Fisherman's Cove
1850 Bay Flat Rd, Bodega BayWe tried both this place and the crab company next door. We love fisherman’s cove so much more. There are a lot more food options and the flavors of the dishes are just delicious. Highly recommend.

The Birds Cafe
1407 CA-1, Bodega BayIf you're driving along Hwy 1 and/or are vacationing along Bodega Bay, you might have heard of the local-owned small biz The Birds Cafe. Came with a friend who highly recommended their fish n chips. I've only tried Fishertarian for seafood along the coast, so I was stoked to check out The Birds. We both had their fish and chips which came out hot and flavorful. The half a dozen oysters were on the smaller size, but delicious and worth every dollar. The chips are more circular and girthy than other types of F&C, with a thicker battered shell but still light and easy to crunch through. Their fries are delicious too. Parking is in a small dusty lot, so keep your windows rolled up. We saw families, kids, and dogs. Serve-yourself water. And a single unisex restroom stall shared among all shops. There's a little cafe next door too if you need a coffee or some pastries. I love that it's a small biz and there was literally only three people running the entire joint on a busy weekend! Service is friendly, and don't worry the line looks long, but moves quickly by the minute. HATS OFF to The Birds team. Would def come back with the pup to enjoy their nice and shady deck while enjoying some yummy foods.

La Bodeguita
2001 CA-1, Bodega BayI vacation in Bodega Bay several times a year and hadn’t tried this restaurant yet, it was foggy and cold so we decided we wanted to eat Somewhere inside Out of the wind. We are so happy we came to. La Bodeguita! First of all the salsa that came with the chips when we first sat down was amazing! We had it refilled several times. We started with the fried calamari and our main dinner choices were the Crab enchiladas and El Mazatian, Both were absolutely amazing, the seafood in them tasted so fresh, and there was huge chunks of crab in the enchiladas! It was very obvious that everything on our plate was homemade not out of a can. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to this restaurant It will be one of our regular stops.

Ginochio's Kitchen
1410 Bay Flat Rd, Bodega BayWe had the best chowder which was loaded with crab and scallops and split a crab sandwich. It couldn’t have been better. So glad we stopped here instead of at the crowded place further down the bay with long lines and a few picnic tables. We had yummy food and a view

Lucas Wharf Restaurant & Bar
595 CA-1, Bodega BayI'm probably never going to bodega bay again now that Lucas Wharf has closed and changed its owner. It's a rule that all the best things don't last so I'm not surprised.
