This location went downhill incredibly fast. When they first opened I was so excited to have a location closer to me and the options were way better than your standard pet store. The first couple months this store was open, the staff were always attentive and helpful with the owner always being at the location as well. I had been going there for a few months after and probably spent at minimum $150 each visit every other week so I was there frequently. Things were great, until they weren't. My first issue, the discounts constantly given when they were first opened. Each visit I was always without a doubt given 15% off. This lasted for a few months during the time where the owner was always there being attentive and the staff were helpful. Then they stopped. No discounts or anything from that point forward. That's honestly fine by me, but what bothers me it was a clear way to attract customers at first. I'm not one to put up a fight about it, but I'm sure other people would. Quite a cheap way to get a customer base. My second issue, the unstable shipments. I don't even know where to begin here. I had been using Wellness Core as a dry base for forever until they completely stopped getting it in. I kept getting told to "call on Tuesdays", and I did just that-for about a month and a half. At that point I just decided to give up and switch to another food base Open Farm which is just as unstable in shipments. The worst of it is the complete barren aisles that had been empty from November to just last week in which still they only got about half back in stock what I needed and had been asking for since November. The first and most important one was Elk Antlers that I myself bought the last 3 they had in Mid November, and they still have not gotten any more in stock. I called every week and finally the girl in charge of shipments (who honestly always seems like she is in such an upset mood), said that she was the one who orders the product and that I can have a special order placed. Great! Not, really. After taking down my name, number, and product SKU, she said they will arrive in the next shipment. Well, next shipment came and no Elk Antlers. That day the owners happened to be there which was the first time I had seen them in months and they acted like completely different people then when the store first opened. Rude, short, and had a chip on their shoulder. I asked about the special order and they had no idea what I was talking about and said no they never got any and kept saying next shipment. At this point I had gotten frustrated and explained that they have been saying that since November and they offered to place a special order for me. Huh? I literally did that already and they acted like that would solve the problem. These are just two instances of the SEVEN items I have been calling about that they still have not received but these two were the ones that really bothered me. This whole stores atmosphere changed so quickly and what used to be a great store that I would spend hundreds of dollars at each month is now just a pit stop for essentials (if they have them, probably not!). The atmosphere is depressing now, the workers are either rude or completely clueless, and they have no product so... I ended up starting to go to the Pet Wants store up by where Vons used to be and they are GREAT! Have way better stuff and the staff are so nice! They said that a lot of customers have been coming there who used to shop at Pet Supplies Plus so, check it out! I'll probably still come here for an item or two like dry kibble, but definitely not a staple store

My wife and I bathed our dog in the store’s pet wash area for the first time. Our experience went smoothly and it wasn’t too hard on our dog. I especially like the bathing stall that’s waist high so washing our dog wasn’t back breaking. Shampoo and towels for drying are provided. Like the friendly staff, too. Also, found some dog toys for gifting at Christmas.

I wish there were more raw options but they do have what I need for my chihuahuas. I do like the self serve dog wash option as well. Also very clean all the time.

The store is always clean. I love the frequent adoptions they host, and the discounts offered via their instagram account. The only reason I am rating 4 out of 5 stars is more of a personal preference. I would love to see more alternative and locally sourced food options. Definitely recommend this store.

Lovely new pet shop in Brea, easy parking. Staff is always friendly and they offer great coupons. We have a new puppy and go there often. The self wash is very convenient. We also take our golden doodle to Brian. He is a very attentive groomer and loving towards her which is extremely important. He is accommodating and does his best to fit us into timely appointments. Thank you Brian!

We bring my Chiweenie here for grooming with Brian. She's very timid and scared of people but Brian makes her feel very comfortable. He does a great job every time. We only take her to groomers we trust and Brian is our go to! Highly recommend scheduling your appointment with Brian!

Took my dog in to get groomed. This was his 3rd time getting groomed there. The first 2 times, he looked great! The girl that groomed him on his first 2 visits no longer works there, so I went with whoever was available. Big mistake!!! He looks awful! Brian hacked him up so badly! I've seen good reviews for Brian the groomer, but I guess he's not good with my dogs breed. Looks like I'll be going somewhere else for now on.

Zero rating I have been going since you opened about a year ago. The dog food I buy every time was on sale today. I was told they couldn't honor this price because the internet was down. Yet you could take a Credit Card payment. Worker was very rude

Came here to get a few bugs for my lizard on Saturday. They had a bunch of kittens for adoption. So cute I wanted to adopt them all! The people working here are pretty friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable.
