Worst absolutely the worst experience ever with online purchases save yourself the trouble sometimes things are just too good to be true and this would be that time I have been arguing with jcpennys this whole month and by the looks of it I am going to be arguing for longer because now they are trying to say business days first I was supposed to receive my refund in 2 days then it went to 7 days then it went 10 days now that 10 days have come now it is business days. I can not get a straight answer about anything and everyone just wants to tell me how sorry they are about my situation but then do nothing about it !! Urggggggggg

I went to one of the checkout lines to pay for a purse and a pair of cheap earrings. The Cashier who rung me up with my credit card told me that I have a tag on the back of my earrings and it might cause someone from the Security to come and check my bag. She said don't worry as long as you have your receipt. I told her to just remove the tag so that it doesn't happen, so she did just that. I didn't wanna be embarrassed by having security approach me and I'm innocent. I'm not quite understanding why she was trying to set me up. I paid for my items without a problem and I'm not a shoplifter. She wasn't right. The Cashier was a older Filipino woman name Josephine. Please discuss this matter with her. Thanks.

I shopped here yesterday. There was only 1 cashier on the entire first floor so I was happy to see the asian lady in jewelry would ring me up.Big mistake! She was so rude & refused to listen to my questions in assisting me. She said she don't have time to answer anything. The leaders are so rude too.Amanda, Sasha & Fabiola all trashed talked me when I had a few questions about where to find a certain item. This store is horrible, understaffed and no one and I mean NO ONE will help you find anything.

Communications are terrible, not one department answers the phone. This only adds to the apathy from the employees I encounter when I go there, like I'm intruding on their day.

Associate number 0782 Register 093 At 2:05 pm Went to buy some shoes Cashier was rude, didn't acknowledge us. When offered to apply for card we said no and she kept trying. I understand that part of your job is to try and sell but when they are rude about it no one is going to want to. And when recieving money she just handed the pile and did not count the money or tell us the amount or the change. Completely rude the entire time. Also prior to our transaction, I witnessed her with another customer. It was an older women with a teenager. She did the same with her, kept pushing the card on her and she said no three times and then the cashier tried to guilt her by saying come on your daughter wants it in front of the kid. That was beyond ridiculous, you do not guilt a mother into getting something for her child. That was upsetting to watch. This women does not belong as a cashier if she can not be respectful to her customers.

This location feels like it's gone down hill. Took my kids to do some back to school shopping. We like JC penny normally because when other stores stop selling seasonal stuff usually JC penny still has it. This last time though most of the fitting rooms were closed. So we had to take a lot of stuff downstairs. The waiting room attendant was very unsympathetic. She said the words "sorry it's inconvenient" but honestly she didn't care. When I mentioned we couldn't find bags or carts to help carry stuff she first said that they never had them. When I explained that I remembered they had stuff in the past then she changed to that it was a Long time ago. I was super annoyed and said it would be really helpful to have carts since most of the fitting rooms are closed and her reply was "we're not a super market".

I had called into jewlery to get a status update on my wedding ring, my ring was suppose to be ready on July 4th. I ended up speaking to Cynthia who I assume is a supervisor or manager but has horrible customer service I am so surprised that's her job title. They are assuming my ring MAY take up to 10 weeks or longer but could not give me a status update. I had to argue with Cynthia over the phone for her to reach out to the warranty company it sounded like it was a bother for her to do her JOB! I read another review on here that lady still hasn't received her ring from March.. Do not go here for anything horrible customer service and they can't even keep track of orders they have to ship out.. Not that hard to write down tracking numbers and to get status updates! I have free warranty but I'd rather spend money to fix my ring to a company that actually cares and seems to know what they are doing unlike this Cynthia person! I'd rate this a 0 if I could!

My mom and I went to this JCPenney on Mother's Day. We already had bags of clothes and we were about to leave until my mom remembered that we forgot to buy towels. Once we got the towels, we got in line to pay. Yolanda was the cashier and was approving some guy for a JCP credit card. After Yolanda was done with the guy, she called us up. My mom asked her how much were the towels and she said they were $12.99 each and immediately suggested that if she wants something cheaper, to get towels that are $4.99. Ma'am, my mom asked you a simple question. Why are you jumping into conclusions like if my mom can't afford $12.99 towels? Mind you, my mom got 6. This lady kept on insisting for my mom to apply for a JCP card and even asked us if we were from Mexico. My mom replied, "No. We're from San Diego." What does our race or where were from have to do with this purchase? Why are you stereotyping us like if we can't afford stuff or can't apply for a credit card. We simply don't want to have credit with JCP. I know you probably get some sort of commission if you get customers to apply for a credit card but don't be passive aggressive when someone declines. I could have humbled this woman immediately but I was not in the mood to argue and I didn't want to spoil my mom's day. JCP needs to put this unprofessional judgmental l**** on check.

Been calling the store multiple times the past 3 days to f/u on a ring I left at the fine jewelry department for sizing. No answer. I even tried calling other departments so I could get transferred and no answered except Sephora and the Salon, I asked to get transferred to the fine jewelry dept but no one answered. Went to the store today, stood at the fine jewelry dept and called it. Their phone didn't ring. I told the sales associate their phone wasn't working and that I was calling it as I stood there. She said it's probably ringing but is on "low ring". She picked up and we connected. She said she's been asking her manager to fix the phone so they could hear it ring but it hasn't been fixed. She said she couldn't even call out even if she needed to bec no one picks up!!!! How sad is that? Please get your phones fixed!!! Anyways, promise date for my ring was 3/23-but no ring. I called the warranty dept and they don't have any records of it. They said they'll follow up. Technically no one knows where my ring is!!!! I don't even know what to feel right now ...

Shout out to Socorro @JCP hair salon. She cuts my mother's hair every 3 months and like always; IT LOOKS GREAT!!! She's the best hairdresser hands down.

Disaster area! Clothes on the floor, disorganized racks, trash in fitting rooms. Cashiers are courteous, but no other employees providing customer service on the floor- just stocking and hanging new items. Never greeted by any of them.

Lines are always long and the store looks pretty disorganized. The staff is fairly friendly. The most annoying thing is that you cannot get a hold of anyone on the phone at all. I called 5 times and tried every department just so i could ask about my curbside pickup order and nobody would answer the phone.
