Been here several times. Excellent steaks and great food. You will have enough left over for lunch the next day. I recommend you bring some containers or Tupperware for leftovers

This is basically a steel building with sort of a patio. Ammenities are sparce. Plastic tables, wood tables, some round cable spool tables. You get your very substantial from the register wrapped with a paper plate. You tote it over to the seasoning table, dress it up then haul it out to one of two very poorly lit open pit bbq's and grill it yourself. Sides included foil wrapped baked potatoes, canned green beans, canned mushrooms, and a very basic salad. Everything is self serve except the drinks. I recommend you bring your own steak knife and fork. Silverware is sparce, but certainly Noone goes hungry. You need to know how to tell when your steak is cooked to your desired doneness. In spite of everyone "knowing how to grill steak" (pfft) many complained about their undercooked steaks and hard to judge grill temp. This is a very unique experience that all should try at least once.

We've been several Monday nights for ribeye and it is phenomenal! For $35, you get a giant slab of ribeye, and generous portions of salad, potatoes, veggies and rolls. You get to season your own steak and grill it to your liking. It's a fun atmosphere and the food is delicious!

Great little bar. Should be on Diners Drive ins and Dives TV show. We cooked ourown steak and they provided condiments and sides. My steak was cooked perfectly, because I did it! Excellent cut of beef. Definitely recommended.

Awesome place. The people are great. Took me way to long to try their Monday night steak night. Would highly recommend. I would suggest bringing you own seasonings as their's is a little limited. Steaks hand cut in front of you and you get to cook it to your preference. And as a bonus they still have a fifty cent pool table

Monday night cook your own steaks was a BLAST! We drove up to a building that didn't look too exciting, parked, and went inside. There were at least thirty people already there, and we quickly learned the ropes. After watching the steaks being cut from a giant slab, my husband chose two good ones. He went to the table with spices of every kind, and toothpicks to tenderize the steaks AND to use to identify your steaks outside on the Santa Maria BBQ grill. There were at least twenty steaks on the grill, and everyone was very friendly. The side dishes were baked potatoes, green beans, chili beans, green salad, mushrooms, rolls, butter and sour cream. We were absolutely STUFFED when we left. This is only in Monday nights--enjoy! The cost was $25 for one steak for one person or $33 for one steak for two people. You could also just pay $10 for the sides only. The Alamorio Store is about 30 minutes from Glamis.

Regular Country Bar most of the time -- MONDAY ONLY - Steaks !!! HUGE HUGE Steaks - probably 2 lbs !! You choose your own after the owner presents just cut meat - which comes from Costco, I think. Don't bother trying to get a meal on any day except Monday !!! .. VERY reasonable -- past Monday it was $23.00. That includes buffet service of aked potato and sour cream or butter, green beans, mushrooms, green salad, and dinner rolls. The neat thing is that you cook your own steak on the grill located outside -- You can also warm your buns and add butter if you like. A1 sauce, BBQ spices, salt and pepper available and you fix your steak the way you like before grilling it. Quite OK to share these huge steaks or just buy the fixings and no steak ! Starts promptly at 6 pm and steaks available until they run out -- so if a large number of you are going, I suggest calling and letting owner know the day before! This place is rather hard to find. Pull it up on Google Maps or just drive to the junction of Hiway 78 and Seybert Road ( hmm... no signage though !! -it IS a Country Bar! ) . So -- go to the Glamis turnoff from Hiway 78 , and that is Seybert Road ! Make a HARD left and that unmarked little building on the right with the pickups parked around it is Alamorio Store. Once upon a time, it was a service station, then a tiny grocery, now a bar with very cold wine and beer. .. hmmm.. 'bar" -- technically. it is a STORE with a bar counter on one side. So under 21's will not be tossed out. Wine is $4 and very cold bottle of water is $1.25. No gouging --- BE SURE TO LEAVE A GOOD TIP so this place will stay open !! .. Its a wonderful example of genuine and fast disappearing real country life! No charge pool table and free shuffleboard and everyone happy and friendly.

This place is amazing. Calling it a dive bar is giving it a lot. The steaks on Monday night are the best. My wife and I usually split one steak since they are so large. Most of the steaks are over two pounds and I believe the cut of beef is rib eye. The steak comes with baked potato, green beans, mushrooms, green salad, and dinner rolls. The neat thing is that you cook your own steak on the grill located outside. Really hard to complain that your steak was not cooked the way you liked. This place is rather hard to find. It is located off of the highway and there is no signage. This is my favorite place the eat steak in the area. The staff and customers are all very friendly. Just a fun place to get good food and cold beer.
