I am so disappointed in their customer service. I no longer have faith in this firm. Your money is not safe with them. Please trust the negative reviews. Seems they hire young arrogant (no life experience or compassion) employees to handle complex situations. A very hard lesson to learn. They put you on hold at least 10 min and then come back to put you on hold again only to tell you to call them back in a few days.

BOYCOTT FIDELITY INVESTMENTS!!!! A friend of mine deposited a check into fidelity investments that was received as a result of his deceased mother's survivor benefits. he deposited it into fidelity investments. the bank stated that a lot of money came in and a lot of money was going out in order to cover expenses and therefore shut down his account with thousands of dollars remaining in the account which they refuse to return. he has provided they with all necessary documentation and he is being told it is not enough. now he has no way to support himself and his family along with tying up loose ends for his dead mother who dies of dementia. he is on his oen and lawyers have turned him away because he cannot pay an attorney without the money that fidelity is holding hostage. please help. he is a single dad and has no one.

Made an appointment asking to set up an account with a financial advisor and gave them a ballpark figure. They gave me an appointment with the wrong person who didn't even end up linking my bank account to the new account, once he found out the amount he then said I should talk to an associate of his who actually deals with the money aspect. I go back a week later for another appointment with someone else once they figured I was investing a good chunk. Guy doing the 2nd appointment a week later didn't do his homework before our appointment, I get there and the account still isn't linked. Two trips to the Brea office, being promised they'd uphold their $150 bonus being promoted on their website for signing up..which never happened. They couldn't put my money into the accounts because the bank hadn't linked. Went twice trying to put my money in, both times left with the money none of the accounts I asked for. Was told my money would go directly to their money market account and then I could move it. Entire purpose of going the 2nd time was for them to put the money in each of the accounts. Now the money is just there, I don't know how to move it and it's been a complete nightmare. Now having to go back to MY independent financial advisor because I won't put up with how unhelpful and confusing the app is, let alone the employees there are incompetent. If you're a first time investor I highly recommend a different branch and hopefully they are more competent and helpful there. Didn't get the $150 I was promised and wasted driving to Brea twice for absolutely nothing to have ended up actually getting done with the account. Complete waste of time.

The people are helped as they walk in. They answered all our questions and helped us. It is their phone system that is not good. It is all automated. I end up having to drive to the office in order to speak to someone. The young guy running the front desk helpful.

Pathetic Customer Service! Made an appointment a week ago with Maria Rodriguez to roll over two different 401K's into one account for Friday at 2PM. However, after arriving, she was not available. No phone call to reschedule either. We asked to speak with the manager. We were told by the new representative that he already left for the weekend. (Lie #1) I asked for him to call us on Monday. She never asked for a phone number. Finally, I suggsted for her to take down the number. It was obvious she didn't care.Finally the vice president came out from the back to help us. He said the manager was on a long distance phone call. We explained what had happened after Maria Rodriguez joined us and she denied everthing we said. She outright lied to him! (Lie #2) The VP was able to locate the missing 401K that Maria was supposed to have researched for us.Maria proceeded to fill out the required paperwork for this transaction. We asked her what the grace period would be for the new CD when it mutures and she said there was no time limit. "You could do it anytime." (Lie#3) She even tried to confuse SIPC with FDIC. (Lie #4) Today, Monday morning, the processor for the missing 401K called to advise us that Maria did the paperwork wrong. Now another hurdle to overcome.What is going on at this location? No one to oversee and check the work of their financial advisors. Yet, Fidelity Investments wants the public to invest their money with them. Unbelievable lack of experience and knowledge. BEWARE.

I called customer service on feb 4th 2021 and i was on hold for 2 hours and 30 minutes before they answered my call. Today, feb 11th, 2021, I am calling them again and i am srill on hold for 50 minutes now. I am still waiting for a representative to answer me. The reason i am calling them is because i want to transfer my account to another firm, Edward Jones. Edqard Jones' customer service answers my call in less than 5 SECONDS! OMg Fidelity! You have a very poor customer service!

I don’t call. I do whatever I need on my cell phone or PC and it goes very well. That’s why I am surprised to hear comments about waiting long time on the phone or badly treated by some young employees. Perfect money management by professionals.

I love the brokerage firm I use and have for decades!!! I will never ever switch, I've tried them all and at the end it's always Fidelity as the best and only choice.
