To be honest, this repair shop scammed out of $274. My issue was with my A/C and it took over a month to fix, after a month I called "Trino" and I told him that im just gonna take the car as it is, that I don't mind if the A/C is not working i would fix it myself. Very next day after that call he tells me he found the issue and ended up "fixing" it. Had me replace my blower motor with a new one and once it was done I went to pick up my car after a month and 4 days. I decided to keep the old part just in case and turns out that the old part worked perfectly fine with no issues. Ended up "fixing" a whole lot of nothing besides replacing an old part with a new part. SCAM!!!!! Please do not come here as I also had another car in this repair shop with a similar issue and it also was there for a month or so. DO NOT COME HERE AND DO NOT PAY HIM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. GO GET A SECOND OPINION AT EL CENTRO!

This place is the worst. My car ran out of gas while I was driving back to Palm Springs, CA just outside of Brawley. I had AAA come out and give me some gas. Unfortunately my car battery drained and my car still wouldn’t start so AAA towed me to Gonzalez
They told me I needed a new alternator and quoted me $220 plus taxes and said my car would be ready the following day. I had to get a hotel room which cost me another $200. My car still wasn’t ready and I had to wait until Monday to pick it up.
When I went to pick up my car, the bill was $650. I was beside myself but there was nothing that I could do. I paid the bill and they drove my car around to the front of the shop. My car was filthy. They had left all the windows open and a thick layer of dust was everywhere.
I drove my car back to Palm Springs and I woke up the following morning and my car battery was dead. So much for the brand new alternator that cost me a small fortune. I plan on taking legal action against Gonzales Welding and Auto Repair and will never let them forget.

This is the only place I know that will get the job done and will not gouge me. Trino is so good and I trust him. My family has been going there for years for a reason!

HORRIBLE. almost spent 2000 dollars trying to get my ac fixed. It took them three tries. Then it broke again. Never going back. THIS PLACE SUCKS.

Took my 20 year old pickup to have the AC fixed. Knew it needed a new compressor. Ended up spending over $1,300 to completely revamp the system, fixing leaky valves, cleaning the condenser etc. Got it back and it worked fine for three weeks, then the compressor burnt up. Literally thought my truck was going to burn. It locked up while I was diving down the highway and started smoking. Took it back and got a new compressor, he put that one on and burnt it up in the shop testing it after her installed it. He said the first compressor burnt up because it was defective. The second he said burnt up because the system was dirty due to the other one getting so hot that it left crud in the lines. Paid him another $350 to supposedly flush out the AC system, recharge with coolant, and install a 3rd AC compressor (lucky I got the lifetime warranty). ONE DAY after I got my truck back the compressor locked up AGAIN and made a horrible sound. Would not engage when I turned on the AC. Had I not turned off the AC it would have burnt up as well just like the others. NEVER going back to this shop again. Ever. Based on my experience I believe their mechanics are incompetent. Wouldn't trust them with an oil change at this point. I spent $1,700 to fix my AC and I'm back in square one.
