I had taken my tire off at home, in hopes it would be a quicker repair. Even though it took longer than I was told, I'm uping my review to 4 star. Now it's weeks later and the leak they fixed is holding great! Good job BigO?

Had a flat tire. It took about 45 minutes start to end, exactly their estimated time. They worked clean and nice. Pleased of their service and customer care. A very crowded place and now you know why

Dropped a tire off on a Friday. They say they will call me that day when it’s ready and I can just drive up and they will put my tire on. No need to wait. It’s now Monday, I call they say it’s ready. I’ve sat here 45 and see two different cars pull up with flats and they put their tires on no problem. After an 1.25 hrs they pull my car in and have to now repair my tire that was never fixed in the first place. The whole purpose of dropping my tire off was to save time sitting here. Will not return here again.

These guys are smooth talkers, but don't necessarily trust them. They tried talking my kid into a CV axle joint replacement before they'd do an alignment. Didn't need it. Also missed a mail in our tire. Just not reliable.

Update: Jeff the owner called my wife and made the situation right. I appreciate businesses that fix their mistakes. Review corrected.Where do I start... My wife visited Big O on Wednesday last week for 4 new tires. On Thursday morning she awoke to 1 of the tires flat. She proceeded to drive it down there and it was fixed. On Friday she took my car to Big for 4 new tires. On Saturday morning when I went to leave for the day 1 of the new tires on that car was flat, which led me to take her car for the day. She then called Big O as she had no way to air the tire up. They sent someone down to put air in the tire, and he accused her of driving over a nail in the 2 miles she drove the car home the previous day. He then discovered there was no nail and had her drive it back to Big O for it to be repaired. She talked to the Manager who stated he would call her back with a resolution to make her feel better about the situation. It is now Tuesday the following week and no phone call has been made. We have been going to this location for over 20 years and spent 2k last week on tires, not receiving a promised call back is ridiculous. It is also ridiculous for a tire shop not to know how to install tires. If this happened to 2 of my vehicles in 1 week, I am sure it is happening to a lot more people. I will never visit this location again and will be sure to tell everyone I encounter to do the same. No one should have to visit a tire shop 4 days in a row for something so simple.

This has been a long road with this particular Big-O. I recently moved from Livermore to Oakley I used Big-O in Livermore with no issues in the past. For regular maintenance I had the tires rebalanced through their Brentwood shop. And then had an oil change and tire rotation done. Afterwards I had a significant and alarming amount of vibration while driving. I inspected for myself and discovered that my wheel was not sitting flush on my hub. (A very dangerous situation) I had driven about 600 miles like this with vibrations becoming worse and worse. I brought the vehicle back in for them to look at and had a good conversation with their manager Marco who took the situation seriously. It turned out that they had double stacked the hub centering rings on my vehicle. Not paying attention. After speaking with him we worked out a deal. I wanted to get the idler and pitman arm replaced to have the steering tightened up. So to make things right he had given me a discounted labor rate. I have their unlimited 5-year alignment plan, so I also replaced my own inner and outer tie rods apart from their shop. Since the vehicle needed to be aligned anyways. (I let them know I replaced these in advance to the appointment). Took the vehicle in for this change. Still having vibration. I look under my vehicle and my jaw dropped. Their shop stripped the threads on my brand new tie rods during their alignment process. Even after this I still have extreme vibration when driving down the road. Turns out that all 4 of my tires were extremely out of balance. And to balance them now, due to the extreme amount of cupping on my tires they have to triple stack weights and the wear patter will remain on these tires for the life of the tire. My tires are 1 year old BF Goodrich all terrains…285/70/R17… far from a cheap tire. I was about ready to go back in and sort this out with Marco again, but at this point I do not trust them to touch any vehicle of mine ever again. At this rate the only way they could make this right is if they pro- rate my current tires due to the damage and headache this has caused me, let alone the danger from the mis-mounted wheel with the bad tire balancing. Attached are the photos of my tire cupping (high spot and low spot on treads) and my damage brand new tie Rod. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR

I've just moved to Brentwood and used Big O once. The price was right and work was done well. My reason for 4 stars is the wait time for a tire repair was very long.

Two weeks ago, I was on my home from the Oakland Airport and I got a flat tire. I installed the donut spare and limped back to Brentwood to Big O tire. I showed up around 3:00 and Marco was quick to helping me out. I left my tire to be patched and he said he would call if there were any issues. Well, turns out the tire couldn't be patched since I had damaged it pretty bad. He was able to sell me a new tire (my tires were three months old and I didn't get the warranty) and get me back on the road! He had me come back ten minutes before closing and swapped out the spare for the new tire. All of this at the end of the day, two hours prior to closing. He could have easily sent me on my way to the next shop, but he did me a solid and helped even though all bays were full when I got there. Thanks Marco and crew for the help. I appreciate it.
