We board our dog here. They take good care of him - he’s always excited to go. They provide photo updates every so often by email. Reasonable rates, particularly for longer-term boarding.

My recent visit to Derty Dog Canine Retreat left me with mixed feelings. While the daycare was notably cheaper compared to others, there were several aspects that left me disappointed. On the positive side, the cost was a big draw. However, the condition of the overnight cages outside was disheartening - they appeared worn down and uninviting. This raised concerns about my dog's comfort, especially during colder months. What struck me the most was the difference in my expectations versus the reality of the visit. I anticipated my dog enjoying interaction with other dogs, but instead, she ended up in a one-on-one session with an employee. While I understand that there were limited staff members (only two, as far as I could tell), it was disappointing that my dog's social interaction seemed minimal, and it left me wondering if he spent most of the time in a cage. The lack of enrichment activities was another letdown. The overall experience didn't seem to offer the level of engagement and playtime I had hoped for. I couldn't help but feel that my money didn't translate into the quality of care I had expected. Interestingly, I've been visiting a Petsmart doggy daycare lately, and despite it being a chain, they seem to go the extra mile for the dogs. The services they offer, including better enrichment and more social interaction, make it a more fulfilling experience for both the dogs and their owners. The surprising part is that the price point is on par with what I paid at Derty Dog. In conclusion, while the affordability of Derty Dog Canine Retreat is a strong point, it unfortunately falls short in terms of the overall experience and care provided to the dogs. Given the subpar conditions, lack of enrichment, and limited interaction, I wouldn't consider returning. For a more fulfilling and value-added experience, Petsmart's doggy daycare seems to offer a better alternative.

Super caring staff! I use them to board my guy on trips and he seems to love it. They take notes of each visit so they remember exactly what your pup needs.

Colt and his staff are awesome! I had to go out of town and they boarded Rascal my timid foster dog. They connected well with him on Rascals terms. But Rascal was very happy about the stay!! Highly recommended!!

I was so excited to try this place out! My dog loves to play outside and socialize. After reading reviews and looking at the website I thought it would be a great fit and I was happy to give it a go. Unfortunately, when I picked her up (from two days spent at daycare and one night boarded) she was extremely dehydrated!! It was over 100 degrees and there were numerous dogs, including mine, in outdoor kennels. I understand that kenneling dogs overnight is advertised on the website. I had no issue with this due temperatures dropping and it being safe for animals to be outside late evening/overnight. BUT I was shocked to to discover they were locked in the kennels during the day. My dog's nose was completely dry, she was panting for hours after I brought her home, she didn't eat, she just laid on the floor, and I spend a good portion of my night trying to get her to drink water. This felt like major neglect and I would think twice before taking your dog here.

Had my dogs boarded for 2 weeks. Received updates on how my furbabies were doing through out their stay. Staff were very kind and pleasant. Received my babies freshly bathe and smelling great. I can tell Bucky and Chase enjoyed their stay. Will definitely use Derty Dog again. Thank you.

Great Service, Staff, and Price = WOW Experience !This was my first time using this service and it was (1) week during the Christmas holiday.I was very pleased with the service and will definitely use the boarding and day visits again. The facility was clean with plenty of options for indoor/outdoor exercise and spaces to accommodate various sizes and personalities. This was good for me because my dog is 60+ plus pounds.The communication was good for a holiday stay, I did receive replies per my email inquiries to how Bella was doing.Bella enjoyed as well, she cried when she was dropped off back home and moped for a couple of days. She is very active and plays well with others so I'm sure she made and missed friends.Yes, I said dropped off, my flight was delayed I sent an email asked if she could be dropped off that I was not going to make pickup time. I received a prompt reply of no problem.The owner dropped her off and to my surprise she was returned to me bathed and smelling great. The owner was very professional and personable as were all the staff.Rowan was my first point of contact when Bella and I took a tour, she was GREAT! and definitely was the key factor in my decision to try this service.Now I feel like I can travel and no Bella has a place we are both good with.

I have been sending my dog to derty dog for a while and so has my Mom. My GSD has no problem going with them when I drop him off and he comes uback exhausted but happy. I bet he feels like a King there and enjoys running on the treadmill. He is not super dog friendly but he seems to do well with his boarding friends at Derty dog which is great for me to know as a dog Mom. Harry is always ready to play, run and bark and he seems free to do that while there which what he needs/wants. I always recommend Derty dog to any dog parents. They have a great playground for big dogs and a great area for small dogs or geriatric dogs. Either way they will be cared for and loved at Derty dog.

Greaaat place! I'm so thankful that I found a place close to home to Board my dogs! It was a very easy drop off/pick up! Due to weather we had to extend our trip by a day. They were very accommodating! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and most importantly the dogs were happy!
