The peach and tomato salad was to die for. The touch is f pesto made it pop. My dear friend who never touches salad or eats anything green was raving about it. He was sorry he shared the salad with his wife and hadn't order his own. The crab cake appetizer and the sauce that comes with it, is the best in the west! Both the steak and the pork chop options were tender, juicy and delicious. We had four different desserts for our party of four and all were marvelous - the chocolate cake was moist and warm with home made whipped cream, the passion fruit cheese cake flavorful, the panna cota with strawberries scrumptious with a touch of basil, and the bread pudding with homemade whipped cream and carmel sauce....all very tasty! Can't wait to go back.

We always have such a wonderful meal here. This time it was Sea Bass, Caesar Salad, Corn Soup, Hamachi and crab cake. How can you go wrong. Lovely people, relaxed atmosphere. Just perfect. Go! You'll love it.

Wonderful meal to celebrate a milestone birthday. Service was excellent. Local fresh Oysters were the best I've ever had. We enjoyed it all, cocktails, wine, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Everything was delicious and made with love. For such a fine dining experience the atmosphere was casually relaxed. We'll definitely return.

Bodega Bay may be off the beaten track, but Terrapin Creek offers a wonderful experience. We have eaten in fine restaurants all over the world, and this is one of the finest. Small venue, very personal, excellent service ... and the food was outstanding. The chef has a Chinese heritage and trained also in Georgia. No wonder the Heirloom Tomato with Peach salad had such stunning blend of flavors, wonder Caesar salad and artisan breads. Sea food (scallops and wild Alaskan Halibut) were marvelous. Don't forget to notice the art on display. One of artists was our server!!

I try to visit this restaurant every time I'm in the north Bay Area. Easily one of my favorites. My first experience at Terrapin Creek was in 2016 and I've been recommending this place ever since. Consistent, non pretentious, environment. Amazing food that is reasonably priced. I love this restaurant more than some Michelin Star restaurants in Napa Valley. Must-try if you're in the area.

My husband and I got married around the corner from Terrapin Creek in 2019, so Bodega Bay holds a special place in our hearts. This was our first time dining here, and after hearing great things from so many people, we were excited to give it a try. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with sauces that were balanced and not overpowering—each element on the plate complemented the other beautifully. We'll definitely be back, and next time, we're making sure to save room for dessert!

I had the crab cake for appetizer, the pork chops for dinner and finished with the bread pudding dessert! The waiter suggested an Italian red for dinner and it went well with the pork. Service was personable and attentive. The smallish restaurant has a cozy vibe with a patio and fireplace. A must dine location!

Wonderful flavorful piping hot entrees & tasty margarita and perfect service. Couldn't ask for anything more. Of yes and the fresh strawberry panna cotta was sublime. Can't wait to go back to try more dishes.

The service was absolutely outstanding. The ambiance is so relaxed and welcoming. Food was very very good - not spectacular, but delicious and generous. Wine list is outstanding, though cocktail menu is quite limited. Will certainly be back. Loved it! ?

I'm visiting friends in Sebastopol and I would always go to Terrapin because food is superb and service is excellent. It's a hike from Sebastopol but well worth the drive. You need a reservation and the reservations get filled up very quickly. So plan ahead and you'll be happy ?!

We enjoyed a delicious meal at this charming restaurant! The oysters were very fresh and the crab cake was yummy. We had halibut as the main course which was cooked to perfection and surrounded with a fantastic blend of red quinoa and fresh vegetables. Their raspberry crème fraiche cheese cake was outstanding. The wine list was extensive. Service was outstanding. It was a perfect evening. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Bodega Bay!

It was good. We made reservations for our anniversary. I don't think they read the notes about it. The restaurant seems like and old house. It's okay, but the food was very good.

We always end up with just the starters because they are all so incredibly good. Last night we had the Hamachi Crudo, scallops, crab, corn soup and the seeded sourdough bread. The corn soup must be a seasonal item; it was absolutely sensational! Next time we want to break away from so many starters and try the fish stew. It looks delicious!

We loved everything about this small, family friendly restaurant. The farm fresh heirloom tomato and peach salad with Feta and a light vinaigrette. The grilled octopus salad. The entrees have delicate Asian flair. Medium rare duck breast with mushrooms and fingerlings was perfectly prepared. The Alaskan pan seared Halibut in a light butter sauce seasoned with a hint of coconut milk with fresh corn, zucchini and sweet tomatoes. Finished with a light bread pudding with more seasonal peaches and whipped cream. Gourmet California cuisine in tiny Bodega Bay.

Celebrated my 70th birthday here. Outstanding food and atmosphere. Don't let the basic exterior fool you. This is the real deal with great service and food preparation and taste! Only constructive comment is they need a little better "pour" with the wine.
