Been doing blood test here for almost 3 months now. Every time I am greeted with a smile and professionalism. I love this place. The line goes very quickly. I have never had to wait long. The tests are also taken quickly.

Took my 5 year old for a blood test. 2 lab technicians drew the blood but they were totally unfriendly and unprofessional. This made my child very uncomfortable. These guys need to be trained for some empathy/sympathy! they treated like how they would treat an adult. One of the guy also got irritated when my child started crying. dude you need to understand that it is 5 year old and you are injecting a syringe into his tiny arms!! totally unpleasant experience.

Took my 4 year old in after leaving urgent care to get blood work to check for infection. Two different women tried to draw blood both were rushing and poking around in his arm to trying to catch the vein after 2 pokes both being unsuccessful they asked us to come back tomorrow to try ,this was about 35 minutes until they closed . They were the worst and they didn't even try to make a 4 years old experience non traumatizing so now he has to go back to the lab tomorrow and he is very afraid. They could have spent a bit more time looking for a vein before shoving a needle in his arm and then poking it in n out and all around just ridiculous and the fact they did that twice . Hire people who are capable of doing their job regardless of the age of the patient.and what's worse is that they could have taken their time because we were the only patient at the time .

This review is specific to front desk support staff AMBER. I believe she fronts Saturdays. I was checking in 10:59 30 secs am today and she turned down offering me blood test. As I am diabetic and was on fasting , I had to rush 25 miles further to Walnut Creek as I cannot be on fasting for a long time. Stay away from AMBER at Labcorp John Muir Brentwood, zero empathy and sensibility much necessary in this profession

Building opened late. Had labs which required fasting. Attempted to check in at kiosk but didn't know which selection with paper orders. Tried to ask for help but was blown off by lady at desk being told "I'llget to yiu when Iget to you". She didn't even ask my name. Then she wouldn't look at my paperwork and asked me what labs were requested. If I knew, I wouldn't have asked for help. She proceeded to tell me that they couldn't accommodate me until after 12:15pm. Mind you, I'm fasting and this is a walk up lab. Additionally, due to my job, weekends are the only time that I can do lab work and they're only open for limited hours. Every time I come here, particularly Brentwood location, it's a worse experience that before. It's all the people at the desk. The ones that take my labs, when I can actually get to thst point, are usually profesional.

Very unprofessional staff, i was doing my routine annual checkup, and the guy refused to print a related document to my checkup of one paper for me on a Thanksgiving day although he had a printer right behind him. I can't find anywhere else to print it. They are very disrespectful of the patient's time.

I’ve come to this location 5+ times and have had negative experiences all but 1 time. Unfortunately the next closest location is at least 30 min away + during traffic time and with children and childcare it’s just not convenient to go farther so I find myself continuously coming here and getting frustrated. If you have the option to go elsewhere, do it.Staff is rude. All of them. I had one nice tech, and she didn’t even work at this location she was filling in for someone else (go figure).First appt… I made an appointment. Waited 45 min before being seen. It wasn’t busy. But I waited while they chit chatted at the front desk.Never made an appt again.Just went in for my glucose test (I’m 7 months pregnant) Got there at 4:08. Said they couldn’t see me because they close at 5 and they need an hour for the test. Told me to come in the morning. Can’t come in the morning because my Husband works and we don’t have childcare. Have to come when he’s off work. Said I’d be back the next day.Came back the next day. Got there at 3:55. A woman said they couldn’t see me because they need more time. Said I should be there no later than 3:30 and that they couldn’t see me. I told her what the guy the day before told me . She Told me to go to Walnut Creek because they are open until 9 and that they couldn’t see me.Walnut Creek. On a Friday. At 4PM.There was another woman there at the time that overheard this and told me she also thought it was ridiculous. Sounded to both of us like they didn’t want to stay a minute past 5. Especially because as I was checking in (at 3:55) someone took a patient in the back and said “last patient of the day”.Go somewhere else if you can. Unless you want to be irritated and frustrated and treated poorly/rudely.

Extremely disappointing experience. The receptionist just didn’t know how to read the test ordered. She was trying to send me back. She wouldn’t talk to the physician who sent the order. I couldn’t connect them on the phone due to poor reception in that area. Finally it turned out that she “missed” reading the part that had the order number printed. She didn’t even have the basic courtesy to apologize. Extremely incompetent staff!! Never visiting again.

There’s many choices of labs DON’T USE THIS ONE! We followed the guidelines and made an appointment a day earlier and they didn’t acknowledge the appointment and denied service or attention just because they were rude and to busy to address their frustration. Because of this my husband ONCOLOGY appointment was delayed due to there incompetence to assist patients with respect. Save the grief and waste of time with this unprofessional staff at the front desk. Bad service ????????
