So rude, multiple times. My husband is an Associate Professor at USF, which owns this farm, so we were trying to support the school by buying from here. We regularly purchase their veggie boxes, and recently, when my husband picked up the box, they berated him for taking it, instead of opening it up and taking the veggies in their plastic bag. Apparently they want to save their cardboard boxes, which is fine, but they should say that on their order forms or in the confirmation emails, instead of passive aggressive employees.The worst was today, when I went to pick up a box. I went during the time window written on both the order form and the confirmation email to find an empty parking lot, they had already departed. I called the main number asking if there was a mistake on the email and order form, and was told "it was written correctly elsewhere on the website". Well that's great, but since the only customer facing part of the website I interacted with is the order form, and the confirmation email also had the same mistake, why would I suspect anything was wrong. She berated me for several minutes about how I should have known better before trailing off without offering any next steps or solutions. I had to ask if I could pick elsewhere or get a refund, and was finally refunded begrudgingly.We want to support USF, but what a shoddy, ill-run business. We will be going elsewhere for our produce.
