I took in a silk Reformation dress for hemming. The hemming was good, but upon immediate inspection without leaving the store, I noticed a 3-4 inch snag on the front right hip.
I took it to the lady with the glasses at the front desk right away, and she said "it's your word against mine," "you probably brought it in like that," and "there's nothing we can do about it." Then she shrugged and laughed as I walked out.
This was incredibly unprofessional. The tear is obvious enough that I could see it at first glance, and I would definitely have noticed it during the alterations fitting if it was brought in torn. I saw the good reviews and visited, but I will not be returning.

Wish I could give zero stars. I called a few days ago because the bridal store I went to gave me recommendations to alter my wedding dress. I called and they first told me I could bring my dress in. Then the person on the phone told me to hold on. In the background I could hear her talking to someone else who I assume was the seamstress. The steamstress then took the phone and asked me what type of material my dress was and straight out told me NO. I CAN NOT DO IT. And continued to be rude to me by telling me to look somewhere else. Is that how they speak to potential customers??? Guess so. I ended up finding another alteration store who GLADLY said they can fix my dress and have it ready for the first fitting next week.

Very good work in a timely manner. Cost was in a fair price range and was very well done. I wanted my long sequence dress to be hemmed and it was done very efficiently and quickly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you!

I went in on a Friday for an alteration fit for my dress and it was ready by Monday! The service was super easy and fast. When you arrive, they'll have you try on your clothing item in one of the dressing rooms, they'll mark your clothing where it should be trimmed or altered, and then you pay at the desk and come back in a few days when your clothing item is ready. Such a reliable, friendly, and quick-and-easy service! I would highly recommend this place!

I really wanted to like this place and planned to be a loyal customer. After bringing in a few pieces of clothing for them to alter and the alterations meeting my satisfaction, I brought in several more. I don't know if it was the Thanksgiving holiday or what but they did a poor job on all of the pieces. They were cut and sewn unevenly and one of my favorite $300 dresses was completely ruined. I found this out after taking them home and trying them all on and rushed back to the store in the rain to make them aware of the problem. I arrived 5 minutes prior to closing time and was standing there outside the invisible doors in the rain with my $300 dress and they just looked at me and said they were closed. These people do not know how to appreciate or respect their customers.

I can always count on Make It Fit to alter my clothing to fit me perfectly. I'm on the short side and have issues with different brands fitting me differently. So alterations are always in my books. I've gotten dresses and gowns shortened, tightened, taken up by my shoulders, etc. They're been able to do pretty much anything I've needed and make it look seamless. The price is quite reasonable as well. I told all my friends to go there and now I'm finally writing them a long overdue review!
