You are force to buy amount of candy of every kind which are all prepacked. and the taste of the candy is all HARDEN AND EXPIRE. I rather go somewhere else u have freedom to get the candy and the amount you want. we have to throw away most of the candy cuz it taste bad and it's so HARD like it was sitting there for a year

Umm...almost $11 for about three little bags of candy?! Really?!I used to go to Sweet Factory back in the day when there used to be a location at the Main Place Mall. Out of nostalgia, I was drawn into here when I was recently at the Brea Mall.Post COVID, candy is now pre-bagged in little bags -- so gone are the days of the tongs and scoops where you can pick the quantity that you want. The woman working couldn't have cared less if I were there or not. No greeting. Zero customer service. Kind of made me want to drop the candy and Ieave - but whatever.I got three little bags of candy -- two bags of sour belt and one of licorice. $10.55. Really?!I could have gone to the grocery store and about between four and six boxes of Sour Patch Kids or something like that. Definite rip off. 2022: 118/100

Came in on my break so I could stop by and get some sweets. The young cashier did not even look up to greet me or the family that walked in after me. When I was being rang up, I asked if they have a mall employee discount (when I rudely cut off by the worker without even finishing my sentence) and she said they didn't. I always used to come by even before they moved stores and they did offer a mall employee discount, don't know what happened to that. It's fine if they don't have it anymore, but I know this location doesn't have the best track record of having nice employees.

They will not greet you if you are not Korean. They will up charge you if you are not Asian and then refuse to provide you with a receipt when you ask for one. Something shady going on here.

They charged me $15 for a few pieces of taffy and Starburst. Way overpriced, but I knew this going in so whatever, it was convenient. However, when I got to my car, I tried a piece of the taffy and it was so bad I had to spit it out. I went back to get a refund or store credit or something and they said they could not give me a refund because it was food that I bought and preceeded to rudely explain to me the concept of selling and returning food. I spoke to a manager who even more rudely told me that I could talk to whoever I wanted to in the mall, but there was no way she was ever going to give me my money back. Don't go here! Overpriced and bad candy! Just find a local Target or something, I promise you'll be happier, and the staff won't be nearly as rude!

5 stars for the sweets!! The mall is a slow dying breed, especially when your favorite stores start closing left and right! I was losing faith in the malls when Aeropostale closed in the malls (including this one). The malls were letting me down and I found myself avoiding it like the plague LOL! A few weeks ago my sister and I started talking about making a trip to Sweet Factory since it has been ages! We avoid the malls on weekends and holidays, so we knew it was going to be on a weekday. Fast forward to this past week and we finally got the chance!! First off, a wonderful female employee greeted us right away and gave us a basket since we came to stock up! We weren't playing! I loved how she took our bags and left them at the counter already weighed out so we could continue to go nuts with our candy LOL. AND... if you have AAA you get a 10% discount off your bill! Bonus! Most places don't offer AAA discounts anymore so this was cherry on top! I'm already planning on my next trip back which I hope is sooner than later! Winner winner chicken dinner!! ^__^
