Hotel staffs are really nice and my room was clean & spacious. I liked my stay except the neighbor as it’s right next to Dutch Bros coffee where they play loud music, and because there is always long line on their drive thru, people driving by making noise, arguing, shouting that even cop showed up (close to midnight). I was told to call the front desk next time it happened.
Everything else was perfect.

Amy, the person who helped me with checking in, was a delight to work with. She was personable and professional.
The room had everything I needed to make it a comfortable stay. Parking can be a bit challenging if you come late evening. Overall, I’m impressed with this location. Clean & comfortable rooms and great service.

Not my favorite place but it's somewhere to stay. The wall heater was so loud and partially working we had to switch rooms. Another thing is the noise is loud. You can here everything everywhere. Lastly the breakfast they offer is kinda laughable. We went over to that and there wad so little there the only thing we found was a stale bagel? The very few things they had were empty but I wouldn't have eaten it if it was full anyway. So today we are going to drive somewhere to get something to eat. The people at the desk are very nice though.

Nice and clean, rooms are very nice, close to everything you would need.
Nearby activities: Bowling alley near, farmers market on the streets of Brentwood closed off on weekends for shopping, early morning.
Food & drinks: Food is available near by down the street there's Brentwood favorite LA Costa for authentic Mexican food, bowling alley has a nice bar pool tables, also down the street walking distance.

This place is AMAZING! We stayed here 29Nov-6Dec 2024 and experienced a FANTASTIC stay due to the Friendliest, Happiest Staff, CLEANEST rooms, comfiest beds and pillows, dog-friendly with a convenient and tidy dog area [and a safe loop to walk off property if needed] and the FABULOUS complimentary breakfast had a wide variety and was always hot and plentiful with a serving/dining area that was always meticulously CLEAN. The mini-suite we had was spacious, modern, and wifi was outstanding. Room also had a mini-fridge and k-cup with coffee provided. We have stayed at another pet friendly hotel in Brentwood in years past and there is NO going back, this establishment has us loyal as well as willing to check out this chain in our other travels. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

On Sept. 11, 2023, I made a reservation to stay at this Holiday Inn Express for local business, i.e. training, near the hotel. The date of my stay would be Oct 23, & 24, 2023, however, my clients changed the location, and therefore, I cancelled my reservation. This was done on Oct 11, 2023, (12 days before my scheduled stay). I received a copy of my cancellation via email. Despite the cancellation, which was allowable until Oct 22, the hotel billed me for 1 night's stay. I immediately called the hotel and talked to the front desk and the General Manager (GM). The GM kept telling me that they didn't show a cancellation in their system, so I offered to email him my copy. He gave me, the wrong email address twice. The third time, I contacted the front desk and asked for a different email - which worked. Promises were made that the GM would call me back twice, and that has not happened (3 days later). I am now working with Corporate; the next step - my credit card to dispute the charge; the next is a legal action. I will never stay at this location and advise others to not stay here as well. The GM and front desk kept telling me that they don't see the cancellation in their system. As a customer, that is not my concern, nor my fault, especially, when I have a confirmed cancellation (from their system). I am extremely disappointed and now awaiting a 48 hour return call!Two days later and no call from the hotel. I reached back out to Corporate and they shared that the hotel will be issuing a "Good Will Credit", because there was a cancellation policy in force with my reservation. The cancellation policy stated that the reservation could be cancelled 24 hours prior to the scheduled stay. I asked Corporate to note that the hotel was not correct and made an error - that they were not willing to admit to. I have copies of everything - the policy and the cancellation.Per Corporate the refund of $223.73 should appear (on my credit card) in a couple of days. Still no call from the HOTEL! I travel a lot on business and definitely will not be staying at this location; and will be sharing this experience with my friends and family!Noteworthy details: The hotel is horrible in keeping promises and resolving matters.

This place is in need of repairs. Not very clean and the house keeping seems to need improvement. Sofa bed had no sheets, no problem, go to call the front desk, room phone doesn’t work, again not a big deal but frustrating. After awhile the small things just add up to make it an unpleasant experience. The redeeming factor was that the staff were very kind.

DONT STAY HERE THEY WILL SCAM YOU FOR YOUR DEPOSIT!!! First of all, this place was extremely overpriced, and the only reason we stay there was because Best Western was already booked... No wonder everyone would rather stay there. I don't think the room was occupied for more than eight hours, because after check in, we literally ordered some food, took a nap and got back on the road . The room was basic, they had debris outside of the window which was an eyesore, and the beds were way too hard with flat pillows. Nonetheless, it was just a rest stop. As i do in every hotel, I took the sheets off the bed before I left and put all my trash from the day in the garbage and left the room very clean for the housekeeper. To my surprise three days later I get notification that I am getting charged for smoking in the room, when I don't even smoke! The manager also claims to have opened the trash bag that I tied up, went through all of our trash and found ashes in a cup... They sent a picture of a cup filled with wet debris and trash that definitely didn't indicate smoking took place. And I find it incredibly disgusting and intrusive that they're opening guests tied up trash bags and going through them. I brought bags from the car and organized them/threw away garbage, etc. so they don't know what personal belongings they could've ran into with my confidential information to be going through my trash . Creepy and gross. Regardless, we were wrongfully accused and charged for something that didn't take place. I will be filing a complaint with BBB and contacting corporate.
