We landed up here randomly on our way to Mendocino. And we are so glad we did. Very friendly atmosphere and scrumptious Sandwiches. We got chicken sandwich and caprese sandwich. Both very delicious. You must stop there for a bite or a drink if you happen to go towards

This is a special hole in the wall. Expect a flavorful meal no matter what you order. Absolutely worth your time to stop and enjoy a café. The Artichoke Lemon Panini was simply fantastic!

Had a delicious pastry to start my morning there the other day. And then I got a few empanadas to go. They were awesome. Flaky crust and delicious insides. Definitely going back!

On route 128, between Cloverdale and the Mendocino coast, is the town of Boonville. This is a great stop on the long twisty drive. They surprisingly had a very nice selection of organic teas, in addition to all the coffee drinks. The sandwiches and snacks looked great though I had plenty of food in the car. But the food at the outdoor table next to me was tempting, so next time I will indulge in their food. There is an adjoining shop with gifts you might bring to your host, or buy for yourself. Nice staff, reasonable prices. I will continue to stop there on my route.

Pillar , owner & proprietor, is a beautiful soul & makes the best Empanadas in Boonville. Check it out, we recommend everything in her Cafe.

Mosswood Market is a true gem nestled in Anderson Valley, and our experience there was nothing short of exceptional. After discovering their tantalizing empanadas last year, we were determined to revisit this charming spot. The Bacon with Goat Cheese and Chorizo empanadas quickly became our favorites, boasting flavors that danced on our taste buds. Beyond empanadas, their pastry selection offers a delightful array of treats. What truly sets Mosswood Market apart is the warm and genuine hospitality of Pilar, who greets every guest with an infectious smile. It's evident that this family-owned establishment puts love and passion into every bite. Five stars without a doubt!
