The owner messaged me, this is what he said:I apologize for our misdiagnosis. Please give me a call during business hours and let me see what I can do to recitfy the situation. Patrick H.I called. The lady who answered was surprised. I told her he told me to call him. She said he does not even live in California, he lives in Texas. So I said, again he told me to call him, can you just give him my message?No response.I called back a week later to give him the benefit of the doubt and to end the mystery. This time a man said why don't I just give you his email. He did. I emailed and said: Hello Patrick,At your request on Yelp I did try to call you and I never heard back from you. You probably did not get the message. I spoke just now to someone at your shop and I was given your email address.Over to you.Here is his response: Good morning Eva, I did get your message but being in Texas I'm going to rely on my management team to resolve your issue, seeing as they were there when everything happened. Please call the shop and talk to Rob (my shop manager). Try calling next week because I know Rob is going to be gone for the rest of this week.To which I replied: Call Rob and say what? I'm responding to your request to call you.Nothing since, crickets.I consider this matter closed. Note to Patrick: Don't contact me again.

I recently took my truck here for some maintenance and also to replace my suspension. Rob and his team took great care of me. I have recommended all my friends and family to go here as they are genuinely honest and pricing is very reasonable. It's difficult to find a shop to trust these days but this one definitely stands out.

When Rob was in the front, he did everything for me. He ran diagnostic on the car, told me what I needed to change and made it work. He made it very personable and showed experience. If he was still in the front, I would still be getting my car serviced by them. This new guy now works in the front and tried to overcharge me immensely for an A/C repair that was not gonna take much time at all and was for a part that was less than 1/5 of the total for the repair. Overall extremely displeased with the newer staff member that ruined a great place that used to be at a great price.

Quality of work and professionalism is incredible. The shop is very clean and the front office looks even better. They aren't the cheapest in town but have the best warranty and stand by it. Rob, the manager, was very nice and accommodating to my situation

Not very helpful. This place is a rip off. I had my Mercedes in their shop since Feb. I was waiting for another shop to take over the repair. I was told the vehicle was taken in the shop, only to my surprise, the car had been left outside the whole time. I was told they were understaffed and didn't have time to fix my car. The service associate Danny was very rude. Don't recommend this place at all. Be aware- they will give you false hopes and take your money. Not a very reputable place. They left the car outside for months causing bird poop to stick which ruined the paint. I had trust this place with my three cars. Little did I know I was getting ripped off. Don't go to this place.

Finding an auto shop that you can trust is hard to do these days. But I can attest that Rob and his crew are great at what they do and honest! They do top notch work, and stand behind it! Whenever we have a vehicle that needs more than I can do at home I can rely on the team at Star Auto Service to get the work done correctly, quickly and professionally! Their shop is well organized and clean! I can't recommend then enough.
