My wife and daughter went to Brea Nordstrom, my wife wanted to exchange a pair of jeans not worn. The sales lady rolled her eyes and said Nordstrom is losing money by taking this return. She had proof of purchase and she bought them 3 weeks ago. My wife worked at Nordstrom for 15 years, she was so upset that someone would treat her that way. I am giving one star for the salesgirl in kids shoes that helped my daughter find shoes. She was kind and knowledgeable, Jennifer in kid shoes should probably transfer to south coast she is too good to be working at toxic brea Nordstrom. It's a shame Nordstrom isn't what it used to be.

Always the best customer service and quality brands of designers I love that I get to check out in person. Today I bought a gift for someone and they helped me wrap it cute and super kind as always. I would like to personally give a shout out to Steven from the men's footwear dept.

I will never ever shop at Nordstroms again. Especially nasty girl name Emily customers service. I really don't her education level she very clueless. Wasted 20 mins . I explained her didn't have a receipt and its a Nordstom shirt . I really can't deal with someone who really not educated not even coming to terms . So went Macy customer much better experience. Emily needs be retrained .

Caryn A. At register 4609 store 321 was beyond rude and unprofessional. Saw us waiting at register for a return and continued to ignore us. When she got to register I asked her if we could make a return and she was very abrasive and snobby. Almost but my head off by my simple question. I used to work retail as well so I get it however she should condone herself in a professional manner.

We walked in, and we greeted by Adrienne and Eiley at the YSL stand. They greeted our son who magnetized over as I'm a big YSL customer. They were very helpful and friendly. I decided to buy my son his first YSL fragrance. They were amazing as they engraved the bottle with his initials and name. Awesome service and if I was in retail I'd scoop these ladies up. Thank you for making our son happy with our purchase.

I was looking at the Laura mercier and Gilma helped me out with all of my questions she was really attentive. I appreciated her good customer service :)Later in the day I went to the Jo Malone London Counter and Pauline and Kayla helped me pick out my signature perfume. I was testing out the Poppy and Barley, Red Hibiscus, and scarlet poppy. They provided fantastic customer service and I appreciated their help.

Rating for 1 day; not all time Nordstroms. 5 stars for the rep who usually helps me with my purchases. And much appreciation to her colleague for smiling and greeting me. Negative stars if there is such a thing for the store manger plus 3 other employees. There's a hair products sale coming up or presale today. 1. I was told that I am not qualified to touch the Dyson hair dryer set. The employees would not unlock it for me. Hm... the last time I checked, my rewards level included presale. And it showed up on my app shopping bag with the sale price for days! In the store, the box was wrapped in sensors. No one bothered to unlock it after I said that I wanted to buy it. Two employees just walked away. One came back to tell me that I'm not qualified to buy it. Why don't they want to tell it? Sure makes you wonder. 2. I had an item in an unopened box to return. Never opened box, let me repeat! Nordstrom manager told an employee to tell me that I was not allowed to return it. Walk yourself up to the third level customer service and they will deal with it. 3. Did I post about one of these customer service experiences a few months ago? One very tall young man there refused to help me carry 4 boxes, that stacked up taller than me, to my car. I said... ok. I'll change my order pick up to drive up. He said no. You carry it yourself. If my usual rep was not so helpful, I seriously plan on taking my shopping habits elsewhere.How many icons do you have in this store?! Utterly unbelievable! That must be the new Nordstroms policy. No returns! Oh... it's not no returns... let's just make it very difficult for someone to return anything! Dear store employees, I hope you know why brick and mortar stores are closing. So many of us still believeD in brick and mortar employment and take the extra time to drive there (gas/electricity $$$), park the car, walk into the store and waste 45 minutes just to get nothing done. Online shopping for the same item would take me 5 minutes and not have to waste all that time and money. I do want to give kudos to 2 very friendly employees in the cosmetics department. Both of them were very happy to help customers. Even though sales are hard to come by with high end beauty products.@Nay M, I also noticed the service level decline recently, after the 2023 anniversary sale.

Love my Local NordstromsBeen coming here to shop over a decade +It's a pretty big Nordstrom department store with carrying almost everything needed.Even Big Designer brands too.I've never really had a problem with coming here and not being able to find something i was looking for.Associate is all so friendly especially a stylist who help assist mee a few times, Jeannie is her name.Very friendly and patience with my shopping needs along w returns with never a fuss.I LOVE to shop during their anniversary sale!It's their biggest sale of the year. Best to stock up on items than.Their kids shoes department is my fav, i love buying shoes here for my kids.They offer free logo balloon in the shoe along w clothes KIDS department.They have a few parking structure. Parking may be a bit hard to find but if you're patient enough. You'll eventually find one up close. There's always someone leaving the department store/mall.If you do have their credit card, you can get early access to the Anniversary Sale as part of the Pros w having the nordies card.Btw they do offer free complimentary gift wrapping during the holidays for items purchased at their department Stores. There is a minimal charge for non purchase items from nordies to be wrapped. Can be somewhat of a wait but I've left my item and return to pick up the gift at the end of my shopping tripAt the mall.

The only reason I'm am giving a 4 and not a zero is because of one professional employee, Miraal. She is kind and very professional and willing to take the time to listen. The other employees who, I won't name, just didn't find it important to have good customer service. Thank you Miraal for standing behind the Nordstrom name.

Super helpful at the cosmetic counter. They didn't have this shade, but of course they ordered it for me right away. I had something to return and even though I took off the tag to use it ( an umbrella), luckily I kept the tag because the umbrella leaked!! Seriously?! I would not have been able to return it without that tag. I had the box and the receipt and got a credit quickly. My old umbrella lasted 20 years, this one was junk. Sorry Burberry.

I've never encountered a bad costumer service. I love coming here to spend my day and my money. Matt in the shoe department is very helpful and goes above and beyond to make the customer happy. Please give him a raise.

They refused to process my refund after receiving the package that I returned and they have received based on the tracking number. I returned 3 evening gowns 4 months ago and they casually refuse to pay for my refund which means they are acting against their own policy. You might think Nordstrom is too well known to do a fraudulent activity but you're wrong.

Our whole family has purchased many items through the years. In the past if you needed to return an item or a item that was given as gift, you never had any issues. Not sure what has transpired over the past few years in management but, we as a family intend to stay away from the new Nordstrom model and let everyone else know. They are no different then Nordstrom Rack, just higher prices and no customer service.

As always, women's shoe department literally sucks. Done trying to be polite and understanding online when it comes to reviews, because it's just unacceptable. I worked at Nordstrom for about 5 years and left the company, always knew how toxic, competitive, fake, and vile the women's shoe department is, at ANY location. Why are you in customer service if you can't even treat every one of your guests equally and respectfully. I absolutely hate the entire "it's your job" phrase, but in this case, especially for this department, I stand by it 110%. All we ask for is a shoe size, or if you even have any other colors. Whyexactly are you in such a nasty a** attitude for. Piss-poor service and attitude from an older female worker here on 1/10. Absolutely did not appreciate the way she treated my mom. These people just talk down on any non-english speakers, good thing I wasn't near by [I was in a different department] or I would have been very upset. It's not right. I'm in customer service, even worked at Nordstrom and was taught by an amazing manager before to always give world class Nordstrom customer service, just plain and simple, be nice to your guest. What exactly is so hard about that, it does not take rocket science to be fake, smile, and be patient. Don't you want your commission? What exactly is your purpose as an employee here if you're talking down and being condescending? Absolutely deplorable, it's kind of embarrassing to see how jerks can seriously get jobs, especially in customer service of all places. Please excuse my language as I do not like speaking this way, but stuff like this irritates me beyond belief, even if this weren't my mom and I witnessed it, I wouldn't let that happen, how disrespectful. How would YOU feel if someone treated one of YOUR loved ones like that? Oh well, you lost out on a simple sale of $500 from commes de garcon sneakers, nothing complicated. Don't get me wrong, the customer service department here is awesome, and that's always where I go for all returns, because I only purchase online, because I know how snobby salesfloor nordstorm workers get. My mom just wanted new sneakers for her and my dad and was excited, but this lady totally made my mom feel so low and shitty and left emptyhanded- which technically is fine, we easily and happily made a fuss-free purchase on the Nordstrom app. Too bad this employee didn't even want to bring the shoe out for her to just try on the size. Yuck
