Ordered medium size discoid roaches. Received small and 80% dead. Waist of money. I was contacted almost immediately after I posted this review and offered replacement. Great customer service, thank you!

I am extremely dissatisfied with my order. Despite repeatedly requesting for the package to be held, every replacement that has been sent to me arrives dead. Texas has been experiencing high temperatures for the past three weeks, and this has led to the demise of the bugs. I have been engaging in back-and-forth email communication for the past two weeks to resolve the issue with the bearded dragons' food, but it seems that each time, I receive a package filled with lifeless insects.Whenever a replacement was sent, there always seemed to be a delay with the mail carrier, further exacerbating the problem. I persistently raised the issue for a replacement, and although it initially seemed promising, the same tragedy occurred again with dead animals. I would consider ordering again; however, the cost of purchasing a sampler pack and then having to resort to buying from big box stores becomes overly expensive to sustain my dragons. Moreover, receiving a refund of only $13.99 is hardly satisfactory. It would be beneficial if the company takes measures to prevent the bugs from perishing when shipped to hot locations. Simply including a large ice pack with the shipment could potentially solve this recurring problem. Ultimately, this issue arose from the initial request to have the package held at the post office, which was never fulfilled. As someone new to the reptile hobby, this entire experience has left a bitter taste and is disheartening.If the manger or owners see this please I would love the input. I would add photos but I’d rather not keep them around the house stinking.

I chose to purchase from this company as a last minute resort, I've used Flukers for years and because I was having trouble making a purchase I decided to look elsewhere. This company was the only one I came across that didn't have a ton of negative reviews. Being a resident of Fl and making a purchase out of Cali, I was skeptical. This company not only delivers on time as expected but the products I purchased (250ct mealworms, 12ct hornworms, and a 25ct hornworms) were all still alive and well upon arrival. I will 100 percent recommend this company, and I definitely will be making future purchases. THANK YOU!

We have ordered a couple of times and while the prices are good the feeders are NOT clean. Order mealworms and you get those along with 2 or 3 other types of worms mixed in.

Eddie is right that when you challenge their failure they will block you from ordering again. I had long left years ago and went to Dubiaroaches dot com which I highly recommend, but received a birthday $5 off email from this company and was confused why. It looks like they unblocked me now. Oh well, I am sticking with Dubia Roaches as Rainbow Mealworms staff was very rude to me a couple of years ago. That email they sent me today made me remember and go ahead and write this review. I had forgotten all about them ?. Try Dubiaroaches dot com, you in will NOT be sorry. Their shipping is cheaper, they have high quality products, and they even sent people free insects during the height of the world event that just happened.

I ordered blue bottle fly larvae. They did not show up. I contacted RM after 5 days and was told I had to wait for them to show up. 17 days later I asked for my money back but was told they would send more instead. Upon arrival there were 250 maggots stuffed into a tiny tiny ziplock bag. Some were dead. Others were alive and did pupate but never hatched into a fly. Not a single one.

Best price and amazing customer service.I ordered 5,000 mealworms and they showed up all dead from a heatwave, I contacted customer service and they shipped me a new box of 5,000 mealworms free of charge. I will definitely be ordering from them again and will be recommending them to anyone that has the need for their products.

Trying to think of how to begin. We placed an order for 1,000 mealworms, some bran, repashi and dubio roaches Sunday May 1, 2022. Neither myself or my husband check our personal email often which is why we were happy to give our PHONE number on our order as well. Apparently the roaches my hubby wanted to try for our reptiles are illegal where we live, we paid for 2nd day delivery because we have hungry critters! Order was placed on a Sunday. My husband asks a few days later if we have received tracking and so I log in…. They were holding all of the order because of the roaches! Spoke to someone again on Friday, they told me they would fed ex Saturday delivery….. they LIED…. We spent the day WAITING for FedEx, and at 5:00 P.M emailed them again…. They weren’t sent yet AGAIN. To make all of this worse…. During this process not one person picked up the phone to talk to either of us BUT worse than that our local pet shop is CLOSED and we get to frantically call around tomorrow to find something for our guys to eat. We are out close to $50.00 and literally have nothing to show for it AND they lied to us…. Don’t think we will reorder again. This has been a terrible experience and our boys are hungry! If I could give zero stars I would.

Update: I have been refunded for my order. I do appreciate the refund. It does make me sad all those little creatures have gone to waste. :(I ordered and requested two day shipping and placed my zip code so it can be held at a nearby location. Right? The live animals were sent to a random FedEx 6 miles away from my house and arrived a week later. Emailed the company and they were very rude. I will not be ordering again. Good luck.
