?" My MIL thought that was bizarre.I expect to speak to the Manager of this Safeway Pharmacy and would be happy to speak to corporate as well.

I never write reviews but I wouldn't want anyone else being so excited to celebrate something and have to deal with horrible customer service and a cake that is nothing like what you asked for. I called so excited because I was having a small gender reveal with my family, the lady who answered the phone was so rude and no help while I was trying to figure out what they offer for a gender reveal cake or cup cake. I go into the store to give them the envelope( that has my gender) as well as try to get a better understanding of what my cake will look like. The lady that helped me seemed so careless in helping me with the design. I settled on ombré of white blue and pink. My husband went to pick up the cake and it was lopsided, and there was no ombré it was white at the top then solid blue and then solid pink. It was such a a poor experience. Most people are coming to the bakery excited to celebrate a special event and they are met with a horrible customer service experience and a cake that looks nothing they paid for! I will never use this bakery.

I gotta say I love there sandwiches, you know what I don't love. Them never having enough bread, they are out of bacon by 3:30-4 o'clock, it's disappointing when 4 out of 5 times we have been recently they are always out. Whether is it 6 in the morning when they open or afternoon they always don't have something. Just think they can do better.

Does this look like a Disney Cars cake???? Nope!!! Why??? No toys/decor and didn't even have any icing decor to compensate for the missing toys smh.

Only Safeway near where I live that has a DMV NOW KIOSK to renew my vehicle registration and more. Also this location is very clean and staff is always friendly and selection of products are almost always available.

The staff here is exceptionally rude, especially the two older ladies. I think one of them is some type of manager. I had an experience today where I accidentally went into the express lane because I didn't see the sign. The cashier immediately began yelling at me "hello! This is the express lane! Can't you read? Look at the sign! See! Express lane!" To which I replied "sorry I didn't see but that was a little rude". She then began to mock me in a very sarcastic tone, "sorryyyy it's so Loud over here I can't hear you yeah okay you're sorry but this is the express lane mmhmm bye". How very unnecessary

Looks like they spent a lot of money on remodeling this Safeway! Too bad the workers are so rude and unhelpful! The Deli Department, you get rolling eyes when you tell them what you need cut. It's very inconvenient for them to help the customers. Cashiers are the same they just don't care about being nice and friendly. This store is a close to my house I started going to the Downtown Safeway it's so much better.

First time I have ever been discriminated against in my life. Walked into the store for the first time ever and was approached by six police officers who told me that the manager says he saw me and my girlfriend stealing earlier in the day. I explained to them that we've Never been there before and that they should go review the cameras. After detaining us for 30 minutes and secretly reviewing the cameras we were told that the camera guy was not present and the manager was not interested in selling us the ice cream in our basket. Don't go to Safeway in Brentwood on Balfour if you are not Caucasian. The officers were really nice and only doing their jobs

Closed!!!!! Came in around 8pm to order some items from the bakery and the floral department and they were both closed. We went on a Thursday night and was going after work to make plans for our kid's birthday party. When we went into the bakery there was a young lady working there packaging items. Lights were off but she was working. So I simply asked if I could put in an order. She just shook her head and said, "sorry I'm closed". Then we went to the floral department and there was a sign that read... Sorry we missed you, please see the front desk for assistance. But since there was an associate walking back into floral to wash his hands I asked if there was someone who could help me put in an order? He said, "no they are closed". I could have sworn that when a department is closed for the day that the sister departments or management would step in to help. Not everyone works 8-5/9-6/10-7 to be able to come into the store and order their items before the department's normal hours. I get it! You are short staffed, your associates are very tired. But aren't we all? I was very disappointed with the service overall. I have never had a bad experience with this store or the associates. Everyone is super nice don't get me wrong, even the ones I encountered yesterday were not unpleasant by any means. But maybe change how you operate a store to suit the customer's needs. Back in my day we used to be World Class Service. Any store can sell what you sell. We come back for the service....

I honestly do not have the energy nor the belief in anyone at Safeway caring about this post... But I would love to get the understanding behind a renovation when all of your shelves look like this... For the last two years, this store has had empty shelves. You can't tell me it's a supply chain problem when I can easily go to other Safeways in the area or Trader Joe's and get everything I need... The only reason I come here is because Trader Joe's does not have the coffee that I like. Safeway, you would've been better closing the store and putting your money somewhere else.. this is the purest definition of putting lipstick on a pig.

Be careful ordering event cupcakes from the bakery. I Ordered/paid for 24 cupcakes on Friday 26th 21 for my sons first birthday. I came early Sunday morning the day I was suppose to pick up and I asked if they were ready before my pick up time if not I could pick up at the actual pick up time. The lady said she didn't have my order and they didn't make my 24 cupcakes I stated they were supposed to be made by 9am today and I paid for them on FRIDAY. She said sorry that maybe she could find at another Safeway or she would make it work. I stated I wasn't leaving until I knew she was baking them. She said she was going to make it happen. I came back at 9am and discovered that she had scraped off all the bright colored frosting on top and slapped the color brown I wanted on top. That would have been okay but they looked trashy! I paid for them to be baked and they didn't make them so they threw some trashy looking cupcakes together. I wasn't going to serve my guests this. So I ended up having to buy a cake last min. I will NEVER use the bakery for anything ever again.

Great store! Just watch parking there- Our SUV was hit there today 11/6/21 at 2:15 pm in a correctly parked space. Completely side swiped and driver drove off with no information for us. Nice to come put and see your new vehicle all damaged! Angry how people are so dishonest and have no respect for others property! ?

This place seemed OK but the long lines get old. I don't know if it's low staffing or management just doesn't care, but it is not worth going here despite it being close.
