Our stay here was pretty awful. There was next to no parking when we arrived, and then we waited at the front desk for about 15 minutes before someone was available to check us in. The lady at the front counter was a bit abrasive and short with us for questioning why she had to make copies of our IDs if we had a credit card on file. She gave us the information for our room, and it was pretty terrifying. There was hair in the trash can, floor, and bed, blood on the floors, and many miscellaneous stainings around the room. Our shower also was missing chunks out of the tub and was leaking consistently. The door was also extremely chewed up (I'm assuming by a dog). I called the front desk and let her know of all of this and she offered to let us switch rooms, but it was so late in the night and we were only staying for a night so we didn't take her offer. The bed was pretty awful, we could feel the springs from the mattress and they poked you as you moved. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. The hotel is in a nice area, but there were a lot of loud guests (one guest was revving his motorcycle at 2 in the morning) and some very questionable blood stains along the stairwell. Overall, I would never stay here again.

Booked a night here for a Christmas party. check in was super easy. But upon entering the room had chipped/peeling paint and the people in the room next to is were BLASTING music even after 12:30AM and front desk didn't do anything. So couldn't get any sleep. Definitely won't be returning.

I payed for a room that would accommodate a wheel chair, the room is super small plus I booked it for 1 adult and 1 senor, the front desk host was really rude when I asked for a early check-in. I was told by the previous host that was here early this morning that if I decided to check-in early that their would be a fee. No this room is not even worth 75 a night.

Booked a five night stay and got in close to midnight. The first night was miserable. The bathroom showed significant wear and the floor was water damaged. The bed had a broken frame. I didn't realize how bad the problem was until I was nearly dumped on the floor. I went to the desk to get the room changed.New room was better but...Cracked and split upholstery, the CO2 detector was missing, and the smell of smoke/weed kept intruding from somewhere. At least the roaches were not too bad. I only saw about 2 a day.

Update: Lowering my overall rating and service rating after my latest check in. When I arrived, the door to the front lobby was locked and the front desk was empty. No one answered the phone when I called. An employee named Renee walked in without any name badge or identifying clothing after waiting alone in the lobby for more than five minutes. She immediately took a phone call instead of helping me. When more than ten minutes had passed since I arrived, she finally started helping me. Check in went smoothly until I asked for my usual 11:30 am checkout. I have done this for every visit for more than a year and never been charged, but she was insisting that I would be charged $10. I asked her to look at my account to see that I have never been charged, but she refused. When asked when this policy was instituted, she said it's always been that way. She refused to give me a late check out and now I have to hope to get ahold of the manager during my busy morning. Very frustrating.Update: I continue to stay here on a regular basis. Some of the rooms are being updated. Parking is always easy. The only real advice I would give is to get a room that faces the back parking lot - it cuts down on noise. If you have business in or near Imperial, Extended Stay is an affordable, clean option. Troy and his staff have assured me an easy check in and enjoyable for the past year I have been staying there regularly. The location is near several grocery stores and lots of retail, making it suitable for longer stays.

Sticky floors chipped up tubs. I've stayed in extended stays a few times I was not expecting Motel 6 "quality" a bit disappointed. The fridge opens from the side by the wall? That's

Dirty room. Towels dirty and with hair. Bathtub dirty. Glass dirty. Sink dirty. Will never recommend this place. Did checkout 15minutes after doing check-in.

Don't belive any of the pictures or "free wifi". Don't be surprised with extra cost not mentioned at the start. Rooms are horrendous and damaged, unpleasant odor. Nothing anybody would expect. Its more of a motel and not anything out of the better ones at that.

I checked in on Friday after 4 pm. The man at the desk was a little rude to be honest. I think he is unhappy with his job. The rooms can use some TLC. I saw a public hair on the bathroom sink and that was disgusting but I guess “normal”. The restroom had paint chips on the floor. Pretty beat up tub.

This place is shabby. Every walkway is full of trash cans. Even pet hair is not cleaned. Beds are worst. I decided not to stay at any Extended Stay America. Sorry. They even charge you extra for few hours of Early check in.

In an effort to get away from the Long Beach Marathon madness (road closures, ugh), I planned a mini staycation in Brea. I chose the Extended Stay in Brea as it was between the Brea Improv that I had planned for Saturday night and Yorba Linda trails I was going to run on Sunday morning. Getting there and parking were easy, check-in was smooth and the room served the purpose that I needed it to. It was cozy with a comfortable queen-sized bed, large television, well-functioning AC (I love me a chilly hotel room), kitchenette and clean bathroom. The only missing amenities that I would've liked to have were a microwave and bathtub stopper. I checked in around 5:00pm and then hit the Whole Foods around the corner en route to the comedy club. I wanted to sleep in a bit after a late night of laughs but was awoken at ~4:00am by loud conversation in the parking lot. I spent my Sunday morning running the trails of Yorba Linda (so beautiful and hilly!) and was looking forward to returning to my room for a hot, Epsom salt bath... only to discover there was no tub stopper! Argh, I settled for a boring shower and chilled in the big bed before checking out at 11:00am. The Extended Stay America Suites Brea is a clean, comfortable, and accommodating no-frills hotel. I would definitely stay here again either for a quick overnight or a couple of days.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This hotel is VERY run down. Its like they don't have and cleaning staff at all. Everything was dirty and disgusting. Plus there was a dog in the room next to us that barked ALL night like it was in the room by its self im lucky if I got 2 hours of sleep. NEVER staying here

Some of the front dest staff are rude. They hardly give you new towels and a lot of times there are lack of the towels. I asked new towel early (5 AM) in the morning and the lady in front desk said " i am doing a favor to give you new towels now"!!!! and when i did complaint to the hotel manager in the day, he just told me thanks for letting me know!! without any apology on this kind of behaviors. I just was trying to finish my stay in this hotel. They sometimes also make noises by some cleaners in the yard 7 to 8 AM in the morning to clean the parking yard when some guests might still sleeping.
