I sent my sons to Heights Christian and would like to add that the very best teachers my wife and I got to know were Mrs. Calabrese and Mrs. Allies. Neither are with the company any longer. I'm disgusted with the Heights Christian Administration on their treatment of their staff. Heights Christian is not a ministry. It's a business seeped in nepotism. There's so much I can elaborate on about the current and past owners and their extended family that currently work there. If you're a parent and are considering this campus, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Save your money and home school or send to public school. I regret sending my sons to heights Christian schools.

This review is my experience as a parent with a child previously enrolled in the preschool program at the Brea, CA campus. She was in room 15. I want to start by saying how much I loved Ms. Rolon and Mrs. Calabrese. They were always so welcoming and genuine. My daughter started in July, feeling confident this was the right fit. However, that quickly changed. My daughter's teacher (who I will leave unnamed) right off the bat, my husband and I felt didn't like my daughter, and my daughter felt it. High-strung energy and frantic energy are not good for young ones who are nervous to start. Not welcoming, and immediately made her out to be a "BAD" kid. I think it ruined her first preschool experience. Backing up, my daughter was born 4 months before the pandemic broke out and had never been in daycare or school, which was explained when we enrolled her. I was very transparent about everything when touring and signing up. Mrs. Calabrese, who gave us a tour, and who sold us. She was absolutely wonderful & genuine. Mrs. Calabrese left shortly after my daughter started so we relied on some of the staff and teachers. Which didn't provide us with much comfort. I strongly believe if your child doesn't fit the mold of their concept of a perfect child, there will be red flags that they will not welcome you back, soon. Not every child is the same and they did nothing to help with my daughter's social integration troubles. Which by the way, is completely normal and even more so since she is a Covid baby. More and more I researched and spoke to other preschools, Covid babies are showing delays since the world stopped for 2 years. I am not making excuses for my child and will be the first one to admit she is strong-willed and determined. Those attributes are wonderful if channeled the right way. This school is not for your child if your child shows any type of out-of-the-mold behavior. The classroom was absolute chaos, my daughter's diaper was always dirty picking her up, the wrong clothing was sent home often, and never once did I hear anything positive about my daughter doing well. Furthermore, we got a week's notice that she wasn't welcome back the next month, we were told we should keep an eye on some behaviors & get her assessed as she might have something wrong with her. Since then I have gotten 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinions from qualified individuals, and think this is ridiculous & untrue. You have no idea, how horrible this felt, and I hope was a true intention on their end but I doubt it. What really bothered me was on her last day, we walked in to put her lunch bag away in her cubby and her name was already taken down from her cubby. It broke my heart because it proved how much they wanted her gone. Luckily, my daughter isn't old enough to understand it, but if she were older that would have been really awful to explain. Now, we have found a fabulous preschool (with the same ratio btw), and my daughter has made a full 360. The teacher is patient, loves kids, and really wants them to do well. Every child is DIFFERENT! Do better Heights Christian. Run this as a school, not a business!

My husband and I went on a tour at this preschool for our daughter with Ms. Rolon. She was very nice and informative. On our tour we visited the classroom my daughter would be in if we decided to enroll her at this preschool. I believe first impressions are everything, and I will say the two teachers in this classroom did not provide a warm greeting and were not friendly. Although lunchtime was beginning and they were busy with the kids, it doesn't take much to put on a smile and provide a warm greeting. My observation of the classroom was that it wasn't very clean and updated. I will say these were just two of the main factors we decided not to enroll our daughter at this preschool.

My now three-year-old started in September 2021, I went to many different preschools and toured several of them and found that Heights Christian was exactly what I was looking for. The Director Mrs. Calabrese was absolutely wonderful and made me feel comfortable bringing my son here, especially since he had been taken care of at home during the last 2 1/2 years. All of the teachers have been great and loving, and I have seen my son grow in leaps and bounds with his speech and learning so much about Jesus that it absolutely warms my heart that I picked the right school for him.He has made many friends at the school and the parents are all awesome and great! Summer has been great and my son is loving the water activities, he comes home singing a new song daily and they are even helping with potty training! This is a busier campus and has a lot of kids which is what I wanted so he can interact with more kids! They have 3 different playgrounds based in age and all the teachers are beyond sweet. My So. Cried if I pick him up too early because he loves it so much!

My son went here when he was 2.5-3.6yrs. The teachers make this school. We absolutely loved Teacher Jackie and Teacher Christina in rm 15. Teacher Jessica and Amanda are also wonderful and we love the Christian foundation they provided my son. This is a larger preschool and in the beginning there was a high turnover rate with preschool teachers, but for the most part they (the school) really tried to make you feel like family. The school itself is a little dated but before I left they were starting to make wonderful changes (painting/replacing the main sign/replaced the outdoor furniture/etc). I hope they plan to update the classrooms bec they definitely need it.

I sent my daughter here for a week and it seemed very promising. The teachers were kind and understanding. I was thankful and I thought to myself: I found a good school for my 3 year old daughter. However, I immediately took my daughter out of this school when they called me notifying me that my daughter was not moving her arm. I took her to the hospital and her elbow was dislocated. Most often times, an elbow dislocation happens in toddlers because of sudden pulling or yanking. I don't even want to imagine what the teacher did to my toddler...

I went in for a tour and noticed their main gate was left open. I tried closing it but it didn't lock so anyone could come in and out. Immediately I saw some kids playing by the fence without supervision. I did see an adult far away by the playground but the kids were left alone to come near the gate. I was worried the kids could run out any second. Also administrators were not friendly at all. Probably worst service out of all Christian/private schools I have been to.

My y daughter goes to school here and we couldn't be happier with the education she's receiving. She's grown so much since starting here.
