Absolutely ENJOYED our stay!! Far enough from the big cities that you feel like you’re really out in nature, a lot of outdoors stuff to do, they have a pool to cool off and a jacuzzi (though I wished they had more covered seating for people), there’s a cute nature trail even our 4 year old could do, farm animals to play with, a park for the kids, a recreational room with toys and games, a zip line for kids, and a HUGE dog park. I’m not sure why they built the usual KOA dog run right next to a bigger spot for dogs, but we went to the bigger one and my dog was a happy camper being able to run around with other dogs! Only qualm were the tremendous amounts of fire ants everywhere and lack of grass. It’s mainly weeds and dirt - which I don’t mind but it gets tedious to get everyone cleaned before getting in the camper. The friendliest KOA staff we’ve ever come across too! Our slide out broke and they continuously checked on us to see if we needed anything. Happy to say I’d definitely be back!

My experience at the KOA was the very first one ever I have to say, for the first location that was chosen for my very first KOA camping trip with my family, it was wonderful. They have a petting zoo, pool , club house , small playground and hiking trails . The staff were super kinda and sweet . The Accommodations they have for camping range from Rv w/ and w/out power hook ups , cabins , tent camping with and without electric hookups as well as water . My kids enjoyed this trip I can’t wait for the next one.

We loved our stay here. They were very accommodating, especially since we had a rooftop tent. Such a peaceful place with lots of trees and animals walking around. The bathrooms were cleaned every day and they had showers! Plus they brought us firewood whenever we needed. We felt very spoiled! We’d love to stay again. Thank you guys!!

Loved this place, wish I had more time to stay. Grounds were beautiful, quiet, and serene. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved waking up to the birds chirping. They also have farm animals and 3 ostriches, which was really cool. Nice pool and hot tub. The pet area was awesome! Great place for anyone to camp solo or with family. We will definitely be back!!!

Super cool spot; we will be returning when the weather is nicer, and will stay longer! The staff here is incredible; I’ve never received such hospitality, not even in 5-Star hotels!

The location of this KOA is beautiful. The layout made for a nice evening walk. The pool is closed until April 15. The night sky is breathtaking with no light pollution. I recommend you walk over to the labyrinth to star gaze. We went on a light traffic night and there was no noise aside from the wilderness. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Jacob and Rob went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answer all of our questions. It is very apparent that they love what they do. It really shows. Great hospitality. We stayed for one night in the bunk house. The bunk house has four sets of bunk beds (eight beds total). There are also lights, a ceiling fan, a standalone heater, a rocking chair, and a small table. Outside, the house has a dedicated fire pit and two picnic benches. This arrangement was perfect for our party. There is only one bunk house on the campground. There is a laundry room, bathrooms with flushing toilets and showers, and a rec room with a stove, microwave, and a fridge.I saved the best part for last: the animals! They are acquiring more animals for the ranch but at the moment (April 2024), they have ostriches, horses, goats, donkey, a cow, chickens, a peacock, and a llama. I can’t forget the Vietnamese pot-bellied piggies, Sage and Pepper, by reception! The animals set this campground apart from others and is what makes it so special.10/10 would visit again!

Beautiful well maintained koa. Off the beaten path, a bit of a trek, but worth it. Peaceful and quiet, very different then a lot of KOAs. You actually feel like you are camping. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of fun for the kiddos.

Although the site was beautiful and had ostriches and nice staff, there were some things that could be improved on. I did a late registration and had to wait (not that much) to do the check in. My wife and I were traveling east to west road trip using KOA and this was the only campground without late check in. Cabin was very dusty, the heater was too small for a big cabin; not great on a cold night. Bathrooms were dirty, only campground on the trip that my wife and I didn’t wanted to take a shower.

Noteworthy details: In the pictures you can see they have pigs which my daughter loved. The staff also gave her two pair of shoes because she burned them on the fire pot the night before ?. Then there was that cat. He would follow us on night hikes and at on point made himself comphy in my van. I love it there.

We arrived late on Christmas night, and the owner Jai was so kind and accommodating! This was our first stay at a KOA, and it left a great first impression. The location is remote and super cool, and I'd love to find time to explore it further. We got a spot close to the ostriches, and there was a friendly cat that greeted us and helped us get things setup. The next morning, we woke up to see a wild boar or javelina outside our window digging up dirt! Not something you see everyday. The bathrooms were close by, and they were great for going potty, but showering was not ideal. There was no rush checking out the next day, so we were able to take our time and get cleaned up and out to the next stop. We will definitely come back here for a unique camping experience!

I spent a rainy night tent camping but thoroughly enjoyed my stay, Maria was extremely helpful and courteous when I called and checked in. Bathrooms and clubhouse were clean and well equipped. Very quiet all night except a few coyote tipping. Dolly stopped by in the morning to make sure all was good. Wish I had more time to check out trails and animals. Will have to stay longer next timeNoteworthy details: Beautiful setting

Come for the camping and stay for the hospitality. The owner Jai is the best! We’ve never felt more at home camping. Dolly is amazing at what she does and the kids love her! The park is gated in, which is a huge plus and comforting. They have even started to do activities on Saturdays for the kids. Rocky and Ariana run that part amazingly. The kids are having a blast and us adults get to relax.
