Had a message today. Place is clean & the girls are nice but my massage wasn't the best. They said I'd have a "light pressure" massage therapist because that's all who was available but geez, no pressure AT ALL?! I honestly felt as if she wasn't trying to touch me. Barley felt ANYTHING. Barley messaged my legs & feet. All I felt was her fingertips the entire time. I was uncomfortable the WHOLE session. I feel as if all therapists should perform at all pressure levels & the person getting the message can choose what they want in the room. I received a message envy gift card for my birthday & I feel like I wasted it. Not exactly the way I wanted to kick off my birthday. Really disappointed.

My beautiful wife gifted me a membership for Christmas and I've enjoyed Massage Envy ever since! The front desk ladies are always helpful and they do their best to be accommodating. The therapists I have had have been great and do a great job. One thing that is nice about Massage Envy is there are therapists with different styles which offers a nice variety. I recommend trying them out and if you like your trial session, I recommend signing up for their membership!

I was able to book same say and had a very great experience for some much needed TLC. I've only been to one other spa and I wasn't really sure what to expect. I will definitely be back to this location.

I could not have had a worst experience. When booking my appointment I had asked for a woman to do my massage. When I arrive at the front desk staff was very unwelcoming. Straight Faced and rude. I get to the back and meet the person who’s going to do my massage. It was A person who was born a male but dressed as a woman. I in no way stereo type or anything like that. But having a man tell me to undress and doing my massage after I already asked for a woman very very uncomfortable. I struggle with ptsd and I was extremely uncomfortable. His pressure was way to hard and I the next day and I’m extreme pain. He was leaning over me breathing heavy and getting his hair stuck all over to my back covered in oil. It was DISGUSTING and an awe full experience. Not to mention I was trying to be friendly with the masseuse and conversation to lighten up the tension and he was extremely rude and unfriendly. If you get assigned “Juana” please ask for somebody else….

I usually have no complaints about this place and I would probably give this review a one if it wasn't for massage therapist being amazing. My complaint is I guess with the front staff. They allowed a customer to bring their two kids with them to the appointment. This is supposed to be a place for relaxation and it was the opposite after checking in and waiting for appointment start time. They have four seats in the back room, which is usually enough but when you have this customer, her two kids and another customer, all there was left for me to do was stand. I guess that wouldn't be so horrible if I wasn't in so much pain and discomfort and 6 months PREGNANT! Did the kids have any manners and give up a seat or did the mom who had her face in her phone the whole time offer me hers? Nope. Thankfully the other customer was very nice and let me have her seat. So while waiting, trying to start my relaxation in this area, the kids are bickering, knocking over their drinks and having a sword fight with their balloon animals. Meanwhile, again, the mom just has her face in her phone not saying a word for them to be quiet. I don't know why I thought the kids would be going away when the mom was called back for her appointment...the mom went back for her facial and the kids were left unattended in the waiting room! Again, if this pregnancy wasn't already causing me so much pain and discomfort, I would have left right then and there. I would like to hope that this isn't a common thing that happens and hopefully can write a more positive review the next time I have my appointment.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Over $2400 was withdrawn from my account and then they closed location and refused to contact me! I had 31 credits due to the fact they never had availability less than a month+ in advance for the times i was available. Then they closed due to covid and froze my credits I was a member of the San Ramon massage envy which is the same owners as the Brentwood location. They shut down with zero notice to their members. I found out by going directly to the location as it is now a cell phone store. I contacted Massage Envy corporate and they told me I needed to get in contact with the closed business (Since they are all independently owned and operated) Which was not responding to any of my countless emails. I have had a few people tell me those who work there and those who are previously manage locations that Brentwood is the same owners as San Ramon. I've tried to leave several messages and no returns have been made. I am mortified that im supposed to just let $2400 go Do yourself a favor and find a more ethical, honest company that wont send you on a wild goose chase to get answers that lead nowhere. Although front staff was pleasant, No one Informed me that you are required to wear a mask throughout your entire massage until I was 5 minutes in to a 90 min massage! It made my entire experience miserable. Because I was so uncomfortable & couldn't breath freely. The room was freezing & my therapist was way to rough & used way to much pressure! I would have never scheduled and waisted my gift cards if I was informed of the mask mandate! I waisted $150 and will never return.

Greeted by smiles and positive energy from the front desk staff, then proceeded with an amazing massage by Danielle. I had a deep tissue to get out the knots from my intense work out that's been leaving me sore to the point where I couldn't sleep at night. After the massage was over, I came home feeling at ease knowing that "sleep is going to be wonderful tonight..." and it was. :) Thanks Massage Envy! Also, if you had trouble booking online like I did, since for some reason, their available slots didn't show up for the entire month, just call them and they'll help you out!

I have been using massage envy for some time now. Although I was always greeted with a friendly staff and never had any issues even after serval appointments I had scheduled for over a month were canceled on me the day before, I was always understanding and accommodated to them. But just the other day I sent my mom to get a massage. She’s been there several times before no issues. She gets discriminated for not speaking fluent English. She checked in to her appointment and when Amber notices that she’s not fluent denies the services, even after my mom explained to her that she is able to communicate with her. Sorry but this time I can’t be so understanding. Sad they lost business over something like this. I hope they learn from their mistakes and don’t make someone else feel the way my mom did. Called a few other massage envy’s explained the situation and was told that a language barrier wouldn’t be a reason they would deny services. Time to take my business else where.
